TAALARMmode:whenthismodeisselected,anyautomaticretunemodeisnot
activated.Onlydoublebeepsound(ALARM)willbeheard.
WhenTPinformationgetslostatthecurrentstationforretunetime,thebeepsound
willbeheard.
WhennewlytunedstationhasnoRDSsignal,PISEEKissuppressed.
2)PISOUND/PIMUTE:
PISOUNDmode:ifacarcruisesbetweenbuildingsthatcouldcausereflecting
signals,aphenomenonmayoccur,duetodifferentPIcodesbeingreceivedfromthe
sameAFsource.whendifferentPIsounds(DIP)areheardoccasionally,thiswill
happenforlessthan1second.
PIMUTEmode:underabovesamesituation,amutesoundwillbeheardforless
than1second.
3)RETUNEL/RETUNES:
TheinitialtimeofautomaticTAsearchorPISEARCHmodeisselected.
WhenPIinformationisnotreceivedforretuneinterval,theradiostartstoretuneto
nextsamePIstation.
WhensamePIstationdoesnotreceive1cyclicsearch,theradiogoestolaststation
andwaitsfor4-5minutesuntilPIcodeisreceived.
RETUNELmode:selectedas150seconds.
RETUNESmode:selectedas90seconds.
4)MASKDPI/MASKALL:
MASKDPImode:masksonlytheAFwhichhasdifferentPI.
MASKALLmode:maskstheAFwhichhasdifferentPIandNORDSsignalwithhigh
fieldstrength.
5)BEEPON/BEEPOFF
BEEPONmode:Thebeepisgeneratedwhenanykeyispressed.
BEEPOFFmode:Thebeepsoundisdisabled.
6) VOLLAST/VOLDEFA
VOLLAST:Theradioswitchesonattheactualvolumeithadwhenitwaslast
VOLDEFA:AfterpressingSELbutton,AVOLwillbedisplayed.Thenyoucan
switchedoff.
pre-selectaconstantswitch-onvolumebypressingtheVOL(/)button.
