Plug the cord into a grounded wall outlet and turn your Blueair unit on by twisting the easy to use knob one turn to the right for low speed. Care and Maintenance
Blueair air purifiers feature high quality design, materials, and workmanship. To keep your unit running in top condition, routine cleaning is recommended.
Vacuum the round metal net on both top and bottom of unit on outside
as needed.
Replace the filter at minimum once each year.
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
Do not to try to repair or adjust any of the electrical or mechanical
functions yourself. Contact Blueair for service information.
How it works
Air passes through an ion chamber where airborne particles are charged with negative ions. Charged particles are drawn to the HEPA Silent™ filter surface. Purified air, which is virtually contaminant-free, is re-circulated into the room.

Getting the most from your Blueair system
The Blueair 100 Series is easy to use. Simply select the most ideal setting in your room near an electrical outlet, plug it in, turn it on, and you and your family are ready to enjoy the benefits of clean, healthy air in your home environment. Remember the Blueair 100 Series is designed for small rooms, approximately 14 by 11 feet and less. Keep your windows and doors closed so as to optimize the air purifiers ability to clean the air in your room. This is very important for those suffering from allergy or asthma symptons as one wants to keep the air as clean and healthy as possible to minimize nighttime attacks from allergies and asthma.
You can run your Blueair 100 Series 24 hours a day as it is best to have a continuous flow of clean, filtered air at all times. The air is constantly being circulated in the room and the unit captures the harmfull small lung damaging minute particles entering the environment. All Blueair units are Energy Star compliant assuring you minimal energy usage and cost of just pennies a day for clean, filtered air!
