FULL FEATURED KEYLESS ENTRY SYSTEM with Optional Starter Defeat
USER INSTRUCTIONS
Congratulations on the purchase of your keyless entry system. Your system is designed, engineered, and assembled in the U.S.A. using the latest state of the art technology.Your system is designed to give you trouble free operation for years to come.The system includes an LED, and override/valet switch, two remote controls and the main control module.
Locking Operation: To lock the system. Press button 1 on the remote.The LED will start slowly flashing. If the optional starter defeat is installed, the starter will be disabled.
Unlocking Operation: Press button 2 on the remote.The LED will stop flashing and the optional starter defeat will be disengaged. If the optional two-step unlock feature is installed, pressing button 2 will unlock only the driver’s door. Pressing button 2 again within two seconds will unlock all remaining doors.
Illuminated Entry (Optional): When this optional feature is installed, the vehicle’s interior lights will illuminate when you unlock your system, and remain on for 30 seconds or until the ignition is turned on.
Important Note: Some features described in this manual may not be compatible with some vehicles, and may require extra parts and/or labor. See your installer for details.
Passive Starter Defeat (Optional):If the optional starter defeat is installed,your system can be programmed to automatically disable the starter 45 seconds after turning off the ignition.The LED will double flash and the vehicle’s starter will be disengaged as an extra measure of security in the event the vehicle is mistakenly left unlocked.
Horn Output (optional): Your system can also be connected to your vehicle’s horn.The horn will provide confirmation chirps when you lock or unlock the system.
Remote Panic (Optional): If the optional horn honk output is installed, pressing button 4 for three seconds will trigger the Panic mode. The horn will honk and parking lights will flash for 30 seconds, or until button 4 is pressed again.
Ignition Trigger (Optional):After the system is remotely locked, turning on the ignition before remotely unlocking the system activates the ignition trigger feature. The horn will honk and the parking lights will flash for 30 seconds. To deactivate the feature once triggered, press button 4 on the transmitter or use the override procedure (see below).
Overriding the System: If the optional starter defeat is installed and your remote is lost or fails to operate, you can manually override the starter defeat. Turn on the ignition, then press the override/valet switch for two seconds. The starter defeat will disengage and the system will enter valet mode.
Auxiliary Output (Optional): The auxiliary output may be used to activate an optional feature such as trunk release. Press and hold button 3 for three seconds to activate.
