As a national leader in the designing and manufacturing of quality storage systems, we continually help
customers achieve their goals in terms of efficiency, productivity, security and cost. To assist in our
efforts Borroughs utilizes Configura rendering software. Configura allows us to interface with architectural
drawings, makes planning simpler, and produces 3D renderings of your facilities and storage systems
during the planning phase. All of this prior to manufacturing and installation.

and gives full insight into how your storage systems will appear
prior to purchase. Couple that with our project management

Borroughs Powder Coat Paint systems are state of the art, resulting in a durable, furniture quality nish—

Our Green ISO 14001:2004 registered processes exceed current environmental standards and our
powder coating contains no ingredients banned by the EPA. Borroughs’ powder coat nished surfaces will

SHELVES
Borroughs' Box Edge Plus shelf is designed for additional value and aesthetics without additional investment. The front
and rear edges of the shelf are formed into a closed, welded box shape that, along with the lapped and welded corners,
give the shelf maximum strength and rigidity. Plus, the box edge provides additional strength to handle impact or point
loads. The Box Edge Plus shelf also has a cleaner, more attractive front edge and is fully compatible with all existing
Borroughs' shelf brackets and posts. All shelves are punched on 1" centers for shelf dividers, except for 42" x 32" which

FRAMED DOORS
Swing-type doors for angle post shelving are made with a 3-point locking door
handle.Doors consist of a fully contained welded steel frame, which bolts to
the face of the unit simply and easily. Framed doors are available to fit shelving
up to 7'3" tall. Two or more standard-sized doors are used for heights of 7'3".
A special 4'0" high door is made for use above ledges. Doors will fit high
density drawer units. Doors are not compatible with Beaded Post or Beaded

Borroughs offers a large number of standard pre-configured drawer interiors frequently ordered for small parts storage.
For simplicity, these Borroughs' drawers and interiors can be ordered as a complete, outfitted assembly using only
one part number. This provides the drawer, including the slide and handle/label holder, factory installed partitions with
essential dividers packaged together. This makes ordering quick and easy...and saves installation time, too!
BOX EDGE PLUS
PARTITIONS
Galvanized, slotted steel partitions create major drawer interior storage
spaces. Partitions slide into slots on drawer walls to span the full depth
of drawers–and, allow the addition of dividers to further subdivide the
drawer's interior.
DIVIDERS
Galvanized steel dividers subdivide the storage spaces between partitions or
partitions and drawer walls. Dividers simply drop into slots in partitions and
drawer walls making storage space adjustments quick and easy. Slots in
partitions and drawer walls are on 20mm (3/4" nominal) centers. Divider widths
are measured by the number of drawer wall slots the divider spans (i.e. a 4s
divider will span 4 slots). Dividers are available in heights to match partitions
and in 17 widths (refer to page 44). The 36" wide drawer has 39 slots and the
48" wide drawer has 54 slots.

Rivet-Span® shelving units are made up of posts,
side-to-side beams, and front-to-back beams. There
are certain minimum requirements for beam use to
ensure structural stability and safety. For example:
all units must have a full "perimeter" of double rivet
beams, meaning two side-to-side and two front-toback, at both top and bottom of unit for stability. There

Precongured Units - Include all required beams.
Installation instructions (included with shipment) show
how to position beams correctly.
Non-precongured Units - Follow these guidelines
when specifying individual components:
• All units require a full perimeter of double rivet
beams at top and bottom of unit.
• Single Rivet Beam (SRB) and Double Rivet Low
Prole Beam (DRLPB) units 24" deep or less:
• do not require SRB's front-to-back at each
intermediate level in the unit.
• 6'-8' high must have one SRB intermediate
level front-to-back, located approximately in
the middle of the unit.
• 9'-10' high must have two SRB intermediate
levels front-to-back, located to divide the
height into 3 equal parts.
• 11'-16' high must have three intermediate
levels; a full perimeter of Double Rivet Beams
(DRB) in the middle plus intermediate levels
of front-to-back SRB's in the upper and lower

MINI-MEZZANINE SYSTEMS -
SAVING FLOOR SPACE WITH STACKABLE UNITS
Borroughs new Mini-Mezzanine Systems offer big time storage capacity in a small compact foot print.
These systems are perfect for businesses looking to utilize vertical space where floor space is at a premium.
Used widely in facilities maintenance areas, warehouses, and distribution centers - these mezzanines are selfsupported, and provide an ample supply of storage for small parts and/or products.
FEATURES:
• A self-supporting mezzanine system utilizing the Borroughs 30" wide x 29"
deep Eye-level Modular Drawer Cabinets (w/ forklift base).
• Construction consists of a Staircase, End Guards, and 60" wide preconfigured deck sections
• 3/16" thick diamond plate steel on decking and staircase.
• The deck surface features welded tubular pockets for field attachment
of welded handrails.

• All handrail is constructed from 2" square, 16 gauge wall structural tubing,
with black plastic end caps.
• Optional shelf cabinets can be added to tops of upper cabinets to enhance
storage capacity for bulky items.
