The Bogen SPT5A and SP58A are compact, reflex horn-type loudspeakers, designed for one-way or two-way
sound and communications systems.Their wide frequency response assures full-range background music reproduction, making these loudspeakers an excellent choice for multi-purpose applications, indoor or outdoor, for
use in industrial plants, warehouses,schools, construction sites, transportation terminals, and recreational areas.
The SPT5A has a built-in, variable impedance selector switch for matching the speaker power requirements to
a 25V or 70V constant-voltage line.The SP58A has an 8-ohm impedance.
The loudspeakers measure 6" in diameter and 4" deep. Connections are made through a 12" connecting cable.

The loudspeaker shall be a Bogen Model ________
(specify SPT5A or SP58A), or approved equivalent,
reentrant type horn loudspeaker. The frequency
response shall be 250Hz to 14kHz. Rated power
output shall be 7.5 watts, RMS continuous.
Dispersion shall be 120º. Sound pressure level,
measured four feet on axis with 7.5-watt input @
1000Hz, shall be at least 105dB.
Use for SPT5A. The unit shall incorporate a fiveposition weather-sealed switch, to allow matching
the loudspeaker to a 25V or 70V constant-voltage
line. Power handling capacity shall be adjustable at
70V to 7.5, 5, 2.5, 1.25, or 0.65 watts, and at 25V to
1, 0.62, or 0.31 watts.
Use for SP58A. The unit shall have an impedance
of 8 ohms.
The loudspeakers shall have a weatherproof, allmetal housing. An all-purpose mounting bracket
shall provide precise positioning in the vertical and
horizontal planes. Bracket and loudspeaker shall be
finished in textured mocha enamel.The loudspeakers shall measure 6" Dia. by 4" D. Weight shall
