SECTION 1.

AVANT D’UTILISER CET APPAREIL

Instructions De Sécurité

• Le gaz réfrigérant R600a qui est contenu dans le réfrigérateur est un gaz naturel et
non nuisible à l’environnement, mais combustible. Il est donc importanat de trans­porter et installer vorte réfrigérateur avec soin afin de ne point endommager les
conduits réfrigérants. Dans le cas d’un choc ou fuite de gaz,éviter tout contact avec
une flamme ou un foyer à proximité et ventiler le local.

• Il est recommandé de ne pas utiliser des objets métalliques pointus ou autres ob­jects artificiels pour accélérer la décongelation.

• Ne pas utiliser d’appareils électriques à l’intérieur de réfrigérateur.

• Si votre remplacez votre ancien réfrigérateur, nous vous conseillons, par mesure de
sécurité, de détruire la serrure ou de la retirer, afin d’éviter que les enfants ne
s’enferment àl’intérieur au cours de leurs jeux.

• Les réfrigérateurs et congéteurs hors d’usage renferment des gaz calorifuges et
réfrigérants qui doivent étre évacués correctment. Veilez à ce que l’ancien
réfrigérateur soit mis au ebus correctment. Appelez le service de la décharge
publique de votre commune. Parfois le revendeur reprend l’ancien réfrigérateur.
Assurez-vous que les tubes frigorifiques ne sont pas endommagés anant la mise
à la décharge.

Lire soigneusement ce mode d’emploi préalablement au montage et à la mise en
marche . Le producteur ne reconnait aucune résponsabilité d’un dommage dû au mon­tage ou à l’utilisation éronnée contraire aux instructions données dans ce mode d’emploi.

Recommandations

Avertissement : N’utilisez pas d’appareils mécaniques ou d’autres moyens artificiels

pour accélérer le processus de décongélation. N’utilisez pas d’appareils électriques dans
l’espace de stockage des aliments de l’appareil. N’obstruez pas les ouvertures de ven­tilation de l’appareil. N’endommagez pas le circuit de liquide réfrigérant du réfrigérateur.

• Ne pas utiliser des adapteurs ou joints qui pourraient provoquer
le surchauffage ou l’incendie .

• Ne pas brancher sur la fiche des cables abimés et courbés .

• Ne jamais flexionner ni tractionner les câbles .

• Ne pas permettre aux enfants de jouer avec l’appareil . Les
empècher de s’asseoir sur les rayons ou de se pendre à la
porte .

• Pour racler le givre formé dans la partie congélante, ne pas
utiliser des objets metalliques tranchants qui pourraient trouer
le corps du congélateur et créer des dommages irréversibles .
Pour faire cela, utiliser un racloir en plastique .

• Ne pas insérer la fiche dans la prise avec la main mouillée .

• Afin d’éviter le danger d’explosion des bouteilles ou boites qui
contiennet en particulier des liquides gazeux (bouteilles en verre
ou boites en fer-blanc), ne pas les placer dans la partie
congélante durant la procédure de congélation .

• Les bouteilles contenant de l’alcool en grande quantité doivent
être soigneusement rebouchées et placées
perpendiculairement dans l’appareil .

• Ne pas toucher la surface réfrigérante avec la main mouillée,
afin d’éviter le risque d’être brulé ou blessé.

• Ne pas manger de la glace sortie de la partie congélante .

• Cet appareil n’est pas destiné à être utilisé par des personnes (enfants inclus) dont
les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou intellectuelles sont réduites ou bien
manquant d’expérience et de connaissances à moins d’avoir été encadrées ou
formées au niveau de l’utilisation de l’appareil par une personne responsable de
leur sécurité. Surveillez les enfants pour s’assurer qu’ils ne jouent pas avec
l’appareil.

• Si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé, il doit être remplacé par le fabriquant
ou par un agent de maintenance ou une personne dûment qualifiée.

Installation et branchement de l’appareil

• Cet appareil fonctionne sur courant alternatif 220-240V, 50 Hz.

• Avant d’effectuer le raccordement électrique, assurez-vous que le voltage indiqué
sur la plaque signalétique correspond au voltage de l’installation électrique de votre
habitation.

• Si la prise de courant et la prise du réfrigérateur ne s’adaptent pas, remplacez cette
dernière par une qui convient (au moins 16 A).

• L’appareil doit être relié à la terre. Si vous ne disposez pas de prise de terre, nous
vous conseillons de contacter un électricien.

• Le fabricant décline toute responsabilité en cas de non­raccordement à la terre conformément aux recommandations
de cette brochure.

• N’exposez pas l’appareil aux rayons directs du soleil.

• Cet appareil ne doit pas être utilisé en plein air, ni exposé à la
pluie.

• Placez le réfrigérateur loin des sources de chaleur dans un
endroit bien ventilé. Il doit se trouver au moins à 50 cm des
radiateurs, fours à gaz ou à charbon et à 5 cm des fours
électriques.

• Un espace d’au moins 15 cm doit être laissé libre au-dessus
de l’appareil.

• Evitez de placer des objets lourds ou un grand nombre d’objets
sur l’appareil.

• Si l’appareil est installé à côté d’un autre réfrigérateur ou
congélateur, observez une distance minimale de 2 cm pour
éviter la condensation.

• Ne posez pas de plats très chauds sur le plateau supérieur du
réfrigérateur au risque de l’endommager.

• Appliquez les butées murales en plastique sur le condensateur situé à l’arrière de
l’appareil afin d’éviter qu’il ne repose sur le mur et ainsi garantir de bonnes perfor­mances.

• L’appareil doit être stable et horizontal. Utilisez les pieds réglables situés à l’avant
de l’appareil pour compenser les irrégularités du sol.

• L’extérieur de l’appareil et les accessoires intérieurs doivent être nettoyés avec une
solution d’eau et de savon liquide. L’intérieur doit être nettoyé avec du bicarbonate
de soude dissout dans de l’eau tiède. Séchez avec soin et remettez les accessoires
en place.

Avant de brancher l’appareil

• Attendre 3 heures avant de brancher l’appareil afin de garantir des
performances optimales.

• Votre appareil neuf peut avoir une odeur particulière. Celle-ci
disparaîtra une fois qu’il commencera à se refroidir.

SECTION 2.

FONCTIONS DIVERSES

Réglage du thermostat

• Le thermostat régule la température du compartiment réfrigérateur, ainsi que celle
du compartiment congélateur. En tournant le bouton de la position 1. vers la posi­tion 5., vous pouvez obtenir des températures de plus en plus froides.

• En position « 0 », le thermostat est coupé et le refroidissement arrêté.

• Pour la conservation de moyenne durée d’aliments dans le compartiment
congélateur, réglez le bouton du thermostat entre minimum et moyen. (1-3)

• Pour la conservation de longue durée d’aliments dans le compartiment congélateur,
vous pouvez régler le bouton du thermostat sur moyen.(3-4)

• Remarque : la température ambiante, la température des aliments tout juste
rangés et la fréquence d’ouverture de la porte affectent la température du
compartiment réfrigérateur. Si nécessaire, changez le réglage du thermostat.

• A la première utilisation de l’appareil, nous vous conseillons de laisser l’appareil
fonctionner sans interruption pendant 24 heures jusqu’à ce qu’il atteigne la
température de refroidissement suffisante.

• Dans ce laps de temps, essayez de ne pas ouvrir la porte trop fréquemment et
placez-y le moins d’aliments possible.

• Si vous débranchez ou arrêtez l’appareil, attendez au moins 5 minutes avant de le
rebrancher ou de le remettre en marche afin de ne pas endommager le compresseur.

Accessoires

Voyant “Porte ouverte”

• Le voyant « Porte ouverte » situé sur la poignée indique si la porte
est correctement fermée ou non.

• Si le voyant est rouge, la porte est encore ouverte.

• Si le voyant est blanc, la porte est correctement fermée.

• La porte du congélateur doit toujours être fermée. Vous pourrez ainsi
éviter la décongélation des produits, la formation de glace et de givre
à l’intérieur du congélateur et l’augmentation de la consommation
d’énergie.

Bac à glaçons

• Remplissez le bac à glaçons d’eau et placez-le dans le compartiment congélateur.

• Une fois que l’eau s’est entièrement transformée en glace, tordez le bac entre vos
mains pour détacher les glaçons (voir figure ci-dessous).

SECTION 3.

• Débranchez l’appareil avant de le nettoyer.

• Ne versez pas d’eau dans l’appareil pour
le nettoyer.

• Le compartiment réfrigérateur doit être nettoyé régulièrement à
l’aide d’une solution de bicarbonate de soude et d’eau tiède.

• Nettoyez les accessoires séparément avec de l’eau
savonneuse. Ne les lavez pas au lave-vaisselle.

• N’utilisez pas des produits abrasifs, de détergents ou de savon.
Après lavage, rincez à l’eau claire et séchez avec soin. Vous
pouvez alors rebrancher l’appareil (vos mains doivent être
sèches).

• Le condensateur doit être nettoyé avec un balai au moins
deux fois par an afin d’améliorer les performances de
l’appareil et de réaliser des économies d’énergie.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

Dégivrage

Compartiment réfrigérateur

• Le dégivrage du compartiment réfrigérateur est automatique. L’eau de dégivrage
est recueillie dans le bac d’évaporation et s’évapore automatiquement.

• Le bac d’évaporation et l’orifice de drainage de l’eau de dégivrage doivent être
nettoyés régulièrement à l’aide du bouchon de l’orifice de drainage pour éviter que
l’eau ne stagne en bas du réfrigérateur au lieu de partir vers l’extérieur.

• Vous pouvez également verser un demi-verre d’eau dans l’orifice de drainage pour
en nettoyer l’intérieur.

Compartiment congélateur

Pour assurer un fonctionnement optimum de votre appareil, il faut enlever
régulièrement la glace qui s’accumule dans le compartiment congélateur en dégivrant
toutes les deux à trois semaines, ou quand la couche de glace atteint une épaisseur de
3 à 5 mm. Sinon, cela pourrait endommager la porte du congélateur et affecter la
température à l’intérieur du compartiment réfrigérateur.

Procédure de dégivrage :

• Vérifiez que le récolte-gouttes n’a pas été déplacé.

• La veille du dégivrage, placez le thermostat en position 5. pour congeler les ali­ments au maximum.

• Pendant le dégivrage, les aliments congelés doivent être enveloppés dans plusieurs
couches de papier et placés dans un endroit frais. L’augmentation inévitable de la
température des aliments congelés va réduire leur durée de conservation. Pensez
à les consommer assez rapidement.

• Laissez la porte ouverte afin d’accélérer le dégivrage. Vous pouvez également placer
des récipients d’eau chaude dans le compartiment congélateur.

• Essuyez l’intérieur du compartiment ainsi que le récolte-gouttes, remettez le bouchon
et placez le thermostat en position 5.

Remplacement de l’ampoule

Pour remplacer l’ampoule du compartiment réfrigérateur :

1. Débranchez l’appareil.

2. Appuyez sur des deux côtés du capot de la lampe et retirez-le.

3. Remplacez l’ampoule par une nouvelle ampoule d’une puissance maximale de
15 W.

4. Replacez le capot de la lampe et attendez 5 minutes avant de rebrancher l’appareil.

SECTION 4.

Transport et déplacement de l’appareil

• Vous pouvez conserver le carton et le polystyrène d’emballage.

• Si vous devez transporter l’appareil, attachez-le avec un tissu large ou une corde
solide. Les consignes écrites sur le carton ondulé doivent être appliquées lors du
transport.

• Avant de transporter ou de déplacer l’appareil, tous les accessoires (clayettes, bac à
légumes, etc.) doivent être enlevés ou fixés avec de l’adhésif pour éviter qu’ils ne
bougent.

TRANSPORT ET DEPLACEMENT

Changement du sens d’ouverture de la porte

Si vous devez modifier le sens d’ouverture de la porte, consultez le service après-

vente.

SECTION 5.

Le problème à l’origine du mauvais fonctionnement de votre réfrigérateur peut être

mineur. Pour économiser du temps et de l’argent, procédez aux vérifications ci-dessous.

Votre réfrigérateur ne fonctionne pas
Vérifiez :

• qu’il est branché,

• que l’interrupteur général de votre habitation n’est pas déconnecté,

• que le thermostat n’est pas positionné sur « 0 »,

• que la prise est adaptée. Pour ce faire, branchez un autre appareil sur la même
prise.

Votre réfrigérateur ne fonctionne pas de façon optimale :

Vérifiez :

• que vous ne l’avez pas surchargé,

• que les portes sont bien fermées,

• que le condensateur n’est pas couvert de poussière,

• que l’espace laissé derrière et sur les côtés est suffisant.

Votre appareil est bruyant :

La gaz de refroidissement qui circule dans le circuit de réfrigération peut parfois
faire un petit bruit (glougloutement) même lorsque le compresseur ne fonctionne pas.
Ne vous inquiétez pas, cela est tout à fait normal. Si vous entendez un bruit différent,
vérifiez :

• que l’appareil est bien à l’horizontale,

• que rien ne touche l’arrière,

• que le contenu de l’appareil ne vibre pas.

S’il y a de l’eau dans la partie inférieure du réfrigérateur
Vérifiez que :

L’orifice de drainage de l’eau de dégivrage n’est pas bouché. Utilisez le bouchon de
l’orifice de drainage pour le nettoyer.

Recommandation importante :

Votre réfrigérateur / congélateur ne doit pas être placé dans une pièce trop froide ou
trop chaude. Sinon, il ne pourra pas fonctionner correctement. Les témpératures
minimales et maximales de la pièce où doit être placé votre appareil dépendent de la
classe climatique de votre réfrigérateur. Veuillez vous réferer à la classe indiquée sur la
plaque signélatique collée sur votre appareil.

PART- 1. BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

Safety Instructions

• If the model contains R600a-see name plate inside refrigerator (the coolant
isobutane), naturals gas that, is very environmentally friendly but also combustible.
When transporting and installing the unit care must be taken to ensure that none of
the refrigeration circuit components become damaged. In the event of damage avoid
naked flames or ignition sources and ventilate the room in which the unit is placed
for a few minutes.

• Do not use mechanical devices or other artificial means to accelerate the defrosting
process.

• Do not use electrical appliances in de the food storage of the appliance.

• If this appliance is to replace an old refrigerator with a lock; break or remove the lock
as a safety measure before storing it, to protect children while playing might lock
themselves inside.

• Old refrigerators and freezers contain insulation gases and refrigerant, which must
be disposed of properly. Entrust the disposal of a scrap unit categorically to compe­tence of your local waste disposal service and contact your local authority or your
dealer if you have any questions. Please ensure that the pipe of work of your refrig­erating unit does not get damaged prior to being picked-up by the relevant waste
disposal service.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please read this booklet before installing and switching on this appliance. The manu­facturer assumes no responsibility for incorrect installation and usage as described in
this booklet.

Recommendations

Warning: Do not use mechanical devices or other artificial means to accelerate the

defrosting process. Do not use electrical appliances in the food storage of the appliance.
Keep the appliance ventilation openings free. Do not damage the refrigerator’s refriger­ant circuit.

• Do not use adapters or shunts, which could cause overheating
or burning.

• Do not plug old, warped power supply cables.

• Do not twist and bend the cables.

• Do not allow children to play with the appliance. Children must
NEVER sit on drawers or hang from the door.

• Do not use sharp metal objects for removing ice on the freezer
compartment; they could puncture the refrigerator circuit and
cause unrepairable damage to the unit.

• Do not plug the power supply with wet hands.

• Do not place containers (glass bottles or tin containers) of liq­uids into the freezer especially gassy liquids as they could cause
the container to burst during freezing.

• Bottles that contain a high percentage of alcohol must be sealed
well and placed vertically in the refrigerator.

• Do not touch the cooling surfaces, especially with wet hands as
you could be burnt or hurt.

• Do not eat ice, which have just been removed from the freezer.

• The appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, un­less they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appli­ance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to en­sure that they don’t play with the appliance.

• If the supply cord is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer or service
agent or appointed person.

Installation and Switching On The Appliance

• This appliance is connecting to 220-240V or 200-230V and 50 Hz. Please check
nameneplate of appliance and be sure voltage range suitable to your mains volt­age.

• You can offer help from the service to install and switching on the appliance.

• Before making the connection to the power supply, ensure that the voltage on the
nameplate corresponds to the voltage of electrical system in your home.

• Insert the plug into a socket with an efficient ground connection. If the socket has no
ground contact or the plug does not match, we suggest you to call an authorised
electrician for assistance.

• The plug should be accessible after the appliance is positioned.

• Manufacturer is not responsible for failure to complete the
ground connection as described in this booklet.

• Do not place the appliance in direct sunlight.

• Do not use in open air and shall not be exposed to the rain.

• Place the refrigerator far from heat sources and in a well-venti­lated position. The refrigerator should be at least 50 cm from
radiators,gas or coal stoves and 5 cm far from electrical stoves.

• Keep the top free for at least 15 cm.

• Do not place heavy and lots of things on the appliance.

• If the appliance is installed next to another refrigerator or freezer,
observe a miminum distance of 2 cm to prevent condensation.

• Do not put very ( !) hot food or bowl on the top table.It can dam­age the toptable.

• Fit the plastic wall spacers to the condenser at the back of the
refrigerator in order to prevent leaning to the wall for good per­formance.

• The appliance must be stand firmly and level on the floor Use
levelling-feet to compensate for an even floor.

• The outside of the appliance and the accessories inside should be cleaned with a
solution of water and liquid soap ; the inside of the appliance with sodium bicarbon­ate dissolved in lukewarm water. After drying replace all the accessories.

Before Switching On

• Wait after 3 hours before plugging the appliance in to the power to
ensure proper performance.

• There can be an odor when you first switch on the appliance. It
will disappear after the appliance starts to cool.

PART- 2.

THE VARIOUS FUNCTION AND POSSIBILITIES

Thermostat Setting

• Thermostat automatically regulates the inside temperature of the refrigerator com­partment and freezer compartment.By rotating the knob from position 1. to 5., colder
temperatures can be obtained.

• « 0 » position shows thermostat is closed and no cooling is available.

• For short-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set the knob
between minimum and medium position.(1-3)

• For long-term storage of food in the freezer compartment, you can set knop medium
position.(3-4)

Note that; the ambiant temperature, temperature of the freshly stored food and
how often the door is opened, affects the temperature in the refrigerator compart­ment. If required,change the temperature setting.

• When you first switch on the appliance, for starting a suitable cooling, the appliance
should work 24 hours continuously until it cools down to sufficient temperature.

• In this time do not open the door so often and place a lot of food inside the appliance.

• If the unit is switched off or unplugged, you must allow at least 5 minutes before
restarting or re-plugged the unit in order not to damage the compressor.

Accessories

“Door Open” Indicator

• The « Door Open » indicator on the handle shows whether the door

has closed properly or whether it is still open.

• If the indicator is red, the door is still open.

• If the indicator is white, the door is properly closed.

• Observe that the freezer’s door should always be kept closed. This

will prevent food products from defrosting; it will avoid heavy ice and
frost build-up inside the freezer and an unnecessary increase in
energy consumption.

Making Ice cubes;

Ice tray

• Fill the ice tray with water and place in freezer compartment.

• After the water completely turned into ice, you can twist the tray as shown below to
get the ice cube.

• Disconnect unit from the power supply before cleaning.

• Do not clean the appliance by pouring water.

• The refrigerator compartment should be cleaned peri­odically using a solution of bicarbonate of soda and luke­warm water.

• Clean the accessories seperately with soap and water Do
not clean them in the washing machine.

• Do not use abrasive products, detergents or soaps.After
washing, rinse with clean water and dry carefully. When the
cleaning operations have been completed reconnect the
plug of the unit with dry hands.

• You should clean the condenser with broom at least twice
a year in order to provide energy saving and increase
the productivity.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Defrosting

For Cooler compartment;

• Defrosting occurs automatically in refrigerator compartment during operation ; the
defrost water is collected by the evaporating tray and evoparates automatically.

• The evaporating tray and the defrost water drain hole should be cleaned periodically
with defrost drain plug to prevent the water from collecting on the bottom of the re­frigerator instead of flowing out.

• You can also pour ½ glass of the water to drain hole to clean inside.

For Freezer compartment;

The frost, accumulated in the freezer compartment, should be removed periodically.
The freezer compartment should be cleaned in the way as the refrigerator compartment,
with the defrost operations of the compartment at least twice a year.

For this;

• The day before you defrost, set the thermostat dial to 5. position to freeze the foods
completely.

• During defrosting, frozen foods should be wrapped in several layers of paper and
kept in a cool place. The inevitable rise in temperature will shorten their storage life.
Remember to use these foods within a relatively short period of time.

• Switch the refrigerator off at the socket outlet and pull the main plug

• Leave the door open and to accelerate the defrosting process one or more basins of
warm water can be placed in the freezer compartment.

• Dry the inside of the unit and water tray, refit the tray plug and set the thermostat knob
to 5 position.

Replacing The Light Bulb

When replacing the light of the refrigerator compartment;

1. Unplug the unit from the power supply,

2. Press the hooks on the sides of the light cover top and remove the light cover

3. Change the present light bulb with a new one of not more than 15 W.

4. Replace the light cover and after waiting 5 minutes plug the unit.

Transportation and Changing of Installation Position

• The original packages and foamed polystyrene (PS) can be concealed if required.

• In transportation the appliance should be tied with a wide stripe or a strong rope.
The rules written on the corrugated box must be applied while transporting.

• Before transporting or changing old installation position, all the moving objects
(ie,shelves,crisper…) should be taken out or fixed with bands in order to prevent the
shake.

If your refrigerator is not working properly,it may be a minor problem, therefore check

the following, before calling an electrician to save time and money.

What to do if your refrigerator does not operate ;
Check that ;

• There is no power,

• The general switch in your home is not disconnected ,

• The thermostat setting is on « 0 » position,

• The socket is not sufficient. To check this, plug in another appliance that you know
which is working into the same socket.

What to do if your refrigerator performs poorly ;
Check that ;

• You have not overloaded the appliance ,

• The doors are closed perfectly ,

• There is no dust on the condenser ,

• There is enough place at the rear and side walls.

If there is noise ;

The cooling gas which circulates in the refrigerator circuit may make a slight
noise(bubbling sound) even when the compressor is not running. Do not worry this is
quite normal. If these sounds are different check that ;

• The appliance is well leveled ,

• Nothing is touching the rear ,

• The stuffs on the appliance are vibrating.

If there is water in the lower part of the refrigerator ;
Check that ;

The drain hole for defrost water is not clogged(Use defrost drain plug to clean the
drain hole)

If your fridge is not cooling enough;

Your fridge is designed to operate in the ambient temperature intervals stated in the
standards, according to the climate class stated in the information label. We do not rec­ommend operating your fridge out of stated temperatures value limits in terms of cooling
effectiveness.

Recommendations

• In order to increase space and improve the appearance,the « cooling section » of
refrigerators is positioned inside the back wall of the refrigerator compartment. When
the appliance is running, this wall is covered with frost or water drops,according to
weather the compressor is running or not. Do not worry. This is quite normal. The
appliance should be defrosted only if an excessively thick layer forms on the wall.

• If the appliance is not used for long time (for example during the summer holidays)set
te thermostat knob to « 0 » position. Defrost and clean the refrigerator leaving the
door open to prevent the formation of midew and smell.
