CAUTION
GENERAL
- Read all instructions carefully for safe operation and installation.
- All electrical connections must be in accordance with local and national electrical code (N.E.C) standards.
- Remove the fixture and the mounting package from the box and make sure that no parts are missing by
referencing the illustrations on the installation instruction. Please contact Blackjack Lighting if any parts
are missing or damaged.
- This product is suitable for damp locations.
INSTALLATION
PREPARATION
1. Unpack all the bundled wire packages. Be careful not to bend or kink
The wires when unpacking them. Remove the additional package with
the decorative light guides(18). Remove the ceiling plate(10) from the
canopy cover(11) by loosening the four decorative finials(12).
2. This fixture must be mounted into a rigid ceiling material(sheet
rock, fire rated plywood or similar) that can support the weight of
the fixture and accept drywall anchors, expandable fasteners or
similar structural fasteners.
MOUNTING
3. Place the ceiling plate(10) over the outlet box(1). It is
recommended to start over a junction box. Drill support holes in
the ceiling using an appropriately sized drill bit. Insert the provided
ceiling anchors(19) into the holes. First screw the anchor screws(20)
halfway into the ceiling anchors; when the ceiling plate(10) is properly
aligned in the installation, fully tighten all the anchor screws. Insert
the mounting screws(9) through the slots in the ceiling plate(10).
Secure them tightly into the outlet box(1)
4. Pull the supply wires(2&4) and the house ground wire(4) out of
the outlet box(1) and thread them through the large center hole
in the ceiling plate(10). If this fixture will be attached to a 0-10V
dimmer (optional), also pull the two 0-10V dimming wires through
the large center hole.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
5. Using the wire connectors(8), connect the white supply wire(2)
to the white fixture wire(3), connect the black supply wire(4) to
the black fixture wire(5), and connect the house ground wire(6)
to the fixture ground wire(7).
FINAL ASSEMBLY
6. To install the light guides(18), simply screw the light guide(18)
into the socket(17).

7. Determine the approximate length of each suspension cable. If in doubt about exact length needed, leave a little
extra cable until final installation of canopy cover(11). Push the excess cable into the canopy(11) by pressing the small
barrel of the gripper(16) upward. This will release the cable tension and allow the suspended cable to be pulled through
the gripper(16). Roll the excess cable into a small loop inside the canopy(11). Use the supplied Velcro strap, attached to
each cable in the canopy cover(11), to wrap around this loop to keep the excess cable from falling outside the
canopy(11).
8. Suspend the canopy cover(11) from the ceiling plate(10) by attaching three support loops(15) to mating hooks(14). .
9. Make sure all the cables are carefully placed inside canopy cover(11) and make sure the to align the orientation
arrows. Secure the canopy cover(11) to the ceiling plate(10) by tightening the four decorative finials(12). Once the
canopy(11) is in place, fine tune the cable lengths longer or shorter using the adjustable gripper(16) so that each light
guide(18) is adjusted to its preferred length.
10. Once the length of each cable is at its desired length, any remaining bends or kinks in the cable can be straightened
by bending out the kinks by hand while heating the cable with the warm air from a hair dryer or heat gun. Once all kinks
are out final length adjustments can be made.
DIMMING
- Fixture Dimming Type: TRIAC, ELV, or 0-10V dimmable.
