Congratulations on your purchase of the BOB Weather
Shield. It is designed to provide your child protection
from inclement weather. Proper installation and care will
provide years of reliable service.
Before attempting to assemble or use your new
Weather Shield, read and understand these
instructions completely to insure proper assembly
and operation.
If you are unclear on any point, contact your dealer
or BOB before use.
WARNINGS
This product is designed exclusively for use with
BOB Revolution and Stroller Strides Strollers. It is
not intended for use with other strollers or products.
The Weather Shield is made of a non-breathable
material. To avoid danger of suffocation and
excessive temperatures:

Follow all assembly instructions.

Make sure all vents are unobstructed, as shown in
Fig.1.

The Weather Shield is not designed to work with optional
Infant Car Seat Adapter and car seat.

Do not use Weather Shield when temperatures exceed
65oF/18oC. Use in higher temperatures can cause
unsafe conditions inside the Weather Shield.
Never leave child unattended.
.
When not in use, keep out of reach of children.
.
When the Weather Shield is used, the rear canopy flap
must be repositioned as described below to insure
proper airflow and avoid danger of suffocation.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Begin by locating the sun canopy and rear canopy flap
into position to receive the Weather Shield.

B) Pull canopy draw
string in order to gather
material under canopy.

Very important: when
the Weather Shield is
used, the rear canopy
flap must be
repositioned as
described below to
insure proper airflow
and avoid danger of
suffocation.
C) Fold canopy flap
forward and attach to
Velcro on top of canopy
as shown in Fig. 4.
Note: Instructions on
canopy flap also
describe this critical
step.
D) Inspect opening at
back of stroller (see Fig.
5) to make sure the air
passage space between
top of seat back and
canopy is unobstructed.
We recommend
reclining seat back
slightly to optimize
airflow (refer to Reclining
Seat section of stroller
Owners Manual).
2. Position the Weather
Shield on the stroller so
that rear flap drapes
over the back (between
the handlebars) and the
seam above the window
is located over the front
canopy support (see Fig.
6).

3. Stretch the elastic
cord on each side under

the black shock knobs

There is an opening mid
way up each side with
silver fabric on both ends
where the elastic cord is
exposed.
4. Locate the looped
ends of the elastic cord
where they come out of
the back flap of the
Weather Shield. Each
has a loop with a cord
lock. One side at a time,
attach the looped end of
the elastic cord around
the black shock knob (on
the same side as loop)
as shown in Fig. 7 (right
side shown).

8. Once your child is
secured in the safety
harness (refer to your
stroller owners manual
for proper use of the
safety harness system),
release the Weather
Shield from canopy and
re-secure under the lip
on the stroller nose (see
Fig. 8).

The cord locks allow the
loop to be enlarged or
reduced thereby
adjusting the tension on
the cord.
5. The front of the
Weather Shield attaches
to the lower frame at the
nose of the stroller.
Position lower air scoop
so that it is centered left
to right over the nose of
the stroller. Now, hook
the elastic edge of the
shield under lip on the
nose of the stroller as
shown in Fig. 8.
6. Make sure the elastic
edge of the Weather
Shield is wrapped under
the frame tube at the
footwell area as shown
in Fig. 9.
After completion of
Weather Shield
installation, confirm back
vents are aligned with
space between top of
seat back and canopy
and opening is free of
obstruction (see Fig. 1).
7. To place your child in
the stroller, pull the front
of the Weather Shield off
the stroller then lift it up
and over the forward
edge of canopy (see Fig.
10). This will temporarily
hold the Weather Shield
out of your way while you

LIMITED WARRANTY:
BOB Trailers Inc. takes pride in its workmanship and
strives to manufacture the best products possible.
Therefore, we warranty the Revolution Weather Shield
against defects in material and workmanship subject to
the conditions listed below. Since no product is
indestructible, it does not cover defects attributable to or
resulting from normal wear, abuse or alteration.
The Revolution Weather Shield is warranted for one
year from the date of original purchase.
Warranty is only valid for the original purchaser.
Proof of purchase is required to exercise this warranty.
Labor and freight charges are not included.
Normal wear, neglect, abuse, accidents, improper use
are not covered by this warranty.
Warranty claims must be made through an authorized
dealer.
This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of
the defective part. BOB shall in no event be responsible
for consequential or special damages.
This limited warranty is the only express or implied
warranty applicable to BOB. Any implied warranties,
including warranties of merchantability and fitness shall
be limited in scope and duration in accordance with
this limited warranty.
