G-BODY DRIVESHAFT LOOP INSTALLATION

Part # DSL003

Tools Required:

Jack Jack Stands
13mm wrench 11mm wrench

Installation:

1. Lift the vehicle and support with jack stands under the frame rails.

2. Using the 11mm wrench, remove the driveshaft and tape the cups onto the u-joint to avoid

needle bearing loss.

3. Using the 13mm wrench, remove the OE chassis brace that is located just behind the

transmission tail-shaft.

4. Place the driveshaft loop into position where the OE brace was bolted with the loop facing

upwards. Insert the bolts and tighten.

5. Reinstall the driveshaft and tighten the u-joint bolts.

6. Lower vehicle.
