Bogen MCTWA Installation And Use Manual

Two Wire Adapter
Model MCTWA
Installation and Use Manual
Description
The MCTWA is a two-wire adapter card designed for use with Multicom® 2000 systems and Multi-Graphic® rack products. The MCTWA eliminates the need for a third annunciator lead for call switches. It has an added feature of balanced bridge call detection, which virtually eliminates false call-in. Common return wiring eliminates the need for isolated speaker shields.
When used with Multicom 2000 systems, the MCTWA will allow normal, urgent, and emergency signaling on two wires. When used with Multi-Graphic products, the Model SCR25A adapter board is also required. (See
and
1b on back.)
The MCTWA operates from 24V DC, at a maximum of 2.4 watts per adapter. The Bogen RF24A power supply is recommended and can supply power for up to
10 MCTWA boards. (See Figure 2.)
The MCTWA stations can also be configured in the four-wire mode. (See Figure 3.)
