If there is no salt warning light in the control panel (for some models), you can estimate when to fill the salt into the softener by the number of cycles the dishwasher has run.

Changing theprogramme
Add forgotten dishesin the dishwasher.
Scrapeoffany largeamount of leftover food. Soften remnants ofburnt food inpans, thenload the baskets. Refer to the dishwasherloading instructions.
Press the Programme button until the selected programme lights up. ( See the section entitled Operationg instruction )“”
When the working cycle has finished, the buzzer of the dishwasher will sound 8 times, then stop. Turn off the applianceusingthe ON/OFF button.
If the appliance is switched off during a wash cycle.
Open t he do or care fully. Hotst eam may esc ape when the door is opened!
If the appliance is switched off during a wash cycle, when switched on again, please re-select the washing cycle and operate the dishwasher according to the original Power-on state ).
Switch on the appliance Press the On/Off button to switch on the applianc e,Open the door.
1.Open the door a little to stop the dishwasher.
2.After the spray arms stop working, you can open the door completely.
3.Add the forgotten dishes.
4.Close the door, thedishwasher will start running again after 10 seconds.

1.A runningcycle can only be modified if it has beenrunningfor a short time.Otherwisethe detergent may have already been released and the water already drained. If this is the case, the detergent dispenser must be refilled.
2. Open the door a little to stop thewashing, then press the Program button for more than 3 seconds to cancel the running programme.
3. Select a new programme, then closethe door. The machine will restart after about 10 seconds.

This appliance must be grounded. In the event of a malfunction or breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk of anelectric shock by providing a path of least resistance of electric current. This appliance is equipped with a cordhaving an equipment­grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in the riskof an electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt whether the appliance is properly grounded. Use only detergent and rinse additives designed for an automatic dishwasher. Never use soap, laundry detergent, or hand washing detergent in your dishwasher.Keep these products out of the reach ofchi ldren.
During installation, the powersupplymustnot be excessivelyor dangerously bent or flattened.
Do not tamper with controls.
Do not place any heavy objects the door when it is open. The appliance couldtip forward.

Remove thedoor tothe washing compartmentwhen removing an old dishwasher from service or discarding it.
Dishwasher detergents are strongly alkaline, they can be extremely dangerous if s w a l l owed. Avoid contact with skinand eyes and keep children away from the dishwasher when the door is open.
Check that the detergent comparment isempty after completion of thew ash cycle.

The doorsh ould not be left open, since this could increasethe risk of tripping.
Do not operate your dishwasher unless all enclosure panelsare properly in pla ce. Open the door very carefully if thedishwasher is operating, there is a riskof water squirtingout.

Before using your dishwasher for thefirst time:
The waterso ftener must be set manually, usingthe water hardness dial. The waterso ftener is designed to remove minerals and salts fromt he water,w hich would have a de trimenta l or adverse effecton the operation of the appliance. The higher the content ofth ese minerals and salts, the harder yourw ater is. The softener should be adjusted according to theha rdness of the water inyou r area. Your local WaterAuthority canadvise you onthe hardness of the waterinyour area.
Adjusting SaltConsumption
The dishwasher isde signed to allow for adjustment in the amount of salt consumed based ont he hardness of the waterused. Thisis intendedto optimise and customise the levelo f salt consumption.
1. Unscrewthe cap from thesaltcontainer.
2. There is ar ing on the container with ana rrow on it (see figure ontheside),ifnecessary,rotate the ring in theanticlockwise directionfromth e "-"Settingtoward the" +"si gn,b asedon the hardness of thew ater being used. It is recommendedt hat adju stments should be made in accord ance wit h the followin g sch eme:
WATER SOFT ENER Theh ardness of the water varies from p lace to place. If hard wateri s used int he dishwasher, deposits will form on thedish es and utensils. Thea pplian ce is equipped with asp ecial softener that uses asal t container specifically designed to eliminate lime and minera ls from the wate r.
Contact your local water board forinf ormation on the hardness of your water supply.

1.The salt contai ner must only be refilled when the salt warning light in the control panelcom es on. Depending on how well thes alt dissolve s, the salt warning light mayst ill be on even though the salt container is filled. If there isno salt warning light in the control panel (forso me Models),you can estimate when to fill the salti nto the softener by the cycles that thedi shwashe r has run.
2. If there are spills ofthe salt, a soak or arap id program should be runt o remove the excessive salt.
Always use the salt i ntende d for use with dishwasher. The saltc ont ainer is located beneath the lower basket and should be filled as explained int he follow ing:

Only use saltspe cifically designe d fort he use in d ishwash ers! Every other type of salt not specifically designed for theu se in ad ishwas her, especially table salt, will damage the water softener.In case of damages caused by the use of unsuitable salt the manufacturer does notg ive any warranty nor is liable for any damages caused.
Only fillwi th salt just before starting one of theco mplete washing programs. This will prevent anyg rains of salt or salty water,whi ch may have been spilled, remaining on the bottom ofth e machine for any period of time, which may cause corrosion.
The rinse aid is release d during the fin al rinse to prevent wat er from f orming dr oplets o n your dishe s, which can leave spots andst reaks. It also improvesdry ing by allowing water tor oll offt he dishes. Your dishwasher is designed to useliquidrinseaids.The rinsea iddispenser islocated inside thedoornext tothedetergent dispenser. To fill the dispens er, open the cap and pour the rinse ai d into the dispens er until the level indicat or turn s complete ly black. Thev olume of the rinseai d container is about 110ml.

Function of Rinse Aid
Rinse aid is automatically added during the last rinse, ensuring thorough rinsing, and spo t and streak free drying.
Attention!
Only use brandedrinse aidfor dishwasher. Never fill therinseaiddispenserwithanyo ther substances
(e.g. Dishwasher cleani ng agent, liqu id detergent) . This would damage the appliance.
A Remove the lower basket and then unscrew andremovethecap from thesaltcontainer. B Place theen d of the funnel(suppl ied) into the hole and introduce about 1.5kg of d ishwash er salt. C Fullf illthesaltcontainerw ith water.Itis normal for a small amount of water to come out of the salt container. D Afte r filling the contain er , screw the capt igh tly back clockwise . E Usually,the salt warning light will stop being illumi nated with in 2-6 days after the salt container has been filled wit h
salt.
F Immediately after filling the salt into the salt contain er, awashin g program should be sta rted

Toopen the dispen ser, turn the cap to the "op en" (le ft) arrow an d lift it out. Pour the rinse aid int o the dispe nser, being caref ul not to over fill . Replace the capb y in serting it aligned with "open" arrow and turning itto the closed (right) arrow.

The rinse aid dispenser has six or fours ettings. Always start with the dispenser set on "4". Ifspot s and poor drying are a problem, increa se the amount ofr inse aid dispensed by removing the dispenser lid and rotating the dial to "5".If t he dishes still are notd rying prope rly or are show spots, adjustt he dial to the next higher lever until your dishes are spot-free. The recommended setting is "4". (Factoryvalue is"4".)
Increasethe doseif there are drops of wateror lime spots on thedishes after washing. Reduce i tif thereare sticky whitis hstainson yourdisheso ra bluishfilmon glassware or knifeblades.

Whento Refill the RinseAidDispenser
Ifth ere is no rinse-aid warning light in thec ontrol panel, you can estimate the amount from the c olour ofth e optical level indicator C loca ted next to thec ap. When the rinse-aid container is full, the whole indicator will bed ark .As the rinse-aid diminishes, the size of the dar k dot decreases. You should never let the r inse aid level fal l 1 / 4 full.

Detergents with its chemical ingredient s are necessary to remove dirt,c rush dirt and transpo rt ito ut of the dishwasher.
