Purpose
Thank you for purchasing a backguard accessory for
your Bosch Rangetop.
This ornamental panel affixes to the rear of the rangetop
extending the appliance frame up the back wall of the
kitchen. This accessory is not required for 0” clearance
to a kitchen back wall.

Wear gloves to avoid cutting fingers on sharp edges
during Installation.
WARNING
Fingers or hands could get pinched when installing the
backguard. Severe injury could result. Use extreme
caution and wear thick protective gloves to avoid
potential laceration to finger or hand while attaching the
backguard onto the rangetop.
WARNING
To avoid possible burn or fire hazard, never use any
other backguard than the one specified for this
appliance.
WARNING
Hidden surfaces may have sharp edges.
Use caution when reaching behind or
under appliance.
This backguard is designed to be used against a wall.
The rear surface can get hot during use so should not be
touched. Do not use this accessory with an island or
similar open installation.

Installation Procedure
1.
Remove any protective film.
2.
Remove the 2screws shown in the diagram below
and retain for step 3.

▯ Phillips head screwdriver
▯ Gloves

Fit the backguard over the range top back side and
affix with the 2 screws removed in step 2and the
6 screws from the packaging.
