SET-UP GUIDE
Congratulations on buying this Blackstar Sonnet Series amplifier
The Sonnet Series are innovative acoustic amps with natural response and tone. Featuring two channels, Shape switch and adjustable
HPF and Brilliance controls – hear your acoustic instrument, the way it was meant to be heard.
GETTING STARTED
1. MAINS INPUT
Connect the mains lead to
the amplier Mains Input.

SETTING UP
1. ¼" JACK INPUT
Plug your instrument in here. Always use a good quality screened guitar lead.

INPUT 2 - MICROPHONE
2. XLR INPUT
Connect an XLR for microphone or high-impedance instrument inputs.

3. CHOOSE YOUR SOUND
Set your LOW, MID and HIGH to ne tune your acoustic guitar’s tone.

4. PHASE
Phase can be switched to control any
feedback between the instrument and
the amp.

5. SHAPE
Choose between two EQ shapes. ‘Out’
position; a relatively at, good natural
sound for most instruments. ‘In’ position;
a mid cut, with some low and high boost
for an alternative sound.

6. REVERB
Select between 2 Reverb types, Hall or
Plate. Adjust the level using the Reverb
control for each channel. Adjust the
Reverb tail length using the Time control.

7. HIGH PASS FILTER &
BRILLIANCE
Fine tune the resonance of your instrument
or roll off low-end frequencies from your
amplier’s output using the High Pass
Filter trim pot. Increase or decrease higher
frequencies using the Brilliance trim pot
e.g. piezo pickup high-end. Both help with
denition in a mix with other instruments.

BLUETOOTH
DISCOVERABLE MODE (Single LED flash):
to pair press and hold the Bluetooth button for
2 seconds and simply go to the devices page
of your Bluetooth device, select your SONNET,
then play your music.
NOTE: Press and
hold Bluetooth
button for 2 seconds
to toggle between
Discoverable and
Scanning modes, or to
disconnect the current
connected device.
SCANNING MODE (Double LED flash):
reconnect automatically to a previously
paired device, or press again to enter
Discoverable Mode.
TILT STAND XXXXXX
Easily adjust the angle of your Sonnet 60 using the
built-in TILT STAND.
ALSO AVAILABLE: Attach your SONNET
60/120 to a standard 35mm P.A. stand
using the SA-2 STAND ADAPTOR.
