PRODUCT SPECIFICATION
Stainless steel, welded, angle frame mirror and shelf, Bobrick
Model B-292 Series.
Mirror shall be framed with one-piece, type-304, stainless steel
angle 3/4" x 3/4" (19 x 19mm). Frame shall be roll-formed
construction with continuous integral stiffener on all sides. Frame
shall have beveled design on front of angle to hold mirror tightly
against frame to prevent exposure to sharp edges. Corners shall
be heliarc welded, ground and polished smooth. Exposed
surfaces shall have satin finish with vertical grain. Stainless steel
shelf shall have 3/4" (19mm) return edges on front and sides.
Front return edge shall be hemmed for additional strength and
safety; unhemmed front edge is not acceptable. Front corners of
shelf shall be heliarc welded, ground, and polished smooth. Shelf
shall be welded to mirror frame and reinforced by a concealed
16-gauge (1.6mm) stainless steel bracket on each end. Exposed
rivet heads, screws, or fasteners of any type on frame or shelf are
not acceptable. Shelves over 36" (914mm) length shall be
constructed of 18-gauge (1.3mm) stainless steel. Shelves over
30" (762mm) length shall have concealed 16-gauge (1.6mm)
stainless steel brackets to support shelf. Mirror shall be No. 1
quality, 1/4" (6mm) float/plate glass. All mirror edges shall be
protected with plastic filler strips. Mirror back shall be protected
by full-size, shock-absorbing, water-resistant, non-abrasive 3/16"
(5mm) thick polyethylene padding. Galvanized steel back shall
have integral horizontal hanging brackets located at top and bottom
for mounting on concealed one-piece rectangular wall hanger.
Galvanized steel back shall be fastened to frame with concealed
screws to permit glass replacement; attachment by rivets or tabs is
not acceptable. Mirror-shelf shall be secured to hanger with
concealed Phillips head locking setscrews in bottom of frame.
