Tools Needed: #2 Phillips Head Screw Driver – “Not Included” + screwdriver and 9mm wrench for transformer
Do not use power tools to assemble. Only use hand tools, as power tools can damage or loosen the nutsert.
Before getting started:
-Use an assistant in the assembly of this grill cart as some of the parts are heavy and can be awkward to work with.
-Unpack and lay out all of the included parts. Most of the stainless steel pieces come with a white or blue protective film. Remove all of the protective film and pay no attention to the print on the film as it has nothing to do with the assembly instructions.
-Take caution with the stainless steel components as to not scratch them during the assembly process. Use a non-aggressive surface and protect the stainless steel as best as possible.
Identify and separate the screws in the hardware pack. There are 4 different screws in the hardware pack that are used throughout the assembly of the grill cart. Don’t be alarmed should you have extra screws than what is listed below as this is typical.
-Attaching casters to the bottom of the grill cart. Screws used will be M6x16 screws paired with a M6 lock washer first, and then a M6 flat washer. (these are the second longest and widest of the screws in the package and you will need 16 of these screws, lock washers, and flat washers in the package)
-Attaching the LP Tank Support bolt: Screws used will be a M5x12. (these are one of the two shorter screws in the package and can be identified by being the wider of the two without having corresponding nuts that go with them. You will need 18 of these screws throughout the assembly and will use 2 during this step. )
-Attaching shelves to cart: Screws used will be a M5x12. (these are one of the two shorter screws in the package and can be identified by being the wider of the two without having corresponding nuts that go with them. You will need 18 of these screws throughout the assembly and will use 16 during this step.)
-Attaching the transformer to the grill cart: Screws used will be a M4x12 screw and a M4 nut. (these are one of the two shorter screws in the package and can be identified by being the thinner of the two with having corresponding nuts that go with them. You will need 4 of each for this step.)
-Attaching the handles to the cart doors and or drawers. These are the only screws that will not be found in the hardware pack as they are packaged with the handles themselves.
-Attaching the grill head to the cart: Screws used will be a M5x25 screw. (these are the longest screws in the package and you will need 2 screws for this step.)
1. Attaching casters to grill cart – Using your assistant and taking care as to not scratch the cart,
lay the grill cart on its back to expose the 4 locations where the casters install. Using the hardware mentioned above, attach the 4 casters using 4 screws and 4 lock + flat washers per caster. Tighten completely and lock the casters in place via the locking mechanism on each caster. Flip the cart right side up on the casters where it will remain for the rest of the assembly process.
2. Remove the shipping support bar - Towards the front of the grill cart, you will find a metal
support bar running from left to right that needs to be removed. This is sent for shipping purposes and can be discarded after removing. (some models)
3. Attach the LP Tank Support – This piece gets installed on the underneath side of the cart with
the two screws going into it from the top of the bottom cart panel. The large bolt on the LP tank support threads into the LP tank’s lower ring to hold it firmly onto the cart bottom. Install the LP tank support with two screws and tighten.
4. Attach Side Shelves – When installing the shelf brackets, there will be two identical pairs with
one from each pair being used per shelf. To insure proper installation make sure the arrow is pointing up and the side mounted pegs are pointing outward. Attach the left hand bracket using the 4 fasteners listed above but do not tighten. There is a groove cut in each side of the shelf which accepts the male post on the bracket. Place the shelf groove into the attached left hand bracket first and hold it in place. Place the right hand bracket into the shelf then hold it into position on the cart where the bracket mounts to the cart. Four screws per shelf are used to attach to the right and left side panels. Both shelves are exactly the same and can be used on either side. Start all 4 screws into the side panel as the shelf can then simply be placed over the screws and pushed downward in place. Once in place, tighten completely.
5. Attach the Transformer- The transformer mounting position is located on the back cart panel
and will have 4 screw openings that match with the mounting section of the transformer. Install the transformer on the inside of the grill cart and attach with the 4 fasteners and screws mentioned above.
