watchdog fault
Possible cause
DC-link voltage is below the limit
values.
– probable reason:
supply voltage too low
– internal frequency converter fault
Net phase missing.
Current measuring has detected, that
current is missing in one motor phase.
– no braking resistor installed
– braking resistor damaged
– brake chopper failure
Heat sink temperature below –10°C.
Heat sink temperature above +90°C.
Excess temperature warning is issued
once the heat sink temperature
exceeds 85°C.
Motor blocking protection has triggered
Motor overheating has been detected
by frequency converter motor temperature model.
Motor overloaded.
Motor underload protection has tripped
Parameter saving error.
– malfunction
– component failure
Due to a power failure changes might
have occurred in the various counter
data.
– malfunction
– component failure
Corrective actions
In case of temporary supply voltage
break reset the fault and restart the
frequency converter.
Check supply voltage.
If it is o.k., an internal fault has
occurred.
Contact your next BOGE dealer.
Check supply voltage and cables.
Check motor cables and motor.
Check braking resistor.
If the resistor is o.k., the chopper is
faulty.
Contact your next BOGE dealer.
Check quantity and flow of cooling air.
Check heat sink for soiling.
Check ambient temperature.
Make sure, that the switching frequency
is not too high in relation to ambient
temperature and motor load.
Check motor.
Reduce motor load.
If no motor overload exists, check the
temperature model parameters.
No special measures necessary.
Check counter data regularly.
Reset fault and restart.
Should the fault reoccur contact your
BOGE dealer.
