DEAR CUSTOMER,
Congratulations on your purchase of the BONECO P400.
The highly efficient air purifier is equipped with a triple
filter system that rids the air of odors as well as dust,
pollen and contaminants. The filter also effectively alleviates many forms of discomfort caused by allergies. This
includes hay fever or allergic reactions to dust mites and
household dust.
The BONECO P400 is designed for convenient, fully automated operation. The smart control system ensures that
the noise level remains as low as possible.

FRONT COVER AND FILTER TYPES
MAGNETIC FRONT COVER
The BONECO P40 0 front cover is held on by magnets. The
air purifier does not switch on if the front cover is missing
or positioned incorrectly.
NOTES ON THE FILTERS
Your BONECO P400 was shipped from the factory with
the “ALLERGY”, “SMOG” or “BABY” filter. However, the
appliance is compatible with all three filter types. The
delivered filter can be replaced by another model at any
time if your requirements change.

You can get the replacement filters at your BONECO
specialist dealer or at the online store at www.shop.
boneco.com. The filters are identified by these labels:

BRIGHTNESS OF THE DISPLAY
The brightness of the display depends on the ambient
light. The display is dimmed automatically if the BONECO
P400 is used in a dark room (such as a bedroom).
CLEARING THE FILTER WARNING
The symbol does not go out automatically after the
filter has been replaced. Press and hold the button
for five seconds to hide the symbol. This also resets the
counter for the new filter at the same time.

BASIC FUNCTIONS
The BONECO P400 can easily be adapted to suit your
needs. Whenever you switch off the unit, all settings are
saved until the next use. However, the settings are reset
whenever the unit is disconnected from the power supply.
MANUALLY CONTROLLING THE FAN LEVEL
The fan level of the BONECO P400 can be controlled
manually, such as if you want the air to be thoroughly
purified in the shortest possible time.
Push the button repeatedly until the desired fan setting is achieved.
POWER LEVEL
“Power Level” (P) can be achieved by pressing the
button. The fan is working at its maximum output under
Power Level (P).

USING FRAGRANCES
The fragrance container for adding fragrances is on the
backside of the BONECO P400.
1. Briefly push on the fragrance container to unlock it and
then remove the compartment.
2. Insert the fragrance into the fragrance container.
3. Push the fragrance container into the air purifier until
it clicks into place.

REPLACING THE FILTER
The filter is worn out if the symbol is illuminated. The
filter must be replaced at this point to continue to ensure
optimal air purification.
The filter must be replaced as soon as possible after the
reminder is displayed but after one year at the latest.
The procedure for replacing the filter corresponds to the
figures on page 6.
1. Replace the filter in accordance with the instructions
on page 6.
2. Hold the
button for 5 seconds to the hide the symbol

CLEANING THE PRE-FILTER
The pre-filter prevents excessive dust accumulation from
getting inside the BONECO P400.
1. Clean the pre-filter under running water or using a
vacuum cleaner.
2. Allow the pre-filter to dry completely before re-inserting it.

COUVERCLE FRONTAL MAGNÉTIQUE
Le couvercle frontal du BONECO P400 est maintenu
par des aimants. Le purificateur d’air ne se met pas en
marche si le couvercle frontal est manquant ou s’il est
mal posé.
REMARQUES CONCERNANT LES FILTRES
Votre BONECO P400 a été équipé en usine avec le filtre
«ALLERGY», «SMOG» ou «BABY». L’appareil est toutefois
compatible avec ces trois types de filtres. Le filtre livré
peut être remplacé par un autre modèle à tout moment,
en cas de modifications des exigences.

LUMINOSITÉ DE L’AFFICHAGE
La luminosité de l’affichage dépend de la lumière ambiante. L’éclairage de l’affichage varie automatiquement
si le BONECO P400 est utilisé dans une pièce sombre (par
exemple une chambre à coucher).
SUPPRESSION DE L’AVERTISSEMENT CONCERNANT
LE FILTRE
L’icône ne s’efface pas automatiquement après le
remplacement du filtre. Pour masquer le symbole, maintenez la touche enfoncée pendant cinq secondes. En
même temps, le compteur de service est remis à zéro
pour le nouveau filtre.

Le BONECO P400 s’adapte facilement à vos besoins.
Quand vous éteignez l’appareil, tous les réglages restent
enregistrés jusqu’à la mise en marche suivante de l’appareil. Cependant, les réglages sont réinitialisés quand
l’appareil est débranché du réseau électrique.

Le degré de ventilation du BONECO P400 peut être commandé manuellement – par exemple si l’air doit être purifié à fond très rapidement.

La face arrière du BONECO P400 est équipée du récipient pour subs tances odorante s qui permet d’ajouter des
substances odorantes.
1. Appuyez brièvement sur le récipient pour substances
odorantes afin de le déverrouiller et tirez sur le compartiment pour l’extraire.
2. Ajoutez la substance odorante dans le récipient.
3. Glissez le récipient pour substances odorantes dans le
purificateur d’air jusqu’à ce qu’il s’encliquète.

NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE

REMPLACEMENT DU FILTRE
Le filtre est usagé quan d le symbole s’allume à l’écran.
Il faut maintenant remplacer le filtre pour garantir que la
purification de l’air continuera à être optimale.
Le filtre doit être remplacé après affichage du rappel
, toutefois après un an au plus tard.
La procédure de remplacement du filtre correspond aux
figures illustrées à la page 14.
1. Remplacez le filtre conformément aux instructions
figurant à la page 14.
2. Maintenez la touche enfoncée pendant 5 secondes
afin de masquer le symbole .
NETTOYAGE DU PRÉFILTRE
Le préfiltre empêche l’accumulation de poussière à l’intérieur du BONECO P400.
1. Nettoyez le préfiltre à l’aspirateur ou à l’eau courante.
2. Laissez sécher le préfiltre complètement avant de le
remettre en marche.

CUBIERTA FRONTAL MAGNÉTICA
La cubierta frontal del BONECO P400 se sujeta mediante
imanes. El purificador no se enciende si falta la cubierta
frontal o esta está mal colocada.

Su BONECO P400 se suministra de fábrica con el filtro
“ALLERGY”, “SMOG” o “BABY”. No obstante, el aparato

BRILLO DEL PANEL
El brillo del panel depende de la luz ambiente. El brillo
del panel se atenúa automáticamente cuando el BONECO
P400 se utiliza en espacios oscuros (por ejemplo en el
dormitorio).
BORRAR LA ADVERTENCIA DEL FILTRO
El símbolo no se apaga automáticamente tras haber
sustituido el filtro. Para ocultar el símbolo, pulse la tecla
durante cinco segundos. De esta forma se reinicia al
mismo tiempo el contador de horas de servicio del nuevo
filtro.

FUNCIONES BÁSICAS
El BONECO P400 puede adaptarse libremente a sus necesidades. Cuando se apaga el aparato, se guardan todos
los ajustes hasta el próximo encendido. Sin embargo, los
ajustes se reiniciarán si el aparato se desconecta de la
corriente.

SUSTITUCIÓN DEL FILTRO
Si se ilumina el símbolo en el panel, indica que el filtro
está gastado. Para poder seguir garantizando una óptima
purificación debe cambiarse el filtro en ese momento.
El filtro debe cambiarse tras visualizar la advertencia
en un plazo máximo de un año.
El procedimiento para sustituir el filtro se corresponde
con lo que muestran las imágenes de la página 22.
1. Sustituya el filtro de acuerdo con las indicaciones de
la página 22.
2. Mantenga pulsada la tecla durante 5 segundos
hasta que se oculte el símbolo .
LIMPIEZA DEL FILTRO PREVIO
El filtro previo sirve pa ra evitar grandes acumulaciones de
polvo en el interior del BONECO P400.
1. Limpie el filtro previo con el aspirador o con agua corriente.
2. Deje que se seque por completo el filtro previo antes
de volver a utilizarlo.
