EINLEITUNG
GESCHÄTZTER KUNDE
Wir gratulieren Ihnen zum Kauf des BONECO H680. Sein
hybrider Aufbau reinigt und befeuchtet die Raumluft in
einem Arbeitsgang. Seine intelligente Steuerung reduziert das Betriebsgeräusch auf ein Minimum, sodass Sie
den BONECO H680 sogar im Schlafzimmer oder Kinderzimmer verwenden können.
Der BONECO H680 ist für den unkomplizierten, vollautomatischen Betrieb konzipiert. Sämtliche Eigenschaften lassen sich jedoch an Ihre Vorlieben und Anforderungen anpassen. Diese Anleitung zeigt Ihnen, wie Sie sich
Ihr eigenes Wohlfühlklima schaffen.
LINDERUNG BEI ALLERGIEN
Der BONECO H680 ist mit einem dreifachen Filtersystem ausgestattet, das die Luft nicht nur von Gerüchen,
sondern auch von Staub, Pollen und Schmutzpartikeln
befreit. Durch den HYBRID Filter werden ausserdem
zahlreiche Beschwerden durch Allergien wirkungsvoll
gelindert – zum Beispiel Heuschnupfen oder allergische
Reak tionen auf Hausstaub oder Milbenkot.
WISSENSWERTES ZUR LUFTFEUCHTIGKEIT
Die richtige Luftfeuchtigkeit ist für unsere Gesundheit
von grosser Bedeutung. Trockene Raumluft führt im Winter zu rissiger, juckender Haut. Die Augen und der Hals
fühlen sich trocken an, das Wohlbefinden nimmt deutlich
ab. Das gilt nicht nur für Erwachsene, sondern erst recht
für Babys, Kleinkinder und sogar für Haustiere. Trockene
Schleimhäute machen uns im Winter auch anfälliger für
Erkältungen und andere Infektionen.
Mit dem BONECO H680 gehören diese Probleme der Vergangenheit an. Seine intelligente Automatik hält die Luft
sauber und die Luftfeuchtigkeit stets auf dem idealen
Niveau – selbst in grossen Räumen mit einer Fläche von
bis zu 100 Quadratmetern.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Lesen Sie die beigelegten Sicherheitshinweise und
die Bedienungsanleitung vor dem Gebrauch des Geräts aufmerksam durch und bewahren Sie sie für
eine spätere Verwendung auf.
ERSTE REINIGUNG
Produktionsbedingte Rückstände an der Wasserschale
und am Wassertank können zu einer Schaumbildung und
damit zu einem Wasseraustritt führen. Deshalb müssen
beide Elemente vor dem ersten Gebrauch mit warmem
Wasser und Geschirrspülmittel gereinigt werden (siehe
Abbildung 5 auf der rechten Seite). Spülen Sie die Teile
gründlich unter fliessendem Wasser.
ERSTER WASSERWECHSEL
24 Stunden nach der ersten Verwendung leuchtet das
Symbol «Wasserwechsel»:
Wechseln Sie das Wasser im Wassertank und in der
Wasserwanne.
Das Symbol «Wasserwechsel» erlischt automatisch, sobald das Wasser gewechselt worden ist.

BETRIEBSART BEIM ERSTEN EINSCHALTEN
Der BONECO H680 verwendet beim ersten Einschalten
die Betrieb sart «Hybrid»: Dabei wird die Luf t gereinigt und
gleichzeitig befeuchtet. Die Luftfeuchtigkeit kann nach
Belieben reguliert werden (siehe Seite 19).
Die Luftreinigung arbeitet automatisch und ohne Eingrif fe
durch den Benutzer.
Die Lüfterstufe wird durch die Elektronik gesteuert und
passt sich der Umgebung an, um eine möglichst ef fiziente
Reinigung und/oder Befeuchtung zu gewährleisten.
Zu Beginn kann das Lüftergeräusch deutlich hörbar sein;
bereits nach wenigen Minuten wird es jedoch reduziert,
wenn sich die Luftfeuchtigkeit dem gewünschten Wert
nähert.
BETRIEBSART «HYBRID» VERWENDEN
1. Schalten Sie das Gerät ein, indem Sie die -Taste einmal antippen.
Der Partikelsensor startet automatisch mit der Messung
der Luftverschmutzung. Falls die Luftfeuchtigkeit weniger als 50 % beträgt, beginnt das Gerät automatisch mit
der Befeuchtung.
ANZEIGE DER LUFTQUALITÄT
Nach dem Einschalten führt der BONECO H680 eine erste
Luftmessung durch und das Symbol blinkt. Nach der
Luftmessung zeigt das Display die aktuelle Luftqualität
an (siehe Abbildung unten).
Je besser die Luft gereinigt ist, umso mehr Segmente
werden weiss dargestellt.
GRUNDEINSTELLUNGEN
Der BONECO H680 speichert alle Einstellungen, wenn Sie
das Gerät über die -Taste ausschalten.
Die hier beschriebenen Grundeinstellungen (Betriebsart
«Hybrid», Modus «AUTO» usw.) lassen sich jederzeit wiederherstellen. Trennen Sie das Gerät für ca. 10 Sekunden
vom Stromnetz, indem Sie das Netzkabel aus der Steckdose ziehen.

In der Betriebsart «Luftbefeuchtung» ist die Verwendung
des HYBRID Filters optional.
1. Drücken Sie die Taste , bis nur noch die Anzeige
für die Luftfeuchtigkeit und die Lüfterstufe angezeigt
werden.
2. Um zurück zur Betriebsart «Hybrid» zu wechseln, drücken Sie solange die Taste , bis der Luftreiniger und
der Luftbefeuchter gleichzeitig aktiv sind.
In der Betriebsart «Luftbefeuchtung» kann der BONECO
H680 auch ohne HYBRID Filter verwendet werden. Beim
Wechsel auf die Betriebsart «Hybrid» oder «Luftreinigung» blinkt auf dem Display das folgende Symbol, wenn
der HYBRID Filter nicht eingesetzt ist:

In der Betriebsart «Luftreinigung» wird die Luft nicht befeuchtet.
1. Drücken Sie die Taste , bis nur noch die Anzeige für
die Luftqualität und die Lüfterstufe angezeigt werden.
2. Um zurück zur Betriebsart «Hybrid» zu wechseln, drücken Sie solange die Taste , bis der Luftreiniger und
der Luftbefeuchter gleichzeitig aktiv sind.
In der Betriebsart «Luftreinigung» kann der BONECO
H680 auch ohne Wasser verwendet werden. Beim Wechsel auf die Betriebsart «Hybrid» oder «Luftbefeuchtung»
blinkt auf dem Display das folgende Symbol, wenn der
Wasser tank leer ist:

DIE MODI
In allen drei Betriebsarten «Hybrid», «Luftreinigung» und
«Luftbefeuchtung» stehen drei verschiedene Modi zur
Auswahl: , und .
MODUS WECHSELN
1. Wechseln Sie zwischen den Modi , und ,
indem Sie wahlweise:
• mehrmals die Taste auf der Fernbedienung drücken
• mehrmals die Taste auf dem Tastenfeld des Geräts
drücken
MODUS «AUTO»
Im Modus verwendet der BONECO H680 alle Lüfterstufen zwischen 1 bis 6. Die voreingestellte Luftfeuchtigkeit beträgt 50 %.
MODUS «SLEEP»
Im Modus kann der BONECO H680 auch nachts
im Schlafzimmer verwendet werden. Das Gerät arbeitet
vollautomatisch auf der tiefsten Lüfterstufe 1, um das
Betriebsgeräusch zu minimieren. Die voreingestellte
Luftfeuchtigkeit beträgt 45 %.
MODUS «BABY»
Der Modus verwendet die Lüfterstufen 1 bis 4 und
erhöht die Luftfeuchtigkeit auf 60 %. Dieser Wert eignet
sich ideal für die Verwendung im Kinderzimmer, da bei
Babys und Kleinkindern eine höhere Luftfeuchtigkeit
empfohlen wird. Der Lüfter arbeitet ausserdem so leise,
dass ein Babyphone nicht darauf anspricht.

DIE OPTIMALE LUFTFEUCHTIGKEIT
Die empfohlene Luftfeuchtigkeit liegt zwischen 40% und
60%. Die Einstellung ab Werk beträgt 50%. Im Idealfall
befindet sich die Anzeige für die aktuelle Luftfeuchtigkeit
im Bereich «OK»:
Die von Ihnen eingestellte Luftfeuchtigkeit bleibt auch
dann gespeichert, wenn Sie das Gerät ausschalten.
LUFTFEUCHTIGKEIT REGULIEREN
1. Drücken Sie die Tasten und , um die Luftfeuchtigkeit nach Ihren Wünschen einzustellen.
Auf dem Displ ay wird der Hinweis («gewünscht»)
eingeblendet. Wenn Sie die Pfeiltasten nicht mehr drücken, wechselt der Hinweis nach wenigen Sekunden zu
(«aktuell»). Jetzt zeigt das Display wieder die
aktuelle Luftfeuchtigkeit.
MAXIMALE BEFEUCHTUNG
Drücken Sie die Taste , bis der Hinweis «Co» angezeigt
wird (für «Continuous»). Jetzt arbeitet der Befeuchter unabhängig von der gemessenen Luftfeuchtigkeit.

LÜFTERSTUFE REGULIEREN
1. Drücken Sie einmal die Taste . Die Anzeige für die
Lüfterstufe blinkt.
2. Drücken Sie die Tasten und , um die Lüfterstufe
anzupassen.
3. Um wieder in den Modus zu wechseln, drücken
Sie die Taste am Gerät, bis auf dem Display der
Hinweis angezeigt wird. Alternativ können Sie
auch die Taste auf der Fernbedienung verwenden.
POWER-STUFE (P)
Die maximale Power-Stufe (P) kann nur manuell angewählt werden. Sie empfiehlt sich, wenn die Raumluft in
möglichst kurzer Zeit befeuchtet und/oder gereinigt werden soll. Drücken Sie dazu wiederholt die Taste , bis in
der Anzeige die Lüfterstufe «P» eingeblendet wird (siehe
Abbildung in der linken Spalte).

TIMER-FUNKTION

Die Timer-Funktion kann in allen Betriebsarten und mit
allen Modi verwendet werden. Mit der Timer-Funktion
können Sie festlegen, wie lange der BONEC O H680 laufen
soll, bevor er sich automatisch abschaltet (OFF-Timer).
Alternativ können Sie festlegen, nach welcher Zeit sich
das Gerät automatisch einschalten soll (ON-Timer).
Verwenden Sie diese Funktion zum Beispiel, um den
BONECO H680 vor Ihrer Rückkehr zu aktivieren, damit
Sie zuhause ein optimales Wohnklima erwartet.
OFF-TIMER EINSTELLEN
1. Schalten Sie den BONECO H680 mit der Taste ein.
2. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Betriebseinstellung und
den gewünschten Modus.
3. Drücken Sie einmal die Taste .
4. Verwenden Sie die Tasten und , um die Dauer des
Betriebs (1 bis 12 Stunden) einzustellen.
Das Gerät läuft nun für die angegebene Zeit und schaltet
sich anschliessend aus.
5. Um den OFF-Timer vorzeitig zu deaktivieren, drücken
Sie die -Taste erneut und wählen Sie . Alternativ
können Sie den BONECO H680 mit der Taste ausschalten.
ON-TIMER EINSTELLEN
1. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Betriebseinstellung und
den gewünschten Modus.
2. Schalten Sie den BONECO H680 mit der Taste aus.
3. Drücken Sie einmal die Taste .
4. Verwenden Sie die Tasten und , um die Startvorwahlzeit (1 bis 12 Stunden) einzustellen.
Der BONECO H680 schaltet sich nach der definierten Zeit
ein und arbeitet im gewählten Programm.
5. Um den ON-Timer vorzeitig zu deaktivieren, drücken
Sie die -Taste erneut und wählen Sie . Alternativ
können Sie den BONECO H680 mit der Taste einschalten.

DISPLAY-LOCK
Das Display des BONECO H680 kann gegen versehentliche Eingaben geschützt werden. Verwenden Sie diese
Funktion zum Beispiel, um Eingaben durch spielende
Kinder zu verhindern.
DISPLAY-LOCK AKTIVIEREN
1. Drücken Sie solange die -Taste, bis der Signalton
ertönt.
Das Display zeigt für einige Sekunden den Hinweis «LC»
(LOCK) und wechselt danach wieder zur ursprünglichen
Anzeige. Der Hinweis «LC» wird bei jeder Berührung für
einige Sekunden angezeigt.

1. Drücken Sie solange die -Taste, bis der Signalton
ertönt.
Das Display ist nun entriegelt. Die Einstellungen können
wieder geändert werden.

VERWENDUNG VON DUFTSTOFFEN
Innerhalb des BONECO H680 befindet sich der Duftstoffbehälter für die Beigabe von Duftstoffen in Form von
ätherischen Ölen.
Der Duftstoffbehälter ist aus einem speziellen Mate-
rial gefertigt. Geben Sie ätherische Öle und andere
Duftstoffe nie direkt in den Wassertank oder in die
Wasserwanne. Bereits kleine Mengen reichen aus,
um das Gerät irreparabel zu beschädigen. Diese
Schäden werden nicht durch die Garantie abgedeckt.
DUFTSTOFFE HINZUGEBEN
1. Entfernen Sie die Frontabdeckung.
2. Entfernen Sie den Filterhalter zusammen mit dem
Filter.
3. Geben Sie den Duftstoff in den dafür vorgesehenen
Duftstoffbehälter.
4. Setzen Sie den Filterhalter und die Frontabdeckung
ein.

Der BONECO H680 sollte aus hygienischen Gründen in
regelmässigen Abständen gereinigt und entkalkt werden.
Eine anstehende Reinigung wird auf dem Display durch
dieses Symbol angezeigt:
Entfernen Sie vor dem Entkalkungsvorgang unbe-
dingt den Ionic Silver Stick®.
VORBEREITUNGEN
1. Entfernen Sie die Frontabdeckung und den Wassertank auf der Rückseite.
2. Entfernen Sie die Filterhalterung mitsamt dem Filter.
3. Ziehen Sie die Wasserwanne heraus und entfernen Sie
die Trommel mit der Verdunstermatte.
4. Entleeren Sie die Wasser wanne sowie den Wasser tank
und entnehmen Sie den Ionic Silver Stick®.
5. Stellen Sie die Trommel zurück in die Wasserwanne
und setzen Sie das Gerät in der umgekehrten Reihenfolge zusammen.

ENTKALKUNG
1. Füllen Sie den Tank zur Hälfte mit warmem Leitungswasser und geben Sie 2 Beutel CalcOff hinzu.
2. Starten Sie den Entkalkungsmodus, indem Sie auf
dem Bedienfeld des BONECO H680 die Taste
während 5Sekunden drücken. Ändern Sie bei Bedarf
die Entkalkungsdauer über die Tasten und .
Das Gerät entkalkt sich nun selbständig.
Nach abgeschlossener Entkalkung erlischt das Reinigungssymbol auf dem Display automatisch.
Jetzt signalisiert das blinkende Symbol, dass das Wasser
im Gerät ersetzt werden muss:
REINIGUNG DER INNENTEILE
Nach jeder Entkalkung ist zwingend eine Reinigung der
Innenteile notwendig (siehe nächste Seite).

ENTKALKUNGSZEIT ÄNDERN
Die Grundeinstellung für die Entkalkung beträgt 4 Stunden. Um die Entkalkung zu intensivieren oder zu verkürzen, regulieren Sie die Entkalkungsdauer über die Tasten

WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung eine Reinigungsbürste

Schimmel im Inneren des BONECO H680 kann die
Luft verunreinigen und die Gesundheit beeinträchtigen. Er muss deshalb unbedingt entfernt werden.
Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung keinen Alkohol und
keine aggressiven Reinigungsmittel.
Reinigen Sie den BONECO H680 nicht im Geschirr-
spüler. Die Teile können sich durch die hohen Temperaturen verformen und unbrauchbar werden. Solche Beschädigungen sind nicht durch die Garantie
abgedeckt.
WASSERTANK
1. Füllen Sie den Wassertank zur Hälfte mit warmem
Wasser und geben Sie ein wenig Spülmittel hinzu.
2. Reinigen Sie das Innere des Wassertanks gründlich
von Hand oder mit einer geeigneten Reinigungsbürste.

PARTIKELSENSOR
Der Partikelsensor erkennt die Luftbelastung im Raum,
indem er den vorbeiziehenden Luftstrom analysiert. Mit
der Zeit kann es zu Verschmutzungen kommen, die die
Messgenauigkeit beeinträchtigen.
Die Klappe über dem Partikelsensor muss im Betrieb geschlossen sein, damit die Messung korrekt ist. Sie sollte
nur geöffnet werden, um den Sensor zu reinigen.
1. Reinigen Sie mit einem feuchten Watte stäbchen die
Linse des Sensors.
2. Trocknen Sie den Sensor mit einem trockenen Wattestäbchen.
GERÄT ZUSAMMENSETZEN
Nach abgeschlossener Reinigung kann der BONECO

HYBRID FILTER ERSETZEN
1. Entfernen Sie die Frontabdeckung des BONECO H680.

3. Entnehmen Sie den verbrauchten HYBRID Filter und
entsorgen Sie ihn mit dem regulären Hausmüll.

Congratulations on your purchase of the BONECO H680.
Its hybrid design cleans and humidifies room air in one
step. Its smart control system keeps operating noise
level to a minimum, even allowing you to use the BONECO
H680 in a bedroom or baby's room.
The BONECO H680 is designed for convenient, fully
automated operation. However, you can adjust all of its
features ac cording to your preferences and requirement s.
This manual shows you how you can create your own
comfortable climate.
RELIEF FROM ALLERGIES
The BONECO H680 is equipped with a triple filter system
that rids the air of odors as well as dust, pollen and contaminants. The HYBRID filter also effectively alleviates
many forms of discomfort caused by allergies, such as
hay fever or allergic reactions to dust mites and household dust.
VALUABLE INFORMATION ABOUT HUMIDITY
The right humidity is very important for our health. Dry
room air in winter leads to skin that cracks and itches. It
makes your eyes and throat feel dr y while significantly affecting physical comfort. Not only does this affect adults,
it is especially true for babies, small children and even
pets. Dry mucous membranes in winter also make us
more prone to colds and other infections.
The BONECO H680 makes these problems a distant
memory. Its intelligent automatic controls always keep
the air clean and the humidity at the ideal level, even in
large rooms with an area of up to 100 square meters
(1080 square feet).
Regardless of whether it is summer or winter: You

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using the device, carefully read through the
enclosed safety notes and operating manual and
keep them for later use.
FIRST CLEANING
Production-related residue on the water tray and water
tank may lead to foaming, and thereby to water escaping.
For this reason, before the first use, both elements must
be cleaned with warm water and dishwashing detergent
(see Figure 5 on the right side). Thoroughly rinse the parts
under running water.
FIRST WATER CHANGE
24 hours after the first use, the “Water change” symbol
will illuminate:
Change the water in the water tank and in the water base.
The “Water change” symbol will automatically go out as
soon as the water has been replaced.

THE “HYBRID” OPERATING MODE (AIR HUMIDIFICATION AND AIR PURIFICATION)

OPERATING MODE AT INITIAL START-UP
The BONECO H680 uses the “Hybrid” operating mode
when being switched on for the first time: This operating
mode cleans the air while humidifying it at the same time.
The humidity can be regulated at will (see page 51).
Air purification works automatically and without user
interaction.
The fan level is controlled by the electronics and adapts
to the environment to ensure the most efficient cleaning
and/or humidification possible.
Fan noise may be clearly audible at first; it will decrease
after a few minutes, however, once the humidity gets
closer to the desired value.
USING THE “HYBRID” OPERATING MODE
1. Switch the appliance on by tapping the button once.
The particle sensor automatically begins measuring the
amount of dirt in the air. The appliance starts the humidifying pr ocess automaticall y if humidity is below 50% .
AIR QUALITY INDICATOR
After being switched on, the BONECO H680 carries out
an initial air measurement and the symbol flashes.
After measuring the air, the display shows the current air
quality (see figure below).
The cleaner the air is, the more segments are shown in
white.
BASIC SETTINGS
The BONECO H680 saves all of the settings if you switch
off the appliance using the button.
The basic settings described here (“Hybrid” operating
mode, “AUTO” comfort mode, etc.) can be restored at
any time. Disconnect the appliance from the power outlet
for about 10 seconds by unplugging the power cord from
the power outlet.

both shown as active at the same time.
The BONECO H680 can also be used without a HYBRID
filter in the “Air humidification” operating mode. When

mode, the following symbol flashes on the display if a
HYBRID filter is not inserted:
“AIR PURIFICATION” OPERATING MODE
The air is not humidified in the “Air purification” operating mode.

COMFORT MODES
There are three different comfort modes available in each
of the three “Hybrid”, “Air purification” and “Air humidification” operating modes: , and .
SWITCHING THE COMFORT MODE
1. Switch between the , and comfort
modes by either:
• Pressing the button on the remote control repeat-
edly
• Pressing the button on the keypad on the appliance
repeatedly
“AUTO” COMFORT MODE
In comfort mode, the BONECO H680 uses all of the
fan levels between 1 and 6. The preset humidity is 50%.
“SLEEP” COMFORT MODE
In comfort mode, the BONECO H680 can even be
used in a bedroom at night. The appliance automatically
operates at the lowest fan level of 1 to keep operating
noise level to a minimum. The preset humidity is 45%.
“BABY” COMFORT MODE
The comfort mode uses fan level 1 through 4 and
increases the humidity to 60 %. This value is ideal for
use in a nursery or baby's room since higher humidity
is recommended for babies and small children. The fan
also operates quietly enough that it will not trigger a baby
monitor.

MANUALLY REGULATING HUMIDITY AND FAN LEVEL
PERFECT HUMIDITY
The recommended humidity level is between 40% and
60%. The default setting is 50%. The indicator for current
humidity should ideally be within the “OK” range:
The humidity you set then stays saved if you switch off
the appliance.
CONTROLLING HUMIDITY
1. Press the and buttons to set the humidity as desired.
The notice is shown on the display. Once you
stop pressing the arrow keys, the notice switches to
after a few seconds. Now the display now
shows the current humidity again.
MAXIMUM HUMIDIFICATION
Press the button until the notice “Co” (for “Continuous”) is displayed. Now the humidifier operates independently of the measured humidity.

REGULATING THE FAN LEVEL
1. Press the button once. The indicator for the fan
level flashes.
2. Press the and buttons to adjust the fan level.
3. To switch back to the comfort mode, press the
button on the appliance until the notice is shown
on the display. Alternatively, you can also use the
button on the remote control.
POWER MODE (P)
The maximum power mode (P) can only be selected manually. We recommend using it when room air has to be
cleaned and/or humidified in the shortest possible time.
To activate the maximum power level, press the button
repeatedly until the fan level “P” is shown in the indicator
(see figure in the left column).

The timer function can be used in every operating mode
together with every comfort mode. T he timer function lets
you determine how long the BONECO H680 should run
before it switches off automatically (OFF timer).
Alternatively, you can specify a time for when the appliance should switch on automatically (ON timer). Use
this function, for example, to activate the BONECO H680
before you return home, so that you have the perfect living climate waiting for you.
SETTING THE OFF TIMER
1. Switch on the BONECO H680 using the button.
2. Select the desired operating setting and the desired
comfort mode.
3. Press the button once.
4. Use the and buttons to set how long the appliance operates (1 to 12 hours).
The appliance then runs for the specified period and then
switches itself off.
5. To deactivate the OFF timer early, press the button
again and select . Alternatively, you can switch off
the BONECO H680 using the button.
SETTING THE ON TIMER
1. Select the desired operating setting and the desired
comfort mode.
2. Switch off the BONECO H680 using the button.
3. Press the button once.
4. Use the and buttons to set the start preselection
time (1 to 12 hours).
The BONECO H680 switches on after the defined time
and operates with the selected program.
5. To deactivate the ON timer early, press the button
again and select . Alternatively, you can switch on
the BONECO H680 using the button.

The BONECO H680 display can be set up to prevent accidental entries. Use this function to prevent unintent ional
entries, such as those from children playing near the appliance.
ACTIVATING THE DISPLAY LOCK
1. Press the button until you hear the indicator tone.
The display shows an “LC” (LOCK) notice for a few seconds and then returns to the original displayed content.
The “LC” notice is displayed for a few seconds each time
the controls are pressed.

Inside the BONECO H680 there is a fragrance container
for adding fragrances in the form of essential oils.
This fragrance container is made of a special mate-
rial. Never add essential oils and other fragrances
directly into the water tank or water base. It only
takes a small amount to damage the appliance irreparably. Such damage is not covered by the warranty.
ADDING FRAGRANCES
1. Remove the front cover.
2. Remove the filter holder along with the filter.
3. Insert the fragrance into the fragrance container provided for this.
4. Insert the filter holder and front cover.

For hygienic reasons, the BONECO H680 has to be
cleaned and descaled at regular intervals. An upcoming
need for cleaning is indicated on the display with this
symbol:
Be sure to remove the Ionic Silver Stick® before the
descaling process.
PREPARING FOR FIRST USE
1. Remove the front cover and the water tank on the rear
side.
2. Remove the filter holder together with the filter.
3. Pull the water base out and remove the drum with the
evaporator mat.
4. Empty the water base and water tank and remove the
Ionic Silver Stick®.
5. Set the drum back into the water base and put the appliance back together by following the steps in reverse
order.

DESCALING
1. Fill the tank halfway with hot tap water and add two
packets of CalcOff.
2. Start descaling mode by pressing the button on
the BONECO H680 keypad for 5 seconds. Change the
duration of descaling as needed using the and
buttons.
The appliance then descales itself automatically.
After descaling has finished, the cleaning symbol on the
display goes away automatically.
Then a flashing symbol indicates that the water in the
appliance has to be replaced:
CLEANING THE INTERIOR PARTS
After each descaling, it is absolutely necessary to clean
the interior parts (see the next page).

CHANGING THE DESCALING TIME
The default setting for the descaling time is 4 hours. To
intensify or shorten the descaling, adjust the duration of
descaling using the and buttons.
• Shorten the duration of descaling if the BONECO H680
is only slightly dirty.

IMPORTANT NOTES
Use a cleaning brush and a damp cloth for cleaning. Always add a small amount of dishwashing detergent to
the hot water.
Always unplug the BONECO H680 from the power
outlet before you start cleaning or doing maintenance! Failure to do so can result in electric shock
and fatal injury!
Mold inside your BONECO H680 can add impurities
to the air and may adversely affect your health. Be
sure to remove any you find for this reason.
Do not use alcohol or corrosive cleaning agents for
cleaning.
Do not clean the BONECO H680 in a dishwasher.
High temperatures can deform the parts and make
them unusable. This damage is not covered by the
warranty.
WATER TANK
1. Fill the water tank halfway with hot water and add a
small amount of dishwashing detergent.
2. Thoroughly clean the inside of the water tank by hand
or with a suitable cleaning brush.
3. Also clean the cover.
WATER BASE
1. Pull the water base out of the BONECO H680.
2. Remove the drum with the evaporator mat.
3. Take the Ionic Silver Stick® out of the water base.
4. Clean the water base and all of the parts inside. These
can be removed for cleaning.

PARTICLE SENSOR
The particle sensor detects the amount of dirt in the air in
the room by analyzing a passing air flow. Over time, dirt
can accumulate and affect measuring accuracy.
The flap over the particle sensor has to be closed during
operation to ensure the measurement is correct. It should
only be opened to clean the sensor.
1. Clean the sensor lens using a damp cotton swab.
2. Dry the sensor with a dry cotton swab.
ASSEMBLING THE APPLIANCE
Once cleaning is complete, you can put the BONECO
H680 back together. When doing so, pay attention to how

to ensure that dirt and pollen continue to be filtered from

1. Remove the front cover of the BONECO H680.

conception hybride, il purifie et humidifie l’air ambiant en
une seule opération. Sa commande intelligente réduit à
un minimum l’émission sonore, de sorte que l’on peut
même utiliser le BONECO H680 dans une chambre à coucher ou une chambre d’enfant.
Le BONECO H680 est conçu pour un fonctionnement entièrement automatique et sa ns complication. Vous pouvez

SOULAGEMENT D’ALLERGIES

PREMIER NETTOYAGE
Les résidus liés à la production sur le bac à eau et le
réservoir d’eau peuvent provoquer une formation de
mousse, occasionnant par conséquent une fuite d’eau.
C’est pourquoi il convient de nettoyer ces deux éléments
à l’eau chaude avec du liquide vaisselle avant la première
utilisation (voir figure5 sur la page de droite). Rincez bien
les pièces à l’eau courante.

MARCHE
Le BONECO H680 utilise lors de la première mise en
marche le mode opératoire «Hybrid»: ce faisant, l’air est
purifié et humidifié en même temps. L’humidité de l’air
peut être réglée à la convenance de l’utilisateur (voir la
page 83).
La purification de l’air fonctionne automatiquement, sans
interventions de l’utilisateur.
Le degré de ventilation est commandé par l’électronique
et s’ajuste à l’environnement, afin de garantir la plus
grande efficacité possible de la purification et /ou de l’humidification.
Au début, il se peut que le bruit de ventilation soit nettement audible ; mais après quelques minutes, le bruit
diminue lorsque l’humidité de l’air se rapproche de la
valeur souhaitée.
UTILISATION DU MODE OPÉRATOIRE «HYBRID»
1. Mettez l’appareil en marche en effleurant une fois la
touche .
Le capteur de particules démarre automatiquement la
mesure des impuretés de l’air. Si l’humidité de l’air est
inférieure à 5 0%, l’appareil commence automatiquement
l’humidification.
AFFICHAGE DE LA QUALITÉ DE L’AIR
Après la mise en marche, le BONECO H680 exécute une
première mesure de l’air et l’icône clignote. Après
la mesure de l’air, l’affichage indique la qualité de l’air
actuelle (voir la figure ci-dessous).
Le nombre de segments blancs est d’autant plus grand
que l’air est bien purifié.
RÉGLAGES DE BASE
Le BONECO H680 enregistre tous les réglages, quand
vous éteignez l’appareil avec la touche .
Il est possible à tout moment de restaurer les réglages
de base (mode opératoire «Hybrid», mode «Auto», etc.)
décrits ici. Débranchez l’appareil du secteur pendant
10secondes environ, en retirant le cordon d’alimentation
de la prise secteur.

MODE «AUTO»
En mode le BONECO H680 utilise tous les degrés
de ventilation de 1 à 6. L’humidité de l’air préréglée est
de 50%.
MODE «SLEEP»
En mode , le BONECO H680 est également utilisable
la nuit dans une chambre à coucher. L’appareil fonctionne
de façon entièrement automatique au degré de ventilation1, le plus bas, afin que l’émission sonore soit minime.
L’humidité de l’air préréglée est de 45%.
MODE «BABY»
Le mode utilise les degrés de ventilation 1 à 4 et
élève l’humidité de l’air afin qu’elle soit de 60 %. Cette
valeur s’avère idéale pour l’utilisation dans une chambre
d’enfant, car une humidité de l’air plus élevée est recommandée pour les bébés et les jeunes enfants. De plus,
le ventilateur fait tellement peu de bruit qu’il ne fait pas
réagir un babyphone.

L’HUMIDITÉ DE L’AIR OPTIMALE
L’humidité de l’air recommandée est comprise entre 40%
et 60%. Le réglage d’usine est de 50%. Idéalement, l’affichage de l’humidité de l’air actuelle est dans la zone
«OK»:
L’humidité de l’air que vous avez réglée reste en mémoire
quand vous éteignez l’appareil.
RÉGLAGE DE L’HUMIDITÉ DE L’AIR
1. Appuyez sur les touches et pour régler l’humidité
de l’air comme vous le souhaitez.
L’indication («souhaité») apparaît à l’écran.
Quand vous n’appuyez plus sur les touches fléchées, l’indication devient au bout de quelques secondes
(«actuel»). L’écran affiche à nouveau l’humidité de l’air
actuelle.
HUMIDIFICATION MAXIMALE
Appuyez sur la touche jusqu’à ce que l’écran affiche
l’indication «Co» («Continuous», en continu). L’humidificateur fonctionne maintenant indépendamment de l’humidité de l’air mesurée.
RÉGLAGE DU DEGRÉ DE VENTILATION
1. Appuyez une fois sur la touche . L’affichage du degré de ventilation clignote.
2. Appuyez sur le s touches et , afin d ’ajus ter le degré
de ventilation.

NIVEAU DE PUISSANCE (P)
Le niveau de puissance (P) maximal ne peut être sélectionné que manuellement. Ce niveau de puissance est
recommandé quand l’air ambiant doit être humidifié et /ou
purifié le plus rapidement pos sible. Pour ce faire, appuyez
plusieurs fois sur la touche jusqu’à ce que l’écran affiche le degré de ventilation «P» (voir la figure dans la
colonne de gauche).

La fonction Minuteur peut être utilisée dans tous les modes opératoires et avec tous les modes. Avec la fonction
Minuteur, vous pouvez déterminer combien de temps le
BONECO H680 doit fonctionner avant sa déconnexion
automatique (OFF-Timer).
Une autre façon de procéder consiste à choisir la durée après laquelle l’appareil doit automatiquement se
mettre en marche (ON-Timer). Utilisez cette fonction par
exemple pour activer le BONECO H680 avant votre retour,
afin qu’une ambiance optimale vous attende à la maison.
RÉGLAGE DU MINUTEUR D’ARRÊT (OFF-TIMER)
1. Mettez le BONECO H680 en marche avec la touche .
2. Choisissez le réglage de fonctionnement et le mode.

Le BONECO H680 renferme le récipient pour substances
odorantes permettant l’ajout de substances odorantes
sous forme d’huiles essentielles.
Le récipient pour substances odorantes est fabriqué
dans un matériau spécial. Ne mettez jamais les
huiles essentielles et autres substances odorantes
directement dans le réservoir d’eau ou le bac à eau.
De petites quantités suffiraient à endommager l’appareil irrémédiablement. De tels dommages ne sont
pas couverts par la garantie.
AJOUT DE SUBSTANCES ODORANTES
1. Enlevez le couvercle frontal.
2. Retirez le porte-filtre ainsi que le filtre.
3. Ajoutez la substance odorante dans le récipient prévu
à cet effet.
4. Remettez en place le porte-filtre et le couvercle frontal.

Pour des raisons d’hygiène, le BONECO H680 doit être
nettoyé et détartré à intervalles réguliers. Un nettoyage
en suspens s’affiche à l’écran au moyen de l’icône de
nettoyage suivante:
Avant d’effectuer le détartrage, il faut impérative-
ment enlever le bâtonnet Ionic Silver Stick®.
ACTIONS PRÉPARATOIRES
1. Enlevez le couvercle frontal et le réservoir d’eau situé
au dos de l’appareil.
2. Enlevez le porte-filtre avec le filtre.
3. Retirez le bac à eau et enlevez le cylindre avec le tapis
d’évaporation.
4. Videz le bac à eau ainsi que le réservoir d’eau et enlevez l’Ionic Silver Stick®.
5. Remettez le cylindre dans le bac à eau et remontez
l’appareil en procédant dans l’ordre inverse.

1. Remplissez le réservoir à moitié avec de l’eau chaude
du robinet et versez le contenu de 2 sachets de
CalcOff.
2. Démarrez le mode de détartrage en appuyant pendant
5 secondes sur la touche du panneau de commande du BONECO H680. Modifiez si besoin est la
durée de détartrage en utilisant les touches et .
L’appareil se détartre alors tout seul.
Quand le détartrage est terminé, l’icône du nettoyage
disparaît automatiquement de l’écran.
L’icône clignotante indique maintenant qu’il faut remplacer l’eau contenue dans l’appareil:

MODIFICATION DU TEMPS DE DÉTARTRAGE
Le réglage de base du détartrage est de 4heures. Pour
augmenter ou réduire le détartrage, réglez la durée de
détartrage avec les touches et .
• Réduisez la durée de détartrage si le BONECO H680
n’est que légèrement sale.
• Augmentez la durée de détartrage si le BONECO H680
est très encrassé. La durée de détartrage maximale
est de 12heures.

REMARQUES IMPORTANTES
Pour nettoyer l’appareil, utilisez une brosse à vaisselle et
un chiffon humide. Ajoutez toujours à l’eau chaude un peu
de liquide vaisselle.
Avant de commencer le nettoyage ou la mainte-
nance, débranchez toujours le BONECO H680 du
secteur ! Le non-respect de cette instruction peut
causer des chocs électriques et mettre des vies en
danger!
La moisissure à l’intérieur du BONECO H680 peut
rendre l’air impur et nuire à la santé. C’est pourquoi
il est impératif de l’enlever.
P our le nettoyage, n’utilisez pas d’alcool ni de produit
de nettoyage agressif.
Il ne faut pas nettoyer le BONECO H680 dans un
lave-vaisselle. Les températures élevées déformeraient les pièces de l’appareil et les rendraient inutilisables. La garantie ne couvre pas ces dommages.
RÉSERVOIR D’EAU
1. Remplissez le réservoir d’eau à moitié avec de l’eau
chaude et ajoutez un peu de liquide vaisselle.
2. Nettoyez à fond l’intérieur du réservoir d’eau à la main
ou avec une brosse à vaisselle appropriée.
3. Nettoyez aussi le couvercle.
BAC À EAU
1. Retirez le bac à eau du BONECO H680.
2. Enlevez le cylindre et le tapis d’évaporation.
3. Sortez l’Ionic Silver Stick® du bac à eau.
4. Nett oyez le bac à eau et toutes les pièce s qu’il contient.
Ceux-ci peuvent être retirés pour le nettoyage.

1. Retirez le tapis d’évaporation du cylindre.
2. Lavez le cylindre avec du liquide vaisselle et une brosse

1. Lavez à fond et foulez le tapis d’évaporation en utili sant
de l’eau chaude et un liquide vaisselle.
2. Rincez le tapis d’évaporation à l’eau chaude et claire
jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y ait plus de mousse.
3. Installez le tapis d’évaporation lavé dans le cylindre
directement après le lavage.

CAPTEUR DE PARTICULES
Le capteur de particules détecte la pollution de l’air ambiant en analysant le flux d’air qui passe devant lui. Au
cours du temps, un dépôt de salissures peut perturber
l’exactitude des mesures.
Le volet qui recouvre le capteur de particules doit être
fermé pendant le fonctionnement, afin que la mesure soit
correcte. Il ne devrait être ouvert que pour le nettoyage
du capteur.
1. Passez un coton-tige humide sur la lentille du capteur
afin de la nettoyer.
2. Séchez le capteur avec un coton-tige sec.
MONTAGE DE L’APPAREIL
Quand le nettoyage est terminé, vous pouvez remonter le
BONECO H680. Ce faisant, faites attention à la forme du
tapis d’évaporation.

Après environ un an, il faut remplacer le filtre HYBRID
pour garantir que l’air est toujours bien purifié des impuretés et du pollen.
Un remplacement en suspens du filtre HYB RID est signalé
à l’écran par l’icône suivante:
