WARNING!

In order to ensure a normal operation of your refrigerating appliance, which uses a completely environmentally friendly refrigerant the R600a (flammable only under certain conditions) you must observe the following rules:

Do not hinder the free circulation of the air around the appliance.

Do not use mechanical devices in order to accelerate the defrosting, others than the ones recommended by the manufacturer.



Do not destroy the refrigerating circuit.



Do not use electric appliances inside the food keeping compartment, other than those that might have been

recommended by the manufacturer.

Safety first!

Do not connect your appliance to the electricity supply until all packing and transit protectors have been removed.

• Leave to stand for at least 12 hours before switching on, to allow compressor oil to settle, if transported horizontally.

• If you are discarding an old appliance with a lock or latch fitted to the door, ensure that it is left in a safe condition to prevent the entrapment of children.

• This appliance must only be used for its intended purpose.

• Do not dispose of the appliance on a fire. Your appliance contains non CFC substances in the insulation which are flammable. We suggest you contact your local authority for information on disposal and available facilities.

Transportation instructions

1. The appliance should be transported only in an upright position. The packing as supplied must be intact during transportation.

2. If during the transport the appliance, has been positioned horizontally, it must not be operated for at least 12 hours, to allow the system to settle.

3. Failure to comply with the above instructions could result in damage to the appliance, for which the manufacturer will not be held liable.

4. The appliance must be protected against rain, moisture and other atmospheric influences.

• Care must be taken while cleaning/carrying the appliance not to touch the bottom of the condenser metal wires at the back of the

• Do not attempt to sit or stand on top of your appliance as it is not designed for such use. You could injure yourself or damage the appliance.

• Make sure that the mains cable is not caught under the appliance during and after moving, as this could damage the cable.

• Do not allow children to play with the appliance or tamper with the controls.

circulation of the air in compartment. It is connected in parallel with the motor-compressor. When the motor-compressor is off, the fans will also be off.

Suggested arrangement of food in the appliance

Guidelines for obtaining optimum storage and hygiene:

1. The fridge compartment is for the short-term storage of fresh food and drinks.

2. The freezer compartment is rated and suitable for the freezing and storage of pre-frozen food. The recommendation for storage as stated on the food packaging should be observed at all times.

3. Dairy products should be stored in the special compartment provided in the door liner.

4. Cooked dishes should be stored in airtight containers.

5. Fresh wrapped produce can be kept on the shelf. Fresh fruit and vegetables should be cleaned and stored in the crispers.

6. Bottles can be kept in the door section.

Temperature control and adjustment

Operating temperatures are controlled by the setting knob (Item 5) located on the ceiling of fridge compartment. Settings may be made from min, 1 ... 6, max, max being the coldest position. When the appliance is switched on for the first time, the setting knob should be adjusted so that after 24 hours, the average fridge temperature is no higher than +5°C (+41°F). We recommend you set the knob half way between the min and max setting and monitor to obtain the desired temperature i. e. towards max you will obtain a colder fridge temperature and vice versa. Some sections of the fridge may be cooler or warmer (such as the salad crisper and the top part of the cabinet) which is quite normal. The normal storage temperature of the freezer should be -18°C (0°F). Lower temperatures may be obtained by adjusting setting knob towards max position. We recommend that you check the temperature with an accurate thermometer to ensure that the storage compartments are kept to the desired temperature. Remember you must take your reading very quickly since the thermometer temperature will rise very rapidly after you remove it from the freezer. Please remember each time the door is opened cold air escapes and the internal temperature rises. Therefore never leave the door open and ensure it is closed immediately after food is put in or removed.

Final Check

Before you start using the appliance check that:

1. The feet have been adjusted for perfect levelling.

2. The interior is dry and air can circulate freely at the rear.

3. The interior is clean as recommended under "Cleaning and care.”

4. The plug has been inserted into the wall socket and the electricity is switched on. When the door is open the interior light will come on.

And note that:

5. You will hear a noise as the compressor starts up. The liquid and gases sealed within the refrigeration system may also make some (noise), whether the compressor is running or not. This is quite normal.

6. Slight undulation of the top of the cabinet is quite normal due to the manufacturing process used; it is not a defect.

7. We recommend setting the knob midway and monitor the temperature to ensure the appliance maintains desired storage temperatures (See section Temperature Control and Adjustment).

8. Do not load the appliance immediately it is switched on. Wait until the correct storage temperature has been reached. We recommend checking the temperature with an accurate thermometer (see; Temperature Control and Adjustment).

Storing frozen food

Your freezer is suitable for the long-term storage of commercially frozen foods and also can be used to freeze and store fresh food. If there is a power failure, do not open the door. Frozen food should not be affected if the failure lasts for less than 19 hrs. If the failure is longer, then the food should be checked and either eaten immediately or cooked and then re-frozen.

Freezing fresh food

Please observe the following instructions to obtain the best results. Do not freeze too large a quantity at any one time. The quality of the food is best preserved when it is frozen right through to the core as quickly as possible. Do not exceed the freezing capacity of your appliance in 24 h. Placing warm food into the freezer compartment causes the refrigeration machine to operate continously until the food is frozen solid. This can temporarily lead to excessive cooling of the refrigeration compartment.

Defrosting

A) Fridge compartment

The fridge compartment defrosts automatically. The defrost water runs to the drain tube via a collection container at the back of the appliance. Check that the tube is permanently placed with its end in the collecting tray on the compressor to prevent the water spilling on the electric installation or on the floor (Item 6).

B) Freezer compartment

The NO FROST type defrost is compleetly automatic. No intervention from your side is requiered. The water is colected on the compressor tray. Due the heat of the compressor the water is evaporated

Do not use pointed or sharp-edged objects, such as knives or forks to remove the frost.

Never use hairdryers, electrical heaters or other such electrical appliances for defrosting. Sponge out the defrost water collected in the bottom of the freezer compartment. After defrosting, dry the interior thoroughly (Item 7 & 8). Insert the plug into the wall socket and switch on the electricity supply.

Warnings!

The fans inside the freezer and fresh food compartments circulates cold air. Never insert any object through the guard. Do not allow children to play with the fresh food andfreezer fan. Never store products that contain inflammable propellant gas (eg dispensers, spray cans etc.) or explosive substances. Don’t cover the shelves with any protective materials, which may obstruct air circulation. Do not allow children to play with the appliance or tamper with the controls. Do not obstruct the fan guards to ensure that you obtain the best possible performance from your appliance. (Item 9 and Item 10)

Warning!

Your appliance is fitted with a circulating fan which is essential for the performance of the refrigerator. Please ensure the fans are not blocked (stopped) or impaired by food or packaging. Blocking (stopping) or impairing the fan can result in an increase of the internal freezer temperature (Thawing).

Replacing the interior light bulb

(Item 11)

In case that the light bulb is out of function it is easily to replace. First make sure that the refrigerator / freezer is disconnected from the power supply by removing the plug. Take a flat screwdriver and keep it carefully without force into the left gap between lamp cover and internal cabinet. Then press the handle of the screwdriver

If you have changed the light bulb please fix the cover again in it’s former position. Take care that the cover snaps-in correctly.

Cleaning and care

1. We recommend that you switch off the appliance at the socket outlet and pull out the mains plug before cleaning.

2. Never use any sharp instruments or abrasive substances, soap, household cleaner, detergent or wax polish for cleaning.

3. Use luke warm water to clean the cabinet of the appliance and wipe it dry.

4. Use a damp cloth wrung out in a solution of water to clean the interior and wipe it dry.

5. Make sure that no water enters the temperature control box.

6. If the appliance is not going to be used for a long period of time, switch it off, remove all food, clean it and leave the door ajar.

Information about operating noises

To keep the selected temperature constant, your appliance occasionally switches ON the compressor. The resulting noises are quite normal. As soon as the appliance has reached the operating temperature, the noises automatically reduce in volume.

The humming noise is emitted by the motor (compressor). When the motor switches ON, the noise may briefly increase in volume. An sudden click can be heares some times due to the timer changing position

The bubbling, gurgling or whirring noise is emitted by the refrigerant as it flows through the pipes.

The clicking noise can always be heard when the setting knob ON/OFF the motor. A clicking noise may occur when

Troubleshooting

If the appliance does not operate when switched on, check;

• That the plug is inserted properly in the socket and that the power supply is on. (To check the power supply to the socket, plug in another appliance)

• Whether the fuse has blown/circuit breaker has tripped/main distribution switch has been turned off.

• That the temperature control has been set correctly.

• That the new plug is wired correctly, if you have changed the fitted, moulded plug.

If the appliance is still not operating at all after above checks, contact the dealer from whom you purchased the unit. Please ensure that above checks have been done, as a charge will be made if no fault is found.

Transporthinweise

1. Während des Transports sollte das Gerät stets aufrecht stehend und in Originalverpackung transportiert werden.

2. Wurde das Gerät waagerecht transportiert, so muß es zur Beruhigung des Kältekreislaufes wenigstens 12 Stunden ruhig lassen, bevor der Inbetriebnahme.

Aufstellen

1. Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht in Räumen auf, in denen die Temperatur unter -15 °C abfallen kann; dies gilt insbesondere nachts und im Winter.

2. Bei niedrigen Temperaturen ist es möglich, dass das Gerät nicht funktioniert. Das bewirkt eine Verminderung der Lagerungsdauer von Lebensmitteln, mindert unnötig den Nährwert und im schlechtesten Fall können Lebensmittel frühzeitig verderben Vermeiden Sie direkte Sonneneinstrahlung, und stellen Sie das Gerät nie in der Nähe einer direkten Wärmequelle auf. Die Lüfter sorgen für die richtige Luftzirkulation im Inneren. Sie sind parallel zum Motor und Kompressor geschaltet. Wenn Motor und Kompressor aussetzen, schalten sich die Lüfter ebenfalls ab.

Empfohlene Lagerung von Lebensmitteln im Gerät

Richtlinien für optimale Lagerung und Hygiene:

1. Der Kühlbereich ist für die kurzfristige Lagerung

von frischen Lebensmitteln und Getränken vorgesehen.

2. Der Tiefkühlbereich ist ein

eignet sich zum Einfrieren und zur Lagerung vorgefrorener Lebensmittel. Die Empfehlungen auf der

Lebensmittelverpackung sollten bei Lagerung immer eingehalten werden.

3. Milchprodukte sollten in dem dafür

vorgesehenen Bereich in der Kühlschranktür aufbewahrt werden.

4. Gekochte Gerichte sollten in luftdichten

Behältern aufbewahrt werden.

5. Frisch verpackte Produkte können in den

Fächern aufbewahrt werden Gemüse sollten sauber sein und im Gemüsefach verstaut werden.

6. Flaschen können im entsprechenden Bereich in

der Tür verstaut werden.

7. Frisches Fleisch geben Sie in Frischhaltebeutel

und legen diese auf die unterste Ablage. Um Verunreinigungen zu vermeiden, lassen Sie solche Lebensmittel nicht mit gekochten Speisen in Kontakt kommen.

Zu Ihrer Sicherheit sollten Sie rohes Fleisch niemals länger als zwei oder drei Tage lagern.

8. Aus Gründen der Wirtschaftlichkeit sollten Sie die herausnehmbaren Ablagen nicht mit Papier oder anderen Materialien abdecken, da dadurch die Kaltluftzirkulation behindert wird.

9. Lagern Sie Pflanzenöl nicht in den Türfächern. Lagern Sie Speisen immer verpackt, eingewickelt oder abgedeckt. Lassen Sie heiße Speisen und Getränke immer erst auskühlen, bevor Sie diese in den Kühlschrank stellen Reste von Dosengerichten sollten nicht in der Dose gelagert werden.

10. Sprudelgetränke sollten nicht tiefgekühlt, Produkte wie Speiseeis sollten nicht zu kalt konsumiert werden.

11. Einige Frücht Temperaturen nahe 0°C. Wickeln Sie daher Ananas, Melonen, Gurken, Tomaten und ähnliches in Frischhaltebeutel.

12. Hochprozentiger Alkohol muss immer aufrecht, in gut verschlossenen Flaschen gelagert werden. Lagern sie keine Behältnisse mit entflammbarem Treibgas (z.B. Sahnespender, Spraydosen, usw.) oder explosiven Stoffen. Es besteht Explosionsgefahr.

13. Um die Körbe aus dem Tiefkühlfach zu nehmen, gehen Sie wie in Abschnitt 12 vor.

Temperaturkontrolle und -einstellung

Die Betriebstemperatur wird über den Einstellknopf (Abbildung 5) im oberen Bereich des Kühlfaches eingestellt. Die Einstellungen reichen von Min. über 1 bis 6 bis Max. – der kältesten Einstellung. Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal einschalten, sollten Sie den Einstellknopf so einstellen, dass die durchschnittliche Temperatur im Inneren des Kühlgerätes nach 24 Stunden nicht mehr als 5 °C

die Mitte zwischen den Positionen Min. und Max. einzustellen, die Temperatur zu überprüfen und die Einstellung anzupassen, bis die gewünschte Innentemperatur erreicht ist. Zur Position Max. hin erreichen Sie eine stärkere Kühlleistung. Einige Bereiche Ihres Kühlgerätes kühlen sich geringfügig stärker oder schwächer ab (wie das Gemüsefach und der oberste Bereich des Innenraums). Dies ist völlig normal. Zum Lagern von Lebensmitteln sollte die Innentemperatur des Gefrierfaches -18 °C betragen. Sie können noch tiefere Temperaturen erreichen, indem Sie den Einstellknopf zur Position Max. hin drehen.

1. Die Füße zwecks perfektem Stand eingestellt wurden.

2. Der Innenraum trocken ist und die Luft an der Rückseite frei zirkulieren kann.

3. Der Innenraum entsprechend der Hinweise im Abschnitt „Reinigung und Pflege“ gereinigt wurde.

Beachten Sie bitte Folgendes:

5. Sie hören ein Geräusch, wenn sich der Kompressor einschaltet. Auch die im Kühlsystem befindlichen Flüssigkeiten und Gase können Geräusche verursachen, egal, ob der Kompressor läuft oder nicht. Dies ist völlig normal.

6. Eine leichte Wellung on der Oberseite ist aus Herstellungsgründen normal und stellt keinen Defekt dar.

7. Wir empfehlen, den Einstellknopf in die mittlere Position zu drehen und die Temperatur zu beobachten, um sicherzustellen, dass das Gerät die eingestellte Temperatur hält (schauen Sie sich hierzu den Abschnitt Temperaturkontrolle und einstellung an).

8. Beladen Sie das Gerät nicht gleich nach dem Einschalten. Warten Sie, bis die richtige Lagerungstemperatur erreicht ist. Wir empfehlen, die Temperatur mit einem präzisen Thermometer zu kontrollieren (siehe Temperaturkontrolle und Einstellung).

Lagerung von Tiefkühlkost

Ihr Kühlgerät ist für die langfristige Lagerung handelsüblicher Tiefkühlkost geeignet und kann auch dazu benutzt werden, frische Lebensmittel einzufrieren. Bei Stromausfall nicht die Kühlschranktür öffnen. Tiefgekühlte Lebensmittel sollten von Stromausfällen von weniger als 19 Stunden nicht in Mitleidenschaft gezogen werden. Wenn der Stromausfall länger dauert, sollten die Lebensmittel überprüft und entweder sofort verzehrt oder gekocht und danach wieder eingefroren werden.

Frische Lebensmittel tiefkühlen

Bitte beachten Sie die folgenden Hinweise, um beste Resultate zu erzielen. Frieren Sie nicht zu große Mengen auf einmal ein. Die Qualität der Lebensmittel bleibt am besten erhalten, wenn sie so schnell wie möglich bis in den Kern tiefgekühlt werden. Überschreiten Sie nicht die tägliche Tiefkühlkapazität ihres Gerätes. Wenn Sie noch warme Speisen in den Tiefkühlbereich stellen, muss das Kühlaggregat

tiefgekühlt sind. Dies kann vorübergehend zu einer stärkeren Kühlung im Kühlschrankbereich führen. Lassen Sie den Einstellknopf in der mittleren Position, wenn Sie frische Lebensmittel tiefkühlen. Kleine Lebensmittelmengen bis zu 1/2 kg können tiefgekühlt werden, ohne dass die Temperatur mit Hilfe des Temperaturreglers nachgeregelt werden muss. Achten Sie besonders darauf, bereits tiefgekühlte und frische Speisen nicht zu vermischen.

Herstellung von Eiswürfeln

Füllen Sie die Eiswürfelschale zu etwa 3/4 mit Wasser und stellen Sie diese ins Tiefkühlfach. Lösen Sie angefrorene Schalen mit einem Löffelstil oder einem ähnlichen Hilfsmittel;

A) Kühlbereich

Der Kühlbereich taut automatisch ab. Das Tauwasser fließt durch das Ablaufrohr in einen Sammelbehälter an der Rückseite des Gerätes. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Rohr im Sammelbehälter am Kompressor endet, damit kein Wasser auf stromführende Teile oder den Boden gerät (Abbildung 6).

B) Tiefkühlbereich

Das Abtauen erfolgt bei eisfreien Geräten automatisch. Sie müssen nichts weiter dazu tun. Das anfallende Wasser sammelt sich in der Kompressorschale. Dort verdunstet das Wasser durch die Kompressorwärme.

Verwenden Sie keine spitzen oder scharfen Gegenstände (wie Messer oder Gabeln) zum Entfernen der Eisschicht.

Verwenden Sie niemals Haartrockner, elektrische Heizgeräte oder ähnliches zum Beschleunigen des Abtauvorgangs. Wischen Sie das Tauwasser, welches sich am

Schwamm auf. Trocknen Sie nach dem Abtauen die Innenseiten (Abbildungen 7 und 8) gut ab. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder in die Steckdose, schalten Sie die Stromzufuhr wieder ein.

Die Lüfter sorgen für die Zirkulation kalter Luft innerhalb des Gerätes. Schieben Sie niemals

Sie darauf, dass Kinder nicht mit den Lüftern spielen. Lagern Sie niemals Behälter mit entflammbaren Treibgasen (z. B. Sahnespender, Spraydosen, usw.) oder explosiven Stoffen. Decken Sie niemals Ablagen mit Folien oder ähnlichen Materialien ab; dies behindert die Luftzirkulation. Gestatten Sie Kindern nicht, mit dem Gerät oder den Bedienelementen zu spielen. Verhindern Sie ein Blockieren der Lüfter und ihrer Abdeckungen, damit das Gerät stets optimal arbeiten kann. (Abbildungen 9 und 10)

Ihr Gerät ist mit einem Umlaufllüfter ausgestattet, der für die gute Kühlleistung des Gerätes sehr wichtig ist. blockiert werden und dadurch anhalten; dies kann zum Beispiel geschehen, wenn Lebensmittel dagegen stoßen. Ein blockierter Lüfter kann zum Ansteigen der Innentemperatur und zum Auftauen führen.

kann das Leuchtmittel leicht ersetzt werden. Trennen Sie das Kühlgerät zunächst von der Stromversorgung, indem Sie den Netzstecker ziehen. Nehmen Sie einen Schlitzschraubendreher zur Hand, setzen Sie die Klinge vorsichtig in den linken Spalt zwischen Lampenabdeckung und Innenwand. Bewegen Sie den Griff des Schraubendrehers vorsichtig nach links, bis sich der linke Stift der Abdeckung löst. Dies wiederholen Sie mit dem rechten Spalt, hier bewegen Sie den Griff des Schraubendrehers entsprechend vorsichtig nach rechts. Wenn beide Seiten gelöst sind, lässt sich die Abdeckung leicht abnehmen. Kontrollieren Sie dann, ob das Leuchtmittel richtig

Stromversorgung. Sollte das Licht noch immer nicht aufleuchten, erwerben Sie ein neues Leuchtmittel (E14-Gewinde, maximal 15 Watt) im Elektrofachhandel und schrauben dieses ein. Entsorgen Sie das ausgebrannte Leuchtmittel sofort und mit Vorsicht. Nach dem Austausch des Leuchtmittels setzen Sie die Abdeckung wieder wie zuvor auf. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Abdeckung richtig einrastet.

Gebrauchsanweisung

1. Vor der Reinigung empfiehlt es sich, das Gerät

Reinigung und Pflege

ggf. an der Steckdose abzuschalten und den Netzstecker zu ziehen.

2. Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen weder scharfe Gegenstände noch Scheuermittel, Seife, Haushaltsreiniger, andere Putzmittel oder Wachspolitur.

3. Reinigen Sie den Innenraum des Geräts mit lauwarmem Wasser und reiben Sie ihn dann trocken.

4. Befeuchten Sie zum Reinigen ein Tuch in einer Lösung aus einem Teelöffel Natriumbikarbonat (doppeltkohlensaures Natron) und einem halben Liter Wasser, und wischen Sie den Innenraum damit aus.

5. Achten Sie darauf, daß kein Wasser in die Thermostateinheit gelangt.

6. Wenn das Gerät für eine längere Zeit nicht verwendet werden soll, dann schalten Sie es ab, nehmen Sie sämtliche Lebensmittel heraus, reinigen Sie es, und lassen Sie die Tür leicht geöffnet.

7. Zum Polieren der Metallteile des Geräts (d.h. die Türaußenseite und die seitlichen Außenwände) empfehlen wir die Verwendung eines Wachses auf Silikonbasis (Autopolitur). Auf diese Weise wird die hochwertige Außenlackierung geschützt.

8. Staub, der sich auf dem Kondensator hinter dem Gerät ansammelt, sollte einmal pro Jahr mit einem Staubsauger entfernt werden.

9. Überprüfen Sie die Türdichtung regelmäßig auf Sauberkeit und achten Sie darauf, daß sich keine Reste von Lebensmitteln o.ä. darauf befinden.

10.Vermeiden Sie es in jedem Fall,

• das Gerät mit ungeeigneten Substanzen zu reinigen, wie etwa mit benzinhaltigen Mitteln,

• es allzu hohen Temperaturen auszusetzen,

• es mit scheuernden Substanzen zu putzen, abzureiben o.ä.

11. Ausbau des Deckels des Milchproduktefachs und der Türablage:

• Zum Ausbau den Deckel zunächst 2-3 cm anheben und dann an der Seite abziehen, an der sich im Deckel eine Öffnung befindet.

• Um eine Türablage zu entfernen, zunächst den gesamten Inhalt der Ablage entfernen und dann einfach vom Boden her nach oben drücken.

12. Achten Sie darauf, daß die Plastikschale an der Rückseite des Geräts, die zum Sammeln von Tauwasser dient, immer sauber bleibt. Wenn Sie die Schale zum Reinigen ausbauen wollen, dann gehen Sie wie folgt vor:

• Das Gerät ggf. an der Steckdose abschalten und den Netzstecker ziehen.

•Den Stift am Kompressor vorsichtig mit einer Zange zurückbiegen, so daß die Schale freiliegt.

• Die Schale abnehmen.

• Die Schale reinigen und trockenreiben.

•Zum Wiedereinbauen die gleichen Schritte in umgekehrter Reihenfolge ausführen.

13. Stärkere Eisablagerungen sollten regelmäßig mittels ein Eisschabers aus Plastik entfernt werden. Massive Eisablagerungen vermindern die Kühlleistung Ihres Geräts.

Richtig: Rohes Fleisch und Geflügel nicht zu fest in

Polyethylen- oder Aluminiumfolie einwickeln, um ein Austrocknen zu verhindern.

Richtig: Fisch und Innereien in Polyethylenbeutel

Richtig: Lebensmittel, die einen starken Geruch

haben oder nicht austrocknen sollen, in Polyethylenbeutel oder Aluminiumfolie wickeln oder in luftdichten Behältern lagern.

Richtig: Brot gut einwickeln, damit es frisch bleibt. Richtig: Weißwein, Bier und Mineralwasser vor

dem Servieren gut kühlen.

Le ventole hanno lo scopo di garantire la circolazione dell’aria nello scomparto. Sono collegate in modo parallelo al compressore del motore. Quando il compressore del motore è spento, anche le ventole si disattivano.

Suggerimenti sulla disposizione del cibo nell'elettrodomestico

Linee guida per ottenere la conservazione e l'igiene ottimale:

1. Lo scomparto frigo serve per la conservazione

a breve termine di cibi freschi e bevande.

2. Lo scomparto del freezer è adatto al

congelamento e alla conservazione di cibo precongelato. È necessario osservare sempre i consigli per la

conservazione riportati sulla confezione dei cibi.

3. I prodotti caseari devono essere conservati in

uno scomparto speciale presente nello sportello.

4. I piatti cotti devono essere conservati in

contenitori a tenuta d'aria.

5. I prodotti freschi incartati possono essere

conservati sulla mensola. La frutta fresca e le verdure devono essere puliti e conservati nello scomparto apposito.

7. Per conservare carne cruda avvolgerla in

buste di polietilene e collocarla sulla mensola più bassa. Non mettere la carne cruda in contatto con cibi cotti, per evitare contaminazioni.

10. Non congelare bevande gasate e non consumare prodotti come cubetti di ghiaccio aromatizzati troppo freddi.

11. Alcuni tipi di frutta e verdura si rovinano se conservati a temperature intorno a 0°C. Pertanto avvolgere ananas, meloni, cetrioli e prodotti simili in buste di polietilene

12. I super alcolici devono essere conservati in posizione verticale in contenitori ben chiusi. Non conservare mai prodotti che contengono gas propellenti infiammabili (ad esempio erogatori di crema, bombolette spray, ecc.) o sostanze esplosive. Sono a rischio di esplosione.

13. Per estrarre i cestelli dallo scomparto freezer, procedere come nella Elemento 12.

Controllo e regolazione della temperatura

Le temperature operative sono controllate dalla manopola di impostazione (elemento 5) posizionate sul soffitto dello scomparto frigo. Le impostazioni possono andare da min, 1 … 6, max; max è la posizione più fredda. Quando l’elettrodomestico viene acceso per la prima volta, la manopola di impostazione deve essere regolata in modo che, dopo 24 ore, la temperatura media del frigo non è superiore a +5°C (+41°F ). Consigliamo di impostare la manopola a metà tra min e max e di monitorare per ottenere la temperatura desiderata, cioè verso max si otterrà una temperatura più fredda per il frigo e viceversa. Alcune sezioni del frigorifero possono essere più calde o più fredde (come lo scomparto per l'insalata e la parte superiore dell'armadietto) il che è normale. La temperatura normale di conservazione del freezer dovrebbe essere di -18°C (-0°F). Per ottenere temperature inferiori regolare la manopola di impostazione verso la posizione max.

3. L'interno sia pulito come consigliato nel capitolo "Pulizia e manutenzione”.

4. La spina sia stata inserita nella presa a muro e l'elettricità sia accesa. Quando lo sportello è aperto la luce interna è accesa.

Si noti che:

5. Si udrà un rumore quando il compressore si avvia. I liquidi e i gas sigillati nel sistema refrigerante possono produrre dei rumori, che il compressore sia in funzione o meno. Ciò è abbastanza normale.

7. Si consiglia di impostare la manopola a metà strada e di monitorare la temperatura per assicurare che l'elettrodomestico mantenga la temperatura di conservazione desiderata (vedere il capitolo Controllo e regolazione della temperatura).

8. Non caricare l'elettrodomestico appena lo si accende. Attendere finché non viene raggiunta la temperatura di conservazioni corretta. Si consiglia di controllare la temperatura con un termometro di precisione (vedere il capitolo Controllo e regolazione della temperatura).

Conservazione di cibo congelato

Il freezer è adatto alla conservazione a lungo termine di cibi congelati disponibili in commercio e può essere inoltre utilizzato per congelare e conservare cibi freschi. In caso di interruzione di alimentazioni, non aprire lo sportello. Il cibo congelato non verrà danneggiato se la mancanza di alimentazione dura meno di 19 ore. Se dura di più, è necessario controllare il cibo e mangiarlo immediatamente o cuocerlo e quindi congelarlo di nuovo.

Congelamento di cibi freschi

Attenersi alle seguenti istruzioni per ottenere i risultati migliori. Non congelare quantità troppo grandi in una volta sola. La qualità del cibo viene preservata in modo ottimale quando il cibo viene congelato il più velocemente possibile. Non superare la capacità di congelamento dell'elettrodomestico in 24 ore. Il posizionamento di cibi caldi nello scomparto freezer provoca il funzionamento continuo del refrigeratore finché il cibo non si solidifica. Ciò può causare un raffreddamento temporaneo eccessivo dello scomparto di refrigerazione. Quando si congela cibo fresco, tenere la manopola di impostazione in una posizione intermedia. È possibile congelare piccole quantità di cibo fino a 1/2 kg. (1 la) senza regolare la manopola della temperatura.

A) Scomparto frigo

Lo scomparto frigo si sbrina automaticamente. L'acqua di sbrinamento scorre nel tubo di scarico tramite un contenitore di raccolta posizionato nella parte posteriore dell'elettrodomestico. Controllare che il tubo sia collocato in modo stabile con l'estremità nel vassoio di raccolta sul compressore per evitare che l'acqua spruzzi sull'istallazione elettrica o sul pavimento (Elemento 6).

B) Scomparto freezer

Lo sbrinamento del tipo NO FROST è completamente automatico. Non è necessario alcun intervento da parte dell’utente. L’acqua si raccoglie nel vassoio del compressore. A causa del calore del compressore, l’acqua evapora.

Non utilizzare oggetti appuntiti come coltelli o forchette per rimuovere il ghiaccio.

Non utilizzare mai asciugacapelli, stufe o altri elettrodomestici simili per lo sbrinamento. Pulire via l'acqua di sbrinamento raccolta nella parte inferiore dello scomparto freezer. Dopo lo sbrinamento, asciugare completamente l'interno(Elemento 7 & 8). Inserire la spina nella presa a muro e accendere l'alimentazione elettrica.

Avvertenza!

Le ventole nel freezer e negli scomparti alimenti freschi mettono in circolo aria fredda. Non inserire mai oggetti attraverso la protezione. Non consentire ai bambini di giocare con la ventola dello scomparto alimenti freschi e del freezer. Non conservare mai prodotti che contengono gas propellenti infiammabili (ad esempio erogatori, bombolette spray, ecc.) o sostanze esplosive. Non coprire le mensole con sostanze protettive che possono ostruire la circolazione dell'aria. Non permettere ai bambini di giocare con l'elettrodomestico o di manomettere i comandi. Non ostruire la protezione della ventola per garantire le migliori prestazioni dal proprio elettrodomestico.

Sostituzione della lampadina interna

Se la lampadina non funziona, si può sostituire con facilità. Come prima cosa, assicurarsi che il frigorifero / freezer sia scollegato dall'alimentazione rimuovendo la presa. Prendere un cacciavite piatto e tenerlo con attenzione, senza forzare, nello spazio sinistro presente tra la copertura della lampadina e l’alloggiamento interno. Poi premere il manico del cacciavite con attenzione sul lato sinistro fino a notare che il perno sinistro del coperchio rimasto è disimpegnato. Ripetere questa procedura per il lato destro, premendo, però, ora il manico del cacciavite con attenzione sul lato destro. Se entrambi i lati sono allentati, la copertura può essere rimossa facilmente. Verificare che la lampadina sia ben avvitata nell'alloggiamento apposito. Collegare

funziona comunque, utilizzare una lampadina sostitutiva da 15 Watt (Max) del tipo coperchio a vite E14 al proprio negoziante di materiale elettrico e inserirla. Smaltire immediatamente e con attenzione le lampadine bruciate. Dopo aver cambiato la lampadina, rimontare la copertura in posizione. Prestare attenzione a far scattare bene in posizione la copertura.

Pulizia e manutenzione

1. Si consiglia di spegnere l'elettrodomestico dalla presa e di scollegare il cavo di alimentazione prima di pulire.

2. Non utilizzare mai attrezzi appuntiti o sostanze abrasive, saponi, detergenti per la casa o cere per la pulizia.

3. Utilizzare acqua tiepida per pulire l'armadietto del dispositivo e asciugarlo.

4. Utilizzare un panno umido intriso di una soluzione composta da un cucchiaino di bicarbonato di soda e da circa mezzo litro di acqua e pulire l'interno, quindi asciugare.

5. Assicurarsi che l'acqua non penetri nel quadro di comando della temperatura.

6. Se l'elettrodomestico non viene usato per un lungo periodo di tempo, spegnerlo, togliere tutti gli alimenti dal suo interno, pulirlo e lasciare lo sportello aperto.

7. Si consiglia di pulire le parti metalliche del prodotto (ad esempio l'esterno dello sportello e i lati dell'armadietto) con una cera al silicone (l auto) per proteggere la finitura della vernice di alta qualità.

• Pulire l'elettrodomestico con sostanze non adatte ad esempio prodotti a base di petrolio.

• Esporre mai ad alte temperature in alcun modo.

• Strofinare, sfregare o simili con sostanze abrasive.

11. Rimozione del coperchio dello scomparto latticini e del vassoio dello sportello:

• Per rimuovere il coperchio dello scomparto latticini, sollevare prima il coperchio di circa tre centimetri ed estrarlo lateralmente dove si trova un'apertura sul coperchio.

• Per rimuovere il vassoio dello sportello, rimuovere tutto il contenuto e spingere semplicemente il vassoio verso l'alto.

12. Verif retro dell'elettrodomestico che raccoglie l'acqua di sbrinamento sia sempre pulito. Per rimuovere il vassoio per pulirlo, attenersi alle istruzioni seguenti:

• Spegnere la presa di corrente ed estrarre la spina di rete.

• Aprire delicatamente la borchia sul compressore utilizzando un paio di pinze in modo che sia possibile rimuovere il vassoio

• Sollevarlo.

• Pulire e asciugare

• Rimontare invertendo la sequenza delle operazioni

13. Per rimuovere un cassetto, tirarlo fuori per quanto è possibile, rovesciarlo e poi estrarlo completamente.

Informazioni sui rumori di funzionamento

Per mantenere costante la temperatura selezionata, l'elettrodomestico a volte attiva il compressore. I rumori che ne risultano sono normali. Appena l'elettrodomestico ha raggiunto la temperature di funzionamento, i rumori si riducono automaticamente.

Il gorgoglio viene emesso dal motore (compressore). Quando il motore si accende, il rumore può aumentare brevemente.

Il ribollio, il gorgoglio o il ronzio viene emesso dal refrigerante quando scorre attraverso le tubature.

È possibile che si oda uno schiocco quando il termostato accende/spegne il motore. Può verificarsi uno schiocco quando

- Il sistema di sbrinamento automatico è attivo.

- L'elettrodomestico si sta raffreddando o riscaldando (espansione materiali).

Se i rumori sono eccessivamente forti, le cause probabilmente non sono serie e in genere sono molto facili da eliminare.

- L'elettrodomestico non è in posizione piana: utilizzare i piedini di regolazione dell'altezza o porre la confezione sotto i piedini.

- L'elettrodomestico non è libero: spostare l'elettrodomestico lontano dalle unità della cucina o da altri elettrodomestici.

- Cassetti, cesti e ripiani sono allentati o fissi: controllare i componenti staccabili e se necessario riposizionarli.

- Le bottiglie e/o i contenitori si toccano: spostarli lontano gli uni dagli altri.

Risoluzione dei problemi

Se l'elettrodomestico non funziona quando è acceso, controllare:

• che la spina sia inserita correttamente nella presa e che l'alimentazione sia accesa (per controllare l'alimentazione della presa, collegare ad essa un altro elettrodomestico)

• se il fusibile è bruciato/l'interruttore di distribuzione è spento.

• che il comando della temperatura sia impostato correttamente.

• che la nuova spina sia cablata correttamente se è stata cambiata la spina. Se l'elettrodomestico ancora non funziona dopo i controlli elencati in precedenza, contattare il distributore presso il quale è stata acquistata l'unità. Οδηγίες µεταφοράς

4. Η συσκευή πρέπει να προστατεύεται από τη βροχή, την υγρασία και άλλες ατµοσφαιρικές επιδράσεις.

Σηµαντική παρατήρηση!

• Θα πρέπει να φροντίζετε κατά τον καθαρισµό/µεταφορά της συσκευής να µην αγγίξετε το κάτω µέρος των µεταλλικών συρµάτων του συµπυκνωτή στην πίσω πλευρά της συσκευής, καθώς αυτό θα µπορούσε να προκαλέσει τραυµατισµό στα δάκτυλα και τα χέρια.

• Μην επιχειρήσετε να καθίσετε ή να σταθείτε πάνω στη συσκευή, γιατί δεν είναι κατασκευασµένη για τέτοια χρήση. Θα µπορούσατε να τραυµατιστείτε ή να προξενήσετε βλάβη στη συσκευή.

• Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το καλώδιο ρεύµατος δεν έχει πιαστεί κάτω από τη συσκευή στη διάρκεια ή µετά τη µετακίνησή της, γιατί αυτό θα µπορούσε να προξενήσει βλάβη στο καλώδιο.

• Μην επιτρέπετε σε παιδιά να παίζουν µε τη συσκευή ή να πειράζουν τα συστήµατα ελέγχου.

Οδηγίες εγκατάστασης

1. Μη χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή σε χώρο όπου υπάρχει ενδεχόµενο η θερµοκρασία να πέσει κάτω από -15 βαθµούς C (5 βαθµούς F) τη νύχτα και/ή ειδικά το χειµώνα.

2. Μην τοποθετείτε τη συσκευή κοντά σε κουζίνες, σώµατα θέρµανσης ή σε άµεσο ηλιακό φως, γιατί θα προκληθεί πρόσθετο φορτίο στις λειτουργίες της συσκευής. Αν εγκατασταθεί δίπλα σε πηγή θερµότητας ή σε καταψύκτη, διατηρείτε τις ακόλουθες ελάχιστες πλευρικές αποστάσεις: Από κουζίνες 30 χιλ. Από σώµατα θέρµανσης 300 χιλ. Από καταψύκτες 25 χιλ.

3. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι υπάρχει αρκετός χώρος γύρω από τη συσκευή για να εξασφαλίζεται ανεµπόδιστη κυκλοφορία του αέρα (σχήµα 2).

• Τοποθετήστε το πίσω κάλυµµα αερισµού στην πίσω πλευρά του ψυγείου σας για να καθορίσετε την απόσταση µεταξύ του ψυγείου και του τοίχου

4. Η συσκευή θα πρέπει να τοποθετηθεί σε οµαλή επιφάνεια. Τα δύο µπροστινά πόδια µπορούν να ρυθµιστούν όπως απαιτείται. Για να βεβαιωθείτε ότι η συσκευή σας είναι σε κατακόρυφη θέση,

τα δεξιόστροφα ή αριστερόστροφα, µέχρι η συσκευή να είναι σε σταθερή επαφή µε το δάπεδο. Η σωστή ρύθµιση των ποδιών συντελεί στην αποφυγή υπερβολικών κραδασµών και θορύβου (σχήµα 4).

14. Ανεµιστήρας κατάψυξης Οι ανεµιστήρες προορίζονται να παρέχουν κυκλοφορία

αέρα στο χώρο. Συνδέεται παράλληλα µε το µοτέρσυµπιεστή. Όταν είναι απενεργοποιηµένο το µοτέρσυµπιεστής, θα είναι απενεργοποιηµένοι και οι ανεµιστήρες.

Συνιστώµενη τακτοποίηση των τροφίµων στη συσκευή

Οδηγίες για το πώς να επιτύχετε βέλτιστη διατήρηση και υγιεινή:

1. Ο χώρος συντήρησης προορίζεται για τη βραχυπρόθεσµη διατήρηση νωπών τροφίµων και ποτών.

2. Ο χώρος κατάψυξης έχει είναι κατάλληλος για την κατάψυξη νωπών και την αποθήκευση ήδη κατεψυγµένων τροφίµων. Θα πρέπει να τηρούνται πάντα οι συστάσεις για

συσκευασία των τροφίµων.

3. Τα γαλακτοκοµικά προϊόντα θα πρέπει να διατηρούνται στο ειδικό διαµέρισµα που βρίσκεται στην εσωτερική πλευρά της πόρτας.

4. Τα µαγειρευµένα φαγητά θα πρέπει να διατηρούνται σε αεροστεγή δοχεία.

5. Τα φρεσκοσυσκευασµένα κηπευτικά µπορούν να διατηρούνται σε ράφι. Τα φρέσκα φρούτα και λαχανικά θα πρέπει να καθαρίζονται και να διατηρούνται στα συρτάρια λαχανικών.

6. Τα µπουκάλια µπορούν να φυλάσσονται στο ειδικό τµήµα της πόρτας.

8. Για τη µέγιστη απόδοση, τα αφαιρούµενα ράφια δεν θα πρέπει να καλύπτονται µε χαρτί ή άλλα υλικά, ώστε να επιτρέπεται η ελεύθερη κυκλοφορία του ψυχρού αέρα.

9. Μη διατηρείτε φυτικό λάδι στα ράφια της πόρτας.

∆ιατηρείτε τα τρόφιµα συσκευασµένα, τυλιγµένα ή καλυµµένα. Αφήνετε τα καυτά φαγητά και ποτά να κρυώνουν πριν τα τοποθετήσετε στο ψυγείο. Τα υπόλοιπα φαγητών από κονσέρβα δεν θα πρέπει να διατηρούνται στο δοχείο της κονσέρβας.

10. Τα αεριούχα ποτά δεν θα πρέπει να καταψύχονται και προϊόντα όπως παγωτά από γρανίτα δεν θα πρέπει να καταναλώνονται πολύ κρύα.

11. Ορισµένα φρούτα και λαχανικά υφίστανται βλάβες αν διατηρηθούν σε θερµοκρασίες κοντά στους 0°C. Γι' αυτό τυλίγετε ανανάδες, πεπόνια, αγγούρια, τοµάτες και παρόµοια προϊόντα σε σακούλες πολυαιθυλενίου.

12. Τα υγρά µεγάλης περιεκτικότητας σε οινόπνευµα πρέπει να αποθηκεύονται σε δοχεία που είναι σε όρθια θέση και σφιχτά κλεισµένα. Ποτέ µην αποθηκεύετε στη συσκευή προϊόντα που περιέχουν εύφλεκτο προωθητικό αέριο (π.χ. µεταλλικά δοχεία σαντιγί υπό πίεση, σπρέι κλπ.) ή εκρηκτικές ουσίες. Αυτά αποτελούν κίνδυνο έκρηξης.

13. “Για να αφαιρέσετε το καλάθι από το χώρο κατάψυξης, προχωρήστε όπως στο 12.”

Έλεγχος και ρύθµιση θερµοκρασίας

Οι θερµοκρασίες λειτουργίας ρυθµίζονται µε το περιστροφικό κουµπί ρύθµισης (στοιχείο 5) που βρίσκεται στην οροφή του χώρου συντήρησης. Οι ρυθµίσεις µπορεί να είναι από min, 1 – 6, max, όπου max είναι η πιο ψυχρή ρύθµιση. Όταν η συσκευή ενεργοποιηθεί για πρώτη φορά, το περιστροφικό κουµπί ρύθµισης θα πρέπει να ρυθµιστεί έτσι ώστε µετά από 24 ώρες, η µέση θερµοκρασία στο χώρο συντήρησης να µην είναι υψηλότερη από +5 °C (+41 °F). Συνιστούµε να ρυθµίσετε το περιστροφικό κουµπί στο µέσο της απόστασης ανάµεσα στις ρυθµίσεις min και max και να παρακολουθήσετε ότι η συσκευή επιτυγχάνει την επιθυµητή θερµοκρασία, δηλ. κοντά στο max θα επιτύχετε χαµηλότερη θερµοκρασία στη συντήρηση και αντιστρόφως. Ορισµένα τµήµατα του ψυγείου µπορεί να είναι πιο κρύα ή πιο ζεστά (όπως το συρτάρι λαχανικών και το πάνω µέρος του θαλάµου) και αυτό είναι κανονικό. Η κανονική θερµοκρασία αποθήκευσης τροφίµων στην κατάψυξη θα πρέπει να είναι -18 °C (0 °F). Χαµηλότερες θερµοκρασίες µπορούν να επιτευχθούν ρυθµίζοντας το περιστροφικό κουµπί ρύθµισης προς τη θέση µέγιστης ψύξης (max). Συνιστούµε να ελέγχετε τη θερµοκρασία µε ένα θερµόµετρο ακριβείας για να βεβαιώνεστε ότι οι χώροι αποθήκευσης τροφίµων διατηρούνται στην επιθυµητή θερµοκρασία. Θυµηθείτε να λαµβάνετε την ένδειξη αµέσως γιατί η θερµοκρασία στο θερµόµετρο θα ανέλθει πολύ γρήγορα αφού το αφαιρέσετε από την κατάψυξη. Να έχετε υπόψη σας ότι κάθε φορά που ανοίγετε την πόρτα, διαφεύγει κρύος αέρας και αυξάνεται η εσωτερική θερµοκρασία. Για το λόγο αυτό, ποτέ µην αφήνετε ανοικτή την πόρτα και να βεβαιώνεστε ότι κλείνει αµέσως µετά την προσθήκη ή την αφαίρεση τροφίµων.

Πριν αρχίσετε να χρησιµοποιείτε τη συσκευή ελέγξτε ότι:

1. Τα πόδια έχουν ρυθµιστεί ώστε η συσκευή να είναι εντελώς οριζόντια.

2. Το εσωτερικό είναι στεγνό και ο αέρας µπορεί να κυκλοφορεί ανεµπόδιστα στο πίσω µέρος.

3. Το εσωτερικό είναι καθαρό όπως συνιστάται στην ενότητα "Καθαρισµός και φροντίδα".

4. Το φις έχει συνδεθεί στην πρίζα και έχει ενεργοποιηθεί η παροχή ρεύµατος. Όταν ανοιχτεί η πόρτα το εσωτερικό φως θα ανάψει.

Και έχετε υπόψη σας ότι:

5. Θα ακούσετε ένα θόρυβο καθώς ξεκινά η λειτουργία του συµπιεστή. Τα υγρά και τα αέρια

µπορεί επίσης να δηµιουργούν κάποιο θόρυβο, είτε λειτουργεί ο συµπιεστής είτε όχι. Αυτό είναι πολύ φυσιολογικό.

6. Ένας ελαφρός κυµατισµός στο πάνω µέρος της καµπίνας είναι πολύ κανονικός λόγω της χρησιµοποιούµενης παραγωγικής διαδικασίας και δεν αποτελεί ελάττωµα.

7. Συνιστούµε να τοποθετείτε το περιστροφικό κουµπί σε µεσαία θέση και να παρακολουθείτε τη θερµοκρασία ώστε να βεβαιωθείτε ότι η συσκευή διατηρεί την επιθυµητή θερµοκρασία αποθήκευσης των τροφίµων (βλέπε ενότητα Έλεγχος και ρύθµιση θερµοκρασίας).

8. Μην τοποθετήσετε τρόφιµα στη συσκευή αµέσως µετά την ενεργοποίησή της. Περιµένετε έως ότου επιτευχθεί η σωστή θερµοκρασία

τη θερµοκρασία µε ένα ακριβές θερµόµετρο (βλέπε Έλεγχος και ρύθµιση θερµοκρασίας).

Αποθήκευση κατεψυγµένων τροφίµων

Ο καταψύκτης σας είναι κατάλληλος για µακρόχρονη διατήρηση εµπορικά διαθέσιµων κατεψυγµένων τροφίµων, καθώς και για την κατάψυξη και διατήρηση νωπών τροφίµων. Αν υπάρξει διακοπή ρεύµατος, µην ανοίγετε την

επηρεαστούν αν η διακοπή διαρκέσει λιγότερο από 19 ώρες. Αν η διακοπή διαρκέσει περισσότερο, τότε τα τρόφιµα θα πρέπει να

ελ

µαγειρευτούν και κατόπιν να καταψυχθούν πάλι.

Κατάψυξη νωπών τροφίµων

επιτύχετε τα καλύτερα αποτελέσµατα. Μην καταψύχετε ταυτόχρονα πολύ µεγάλη ποσότητα τροφίµων. Η ποιότητα των τροφίµων

πυρήνα τους όσο το δυνατόν συντοµότερα. Μην υπερβαίνετε την 24ωρη ικανότητα κατάψυξης της συσκευής σας. Η τοποθέτηση ζεστού φαγητού στο χώρο κατάψυξης προκαλεί συνεχή λειτουργία του µηχανισµού ψύξης έως ότου το φαγητό έχει παγώσει τελείως. Αυτό µπορεί προσωρινά να προκαλέσει υπερβολική ψύξη στο χώρο της συντήρησης. Όταν καταψύχετε νωπά τρόφιµα, διατηρείτε το περιστροφικό κουµπί ρύθµισης σε µεσαία θέση. Μικρές ποσότητες τροφίµων έως 1/2 κιλό (1 lb) µπορούν να καταψυχθούν χωρίς ρύθµιση του κουµπιού ελέγχου θερµοκρασίας. Φροντίζετε ιδιαίτερα να µην αναµιγνύετε ήδη κατεψυγµένα και νωπά τρόφιµα.

Πώς να φτιάχνετε παγάκια

Γεµίστε το δίσκο για παγάκια µε νερό ως τα 3/4 της στάθµης και βάλτε τον στην κατάψυξη. Ξεκολλήστε τους παγωµένους δίσκους µε τη λαβή ενός κουταλιού ή παρόµοιο όργανο. Ποτέ µη χρησιµοποιήσετε αιχµηρά αντικείµενα όπως µαχαίρια ή πιρούνια.

Απόψυξη

Α) Χώρος συντήρησης

Ο χώρος της συντήρησης αποψύχεται αυτόµατα. Το νερό από την απόψυξη κυλάει στο σωλήνα αποστράγγισης µέσω κοιλότητας που βρίσκεται στο πίσω τοίχωµα της συσκευής. Ελέγξτε ότι ο σωλήνας έχει τοποθετηθεί σταθερά, µε το άκρο του µέσα στο δίσκο συλλογής που βρίσκεται πάνω στο συµπιεστή, ώστε να εµποδίσετε να χυθεί το νερό στην ηλεκτρική εγκατάσταση ή το πάτωµα (σχήµα 6).

Β) Χώρος κατάψυξης

Η ΑΥΤΟΜΑΤΗ ΑΠΟΨΥΞΗ σηµαίνει ότι η απόψυξη γίνεται τελείως αυτόµατα. ∆εν απαιτείται καµία δική σας επέµβαση. Το νερό συλλέγεται σε ειδικό δίσκο στο συµπιεστή. Το νερό εξατµίζεται λόγω της θερµότητας που παράγει ο συµπιεστής

Μη χρησιµοποιείτε µυτερά ή αιχµηρά αντικείµενα όπως µαχαίρια ή πιρούνια για να αφαιρέσετε την πάχνη.

Ποτέ µη χρησιµοποιήσετε για την απόψυξη πιστολάκια µαλλιών, ηλεκτρικές συσκευές θέρµανσης ή άλλες παρόµοιες ηλεκτρικές συσκευές. Σκουπίστε µε ένα σφουγγάρι το νερό απόψυξης που συλλέγεται στο κάτω µέρος του χώρου κατάψυξης. Μετά την απόψυξη, στεγνώστε καλά το εσωτερικό (στοιχείο 7 & 8). Συνδέστε στην πρίζα το φις και ενεργοποιήστε την παροχή ρεύµατος.

Προειδοποιήσεις!

Οι ανεµιστήρες στο εσωτερικό του χώρου κατάψυξης και του χώρου συντήρησης εξασφαλίζουν την κυκλοφορία κρύου αέρα. Ποτέ µην εισάγετε

Μην επιτρέπετε σε παιδιά να παίζουν µε τον ανεµιστήρα του χώρου συντήρησης και του χώρου κατάψυξης. Ποτέ µην αποθηκεύσετε προϊόντα που περιέχουν εύφλεκτο προωθητικό αέριο (π.χ. δοχεία διανοµής, σπρέι κλπ.) ή εκρηκτικές ουσίες. Μην καλύπτετε τα ράφια µε οποιαδήποτε προστατευτικά υλικά, τα οποία µπορεί να εµποδίζουν την κυκλοφορία του αέρα. Μην επιτρέπετε σε παιδιά να παίζουν µε τη συσκευή ή να πειράζουν τα συστήµατα ελέγχου. Μην τοποθετείτε αντικείµενα µπροστά από τους προφυλακτήρες των ανεµιστήρων, για να εξασφαλίσετε το βέλτιστο αποτέλεσµα από τη συσκευή σας. (Εικ. 9

και Εικ. 10) Προειδοποίηση!

Η συσκευή διαθέτει ανεµιστήρα κυκλοφορίας ο οποίος είναι απαραίτητος για την καλή απόδοση του ψυγείου. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι οι ανεµιστήρες δεν µπλοκάρονται (δεν είναι σταµατηµένοι) και δεν εµποδίζονται από τρόφιµα ή συσκευασίες. Το µπλοκάρισµα (σταµάτηµα) ή παρεµπόδιση του ανεµιστήρα µπορεί να έχει ως αποτέλεσµα την αύξηση στην εσωτερική θερµοκρασία του χώρου κατάψυξης (απόψυξη των τροφίµων).

Αντικατάσταση της εσωτερικής λάµπας

Σε περίπτωση που η λάµπα πάψει να λειτουργεί, είναι εύκολο να αντικατασταθεί. Πρώτα βεβαιωθείτε ότι το ψυγείο / καταψύκτης έχει αποσυνδεθεί από την τροφοδοσία ρεύµατος αφαιρώντας το φις από την πρίζα. Πάρτε ένα κατσαβίδι µε ίσια µύτη και τοποθετήστε το προσεκτικά χωρίς να ασκήσετε δύναµη στο αριστερό διάκενο ανάµεσα στο κάλυµµα της λάµπας και το εσωτερικό του θαλάµου. Κατόπιν πιέστε τη λαβή του κατσαβιδιού προσεκτικά προς την αριστερή πλευρά έως ότου προσέξετε ότι έχει αποσυνδεθεί ο αριστερός πείρος του καλύµµατος. Επαναλάβετε αυτή τη διαδικασία στο δεξιό διάκενο, αλλά τώρα πιέστε τη λαβή του κατσαβιδιού προσεκτικά προς τη δεξιά πλευρά. Αν έχουν αποσυνδεθεί και οι δύο πλευρές, το κάλυµµα µπορεί να αφαιρεθεί εύκολα. Κατόπιν βεβαιωθείτε ότι η λάµπα είναι βιδωµένη καλά στην υποδοχή της. Συνδέστε τη συσκευή στην παροχή ρεύµατος. Αν το φως πάλι δεν λειτουργεί, προµηθευτείτε µια ανταλλακτική λάµπα E14 βιδωτού τύπου µέγ. ισχύος 15 Watt από το τοπικό σας κατάστηµα ηλεκτρικών ειδών και κατόπιν τοποθετήστε την. Πετάξτε αµέσως µε ασφαλή τρόπο την καµένη λάµπα. Αφού αλλάξετε τη λάµπα, τοποθετήστε πάλι το κάλυµµα στην αρχική του θέση. Φροντίστε το κάλυµµα να κουµπώσει σωστά.

Καθαρισµός και φροντίδα

1. Συνιστούµε πριν τον καθαρισµό να διακόπτετε την παροχή ρεύµατος στην πρίζα και να βγάζετε το φις την πρίζα.

2. Ποτέ µη χρησιµοποιήσετε για τον καθαρισµό οποιαδήποτε αιχµηρά εργαλεία ή υλικά που χαράζουν, σαπούνι, οικιακά καθαριστικά µέσα, απορρυπαντικά ή γυαλιστικά µε κερί.

3. Χρησιµοποιήστε χλιαρό νερό για να καθαρίσετε το περίβληµα της συσκευής και κατόπιν σκουπίστε το για να στεγνώσει.

4. Για να καθαρίσετε το εσωτερικό, χρησιµοποιήστε πανί που έχει υγρανθεί σε διάλυµα από µια κουταλιά τσαγιού µαγειρικής σόδας σε περίπου µισό λίτρο νερού. Κατόπιν σκουπίστε τις επιφάνειες για να στεγνώσουν.

5. Προσέξτε καλά να µην εισέλθει νερό στο περίβληµα του θερµοστάτη.

6. Εάν η συσκευή δεν πρόκειται να χρησιµοποιηθεί για µεγάλη χρονική περίοδο, απενεργοποιήστε την, αφαιρέστε όλα τα τρόφιµα, καθαρίστε την και αφήστε την πόρτα µισάνοιχτη.

7. Συνιστούµε να γυαλίζετε τα µεταλλικά µέρη του προϊόντος (π.χ. εξωτερικό µέρος της πόρτας, πλευρές του θαλάµου) µε κερί σιλικόνης (γυαλιστικό αυτοκινήτων) για να προστατεύσετε το υψηλής ποιότητας φινίρισµα.

8. Τυχόν σκόνη που έχει συσσωρευτεί στο συµπυκνωτή, που βρίσκεται στην πίσω πλευρά της συσκευής, θα πρέπει να αφαιρείται µια φορά το χρόνο µε ηλεκτρική σκούπα.

9. Ελέγχετε τακτικά τις στεγανοποιήσεις στις πόρτες για σωµατίδια τροφίµων.

10. Ποτέ:

• Μην καθαρίσετε τη συσκευή µε ακατάλληλα υλικά, π.χ. προϊόντα πετρελαϊκής βάσης.

• Μην την εκθέσετε µε οποιονδήποτε τρόπο σε υψηλές θερµοκρασίες.

• Μην την τρίψετε µε υλικά που χαράζουν.

11. Αφαίρεση του καλύµµατος γαλακτοκοµικών προϊόντων και ραφιού πόρτας:

• Για να αφαιρέσετε το κάλυµµα των

γαλακτοκοµικών προϊόντων, πρώτα σηκώστε το προς τα πάνω περίπου 2,5 εκ. και τραβήξτε το από την πλευρά όπου υπάρχει ένα άνοιγµα στο κάλυµµα.

• Για να αφαιρέσετε ένα ράφι πόρτας, αφαιρέστε όλα τα περιεχόµενα και κατόπιν απλά σπρώξτε το ράφι προς τα πάνω ώστε να βγει από τη βάση του.

12. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι ο ειδικός πλαστικός δίσκος συλλογής νερού απόψυξης στο πίσω µέρος της συσκευής είναι πάντα καθαρός. Αν θέλετε να αφαιρέσετε το δίσκο για να τον καθαρίσετε, ακολουθήστε τις εξής οδηγίες:

• ∆ιακόψτε την παροχή ρεύµατος στην πρίζα και τραβήξτε το φις από την πρίζα.

• Με µια πένσα απαλά αποσυνδέστε το στέλεχος στο συµπιεστή ώστε να µπορεί να αφαιρεθεί ο δίσκος.

• Σηκώστε το δίσκο για να βγει.

• Καθαρίστε τον και σκουπίστε τον για να στεγνώσει

• Τοποθετήστε τον πάλι, αντιστρέφοντας τη σειρά και τις ενέργειες

13. Για να αφαιρέσετε ένα συρτάρι, τραβήξτε το

έξω όσο το δυνατόν περισσότερο, ανασηκώστε το προς τα επάνω και κατόπιν τραβήξτε το τελείως έξω.

Τι πρέπει και τι δεν πρέπει να κάνετε

Πρέπει να- Καθαρίζετε τακτικά τη συσκευή σας. Πρέπει να- ∆ιατηρείτε ωµό κρέας και ωµά πουλερικά

σε κατώτερη θέση από µαγειρεµένο φαγητό και γαλακτοκοµικά προϊόντα.

Πρέπει να- Αφαιρείτε άχρηστα φύλλα από τα

λαχανικά και να σκουπίζετε τυχόν ακαθαρσίες.

Πρέπει να- Αφήνετε το µαρούλι, το λάχανο, το

µαϊντανό και το κουνουπίδι µε το κοτσάνι τους.

Πρέπει να- Τυλίγετε το τυρί πρώτα σε χαρτί

αδιαπέραστο σε λάδι και κατόπιν σε να αποµακρύνετε όσο το δυνατόν

περισσότερο αέρα. Για βέλτιστα αποτελέσµατα, βγάζετέ το από το ψυγείο µια ώρα πριν την κατανάλωση.

Πρέπει να- Τυλίγετε το ωµό κρέας και τα ωµά

πουλερικά χαλαρά σε πλαστική µεµβράνη ή αλουµινόχαρτο. Αυτό εµποδίζει να χάσουν την υγρασία τους.

Πρέπει να- Τυλίγετε τα ψάρια και τα εντόσθια σε

σακούλες πολυαιθυλενίου.

Πρέπει να- Τυλίγετε τρόφιµα µε έντονη οσµή ή που

κινδυνεύουν να χάσουν την υγρασία τους σε σακούλες πολυαιθυλενίου ή αλουµινόχαρτο ή να τα τοποθετείτε σε αεροστεγές δοχείο.

Πρέπει να- Τυλίγετε το ψωµί καλά ώστε να

διατηρείται φρέσκο.

Πρέπει να- Ψύχετε λευκά κρασιά, µπύρα, µπύρα

λάγκερ, µεταλλικό νερό πριν να τα σερβίρετε.

Πρέπει να- Ελέγχετε κατά διαστήµατα τα περιεχόµενα

της κατάψυξης.

Πρέπει να- ∆ιατηρείτε τα τρόφιµα όσο το δυνατόν

µικρότερο χρόνο και να τηρείτε τις ηµεροµηνίες που αναφέρονται στα σηµεία "Καλύτερο πριν", "Κατανάλωση πριν" κλπ.

Πρέπει να- Αποθηκεύετε τα κατεψυγµέ

εµπορίου σύµφωνα µε τις οδηγίες που αναφέρονται στη συσκευασία.

Πρέπει να- Επιλέγετε πάντα φρέσκα τρόφιµα υψηλής

ποιότητας και να βεβαιώνεστε ότι έχουν καθαριστεί σχολαστικά πριν τα καταψύξετε.

Πρέπει να- Προετοιµάζετε τα νωπά τρόφιµα προς

κατάψυξη σε µικρές µερίδες για να εξασφαλίζεται ταχύτατη κατάψυξη.

Πρέπει να- Τυλίγετε όλα τα τρόφιµα σε

αλουµινόχαρτο ή σακούλες πολυαιθυλενίου ειδικές για χρήση σε κατάψυξη και να βεβαιώνεστε ότι αφαιρείται τυχόν αέρας.

Πρέπει να- Τυλίγετε τα κατεψυγµένα τρόφιµα αµέσως

µετά την αγορά τους και να τα τοποθετείτε στον καταψύκτη όσο το δυνατόν συντοµότερα.

Για να διατηρήσει σταθερή την επιλεγµένη θερµοκρασία, η συσκευή σας περιοδικά ενεργοποιεί το συµπιεστή. Οι θόρυβοι που προκύπτουν είναι πολύ φυσιολογικοί.

Ο θόρυβος, φυσαλίδων, γουργουρητού ή συριγµού εκπέµπονται από το ψυκτικό µέσο, καθώς αυτό κυλά µε΄σα στους σωλήνες.

Ο θόρυβος τύπου κλικ µπορεί να ακούγεται πάντα όταν το περιστροφικό κουµπί ρύθµισης ενεργοποιεί/απενεργοποιεί το µοτέρ. Ένας θόρυβος κλικ µπορεί να προκύψει όταν

- το αυτόµατο σύστηµα απόψυξης είναι ενεργό.

- η συσκευή κρυώνει ή θερµαίνεται (διαστολή υλικών).

Αν αυτοί οι θόρυβοι είναι υπερβολικά δυνατοί, οι αιτίες κατά πάσα πιθανότητα δεν είναι σοβαρές και είναι εύκολο να εξαλειφθούν.

- Η συσκευή δεν είναι οριζόντια - Χρησιµοποιήστε τα ρυθµιζόµενου ύψους πόδια ή τοποθετήστε υπόθεµα κάτω από τα πόδια.

- Η συσκευή δεν είναι αυτόνοµη - Μετακινήστε τη συσκευή µακριά από µονάδες κουζίνας ή άλλες συσκευές.

- Συρτάρια, καλάθια ή ράφια είναι χαλαρά ή κολλάνε Ελέγξτε τα αποσπώµενα εξαρτήµατα και αν χρειάζεται επανατοποθετήστε τα.

- Μπουκάλια και/ή υποδοχές έρχονται σε επαφή Μετακινήστε τις µπουκάλες και/ή τις υποδοχές ώστε να µην έρχονται σε επαφή.

Αντιµετώπιση προβληµάτων

Αν η συσκευή δεν λειτουργεί όταν την ενεργοποιήσετε, ελέγξτε:

• Ότι το φις έχει τοποθετηθεί σωστά στην πρίζα και είναι ενεργοποιηµένη η παροχή ρεύµατος (για να ελέγξετε την παροχή ρεύµατος στην πρίζα, συνδέστε µια άλλη συσκευή)

• Μήπως έχει καεί η ασφάλεια/έχει πέσει ο διακόπτης ασφαλείας/έχει απενεργοποιηθεί ο γενικός διακόπτης ρεύµατος.

• Ότι η ρύθµιση θερµοκρασίας έχει γίνει σωστά.

• Ότι η καλωδίωση τυχόν νέου φις είναι σωστή, σε

περίπτωση που έχετε αντικαταστήσει το

εγκατεστηµένο, χυτό φις. Αν η συσκευή συνεχίζει να µη λειτουργεί καθόλου µετά τους πιο πάνω ελέγχους, επικοινωνήστε µε το κατάστηµα από το οποίο προµηθευτήκατε τη µονάδα. Παρακαλούµε βεβαιωθείτε ότι έχετε διενεργήσει τους παραπάνω ελέγχους, καθώς θα υπάρξει χρέωση ακόµα κι αν δεν διαπιστωθούν βλάβες.
