CIVIC SI - MOTOR MOUNTS
INSTALLATION MANUAL
TOOLS REQUIRED
Set of car stands
M17 socket wrench
M19 socket wrench
M17 box wrench
Remove plastic vacuum hose from rubber
When lifting the car
adaptor on the top of valve cover (leave
rubber adaptor in place).
always use stands to

secure the car.
Remove front mount bracket bolts.

Remove top mount bolts.

Remove coolant hose from support and
push it over support bracket.

MATERIALS REQUIRED
None
Remove the top mount.

Push the front mount toward the radiator.

Remove front mount main bolt.

Twist the front mount to the right.

Remove the front mount.

Remove rear mount bolts.

Push the engine toward the front of the
car and slide the rear mount down and
out.

Get the Boomba Motor Mounts ready.

Insert the rear mount.

Line up mounting holes and insert
mounting bolts.
Do not tighten bolts yet.

Insert the front mount.

Secure the front mount to the engine with
three bolts.
Do not tighten bolts yet.

Insert the main bolt.
Tighten all bottom mounting bolts.

Line up and insert front bolts.
Tighten all top mounting bolts.

Insert coolant hose in its bracket.

Insert the top mount.

Line up and insert the rear bolt.
