EVO X - FUEL RAIL

INSTALLATION MANUAL

TOOLS REQUIRED

M10 socket wrench
M12 socket wrench
Flat screw driver
Pliers

Disconnect battery terminals.

Remove the fuel pressure regulator’s
vacuum hose.

Remove the engine cover.

Unplug fuel injectors and disconnect the
wire harness.

MATERIALS REQUIRED

1/4” (6mm) fuel hose 11”
(280mm) long

Remove the fuel supply line.

Remove the fuel return hose.

Remove the vacuum hose.

Remove the fuel return tube’s bolts and
move the tube to the side.

Remove bolts securing the fuel rail.

Remove the fuel rail.

Remove fuel injectors.

Remove the fuel pressure regulator.

Install fuel injectors in the Boomba Fuel
Rail and secure them with clips.

Remove hose clamps from factory fuel
return hose and install them on the 6mm
fuel hose.

Secure the vacuum hose and the fuel
return hose to the fuel pressure regulator.

Install Boomba Fuel Rail and secure it to
the manifold with bolts.

Install the fuel pressure regulator. Route
hoses under regulator. Connect the
vacuum hose to the intake manifold.
Connect the fuel return hose to the return

tube. Secure it with the hose clamp. Bolt
the fuel pressure regulator to the rail.

Connect the fuel supply line to the
manifold. Make sure that connector is
pressed all the way in and secure it with
the clip.

Install the vacuum hose. Plug fuel
injectors. Secure the wire harness.

Reinstall the engine cover.
