INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Measure the distance between the handlebars and the back of
the seat of the bicycle (sold separately).
1.
2.
3.
Transfer the seat/handlebar measurement along a ceiling joist so the lift
assembly (E) and pulley plate (D) line up. If you need to mount the bicycle
pulley unit in the opposite direction of the joist, simply mount on a board and
then securely attach the board to the joist as shown. Secure the screw eye
hook (BB) about 12 in. from the pulley plate (D). Using the screws (AA),
mount the pulley plate (D) and the lift assembly (E) to the ceiling joist,
ensuring they line up with the handlebar/seat measurement (lift will operate
better if this measurement is accurate). Pre-drilling 1/8 in. pilot holes is
recommended.
Tie a double knot on the end of the rope (C). Feed the rope through the
screw eye hook (BB) and secure to the eyelet. Thread the rope through a
hook pulley (A), then pulley plate (D), then the second hook pulley (A) and
lift assembly (E) as shown. Be sure to the thread the rope down through
both parts of the locking mechanism in the lift assembly.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS/
AA
4. Use screws (AA) to mount the rope cleat (B) to the wall. DO NOT CUT THE
ROPE. When the bicycle is up to the ceiling, the excess rope should be
wrapped around the cleat.
Using the Bicycle Lift
Hook the bicycle handlebar and seat with the hooks and be sure the ropes are
not twisted.
The bicycle can now be raised to the ceiling by pulling the rope.
The rope will lock in place with each pull, preventing the bicycle from falling.
For safety, tie the rope on the cleat and wind the excess rope around it. DO
NOT CUT THE ROPE.
Lowering the Bicycle
Pull rope toward back pulley maintaining tension on rope (see figure).
The tension will keep the locking mechanism open and it will be possible to
lower the bicycle.
Slowly let the rope out as the bicycle lowers.
Once the bicycle is low enough, remove it from the hooks and tie the rope back
to the cleat.
