only.

Using your appliance

Additional safety instructions for
Rice Cookers

Warning! Do not place near a hot

gas or electric oven.

• Use the original inner pot only.

• Do not use this cooker to boil acid and
alkaline foodstuff, or for other purposes.

• Be sure to keep the space between the

inner pot and the heating plate clean and
free of water, dust, rice grains or any

other foreign matter. If not, the cooker’s
performance will be affected and in

serious case, its element will burn out.

• Do not use this Rice Cooker to boil water.

• Do not slant the inner pot, otherwise its

bottom will not be in full contact with the
heating plate and its element will burn
out.

Use

• Put rice into the inner pot (6), use the

level on the surface of the inner pot to
adjust the water level. For example, if you
cook 15 cups of rice, add water to level
“15”.

Note: Since the level shows standard water

levels, adjust the water volume according to
your own choice.

• Don’t forget to clean and dry the outer

surface of the inner pot before placing
into the cooker, turn it lightly right and
left, to position it correctly on the

heating plate (8).

• Cover with lid (3). Plug the power plug
(11) into the wall outlet. Switch on (14).
The red Cook Light (12) will turn on.

• When rice is done, the switch will turn off
automatically. The red Cook Light (12)
will turn off and the yellow Keep Warm
Light (13) will turn on, keep the lid

covered for more than 10 minutes to
ensure that the rice is thoroughly
cooked.

• The rice cooker will automatically keep

rice warm at 60ºC - 80ºC. When the rice
temperature dips below this range, the

yellow Keep warm light (13) will turn off
and the red Cook Light (12) will turn on

indicating that the heat preservation
process has begun. When the rice
temperature reach 60ºC, the Keep Warm

Light (13) will once again turn on and the
Cook Light (12) will turn off.

Caution: The Rice Cooker will generate Heat

during Cooking. Make sure lid is secure.

Warning! The Rice Cooker will be
hot during Cooking, do not attempt

to remove the Inner Pot until the cooking
process has finished. Steam may be

emmitted during use.

Steaming Tray

You can use the steaming tray (5) to steam
food during rice cooking. If you just want to
steam food only, add some water (not more
than 1/2 pot volume ) into the Inner pot (6)

and follow the above steps on using the

appliance. The cooker will turn off

automatically when water inside is
vaporized.

Caution: Hot steam will generate during

steaming. Make sure lid is secure.

Warning! The handle of steaming

tray is hot during steaming, do not
attempt to remove the steaming tray until
the cooking process has finished.

Cleaning and maintenance

Warning! Before cleaning and

maintenance, switch the appliance

off and remove the plug from the socket.

• Do not immerse the Rice Cooker into

liquid.

• Never use diluent or benzene, chemical

wiping cloths, plastic brush or metal
brush.

• Put the pot and the lid into water, use a

sponge to, clean them, and wipe them
dry.

Note: Be sure to clean the inner pot entirely
after using salt for cooking, otherwise it
may cause corrosion.

• Handle the inner pot with care, never

deform it.

• Use a wet cloth to wipe the debris off

the main body.

• Use a cloth with diluted detergent to

clean the main body. Wipe the detergent

off after cleaning.

• Keep the power cord, control panel clean

and dry, otherwise it may cause
problems.

• Clean the heating plate and temperature

limiting component with a well-wrung

wet cloth. It may affect rice cooking if

there is rice grain or other debris on it,
you can use a bamboo piece or a
wooden stick to clear it.

Utilisation

• Placez le riz dans le bol de cuisson (6),

utilisez les marques de niveau d’eau
situées à l’intérieur du bol de cuisson
pour ajuster la quantité d’eau nécessaire.

Par exemple, si vous cuisez 15 tasses de

riz, ajoutez de l’eau jusqu’au niveau “15”.

Remarque: Comme les marques indiquent
des niveaux d’eau standards, ajustez la
quantité d’eau selon vos besoins.

• N’oubliez pas de nettoyer et d’essuyer les

parois externes du bol de cuisson avant
de le placer à l’intérieur du cuiseur,
tournez-le légèrement à droite et à
gauche pour le positionner correctement

sur la plaque chauffante (8).

• Posez le couvercle (3). Branchez la fiche

(11) dans la prise murale. Appuyez sur
l’interrupteur de mise en marche (14). Le
témoin lumineux de cuisson rouge (12)

s’allume.

• Lorsque le riz est cuit, l’interrupteur

s’éteint automatiquement. Le témoin

lumineux de cuisson rouge (12) s’éteint et

le témoin lumineux de garde-au-chaud

jaune (13) s’allume, laissez le couvercle

pour encore 10 minutes pour laisser le riz
finir de cuire.

• Le cuiseur à riz garde le riz au chaud

automatiquement à une température de
60ºC à 80ºC. Lorsque la température du
riz baisse en dessous, le témoin lumineux

de garde-au-chaud jaune (13) s’éteint et
le témoin lumineux de cuisson rouge (12)

s’allume indiquant que le processus de
maintien de la chaleur a commencé.
Lorsque la température du riz atteint
60ºC, le témoin lumineux de

garde-au-chaud jaune (13) s’allume à

nouveau et le témoin lumineux de

cuisson (12) s’éteint.

Avertissement: Le cuiseur à riz dégage de la
chaleur pendant la cuisson. Assurez-vous
que le couvercle est bien en place.

Attention! Le cuiseur à riz devient
chaud pendant la cuisson,
n’essayez pas d’enlever le bol de

cuisson avant la fin du cycle de
cuisson. De la vapeur peut s’échapper
pendant la cuisson.

Panier vapeur

Vous pouvez utiliser le panier vapeur (5)

pour cuire des aliments pendant la cuisson

du riz. Si vous souhaitez seulement cuire

des aliments à la vapeur, ajoutez un peu

d’eau (pas plus de la moitié du bol) dans le
bol de cuisson (6) et suivez les étapes

mentionnées plus haut pour utiliser
l’appareil. Le cuiseur s’arrête
automatiquement dès que l’eau s’est
entièrement évaporée.

Avertissement: La cuisson à la vapeur
génère de la vapeur brûlante. Assurez-vous
que le couvercle est bien en place.

Attention! La poignée du panier

vapeur est chaude pendant la

cuisson à la vapeur, n’essayez pas

de retirer le panier vapeur avant la
fin du cycle de cuisson.

Nettoyage et entretien

Attention! Avant d’eectuer toute

opération de nettoyage ou

d’entretien, éteignez l’appareil et
débranchez la fiche de la prise.

• Ne plonger pas le cuiseur à riz dans un

liquide.

• N’utilisez pas de diluant ou de benzène,

ni de lingettes pré- imbibées de produits
chimiques, ni de brosses en plastique ou
en métal.

• Placez le bol cuisson et le couvercle dans

de l’eau, utilisez une éponge pour les
nettoyer et essuyez-les pour les sécher.

Remarque: Assurez-vous de bien nettoyer le
bol cuisson si vous avez utilisé du sel dans la
cuisson pour éviter une corrosion possible.

• Manipulez le bol cuisson avec soin, ne le

déformez pas.

• Utilisez un chiffon humide pour essuyer

les résidus sur le corps de l’appareil.

• Utilisez un chiffon avec un détergent

dilué pour nettoyer le corps principal de
l’appareil. Rincez le détergent après le
nettoyage.

• Gardez le cordon d’alimentation et le

panneau de commande propres et secs
pour éviter tout problème.

• Nettoyez la plaque chauffante et

l’élément limiteur de température avec
un chion humide bien essoré. La
présence de grains de riz ou d’autres
résidus sur cette plaque peut aecter la
cuisson du riz et vous pouvez utiliser une
baguette de bambou ou une cuillère en
bois pour les enlever.

Utilização

• Coloque o arroz no recipiente interno

(6), use o nível na superfície do
recipiente interno para ajustar o nível da
água. Por exemplo, se cozinhar 15
chávenas de arroz, adicione a água para
o nível «15».

Nota: Como o nível mostra os níveis de
água padrão, ajuste o volume de água de
acordo com a sua própria escolha.

• Não se esqueça de limpar e secar a

superfície externa do recipiente interno
antes de colocar na panela, vire-a
levemente para a direita e para a
esquerda, para a posicionar
corretamente na placa de aquecimento
(8).

• Cubra com a tampa (3). Insira a ficha

elétrica (11) na tomada da parede. Ligar
(14). A luz cozinhar vermelha (12)
acende.

• Quando o arroz estiver pronto, o

interruptor desliga automaticamente. A
luz cozinhar vermelha (12) desliga e a luz
de manter quente amarela (13) acende,
mantenha a tampa fechada por mais de
10 minutos para garantir que o arroz está
completamente cozinhado.

• A panela de arroz irá automaticamente

manter o arroz quente a 60ºC - 80ºC.
Quando a temperatura do arroz
mergulha abaixo deste intervalo, a luz de
manter quente amarela (13) desliga e a
luz de cozinhar vermelha (12) liga-se,
indicando que o processo de
preservação do calor começou. Quando
a temperatura do arroz atingir os 60 ºC,
a luz manter quente (13) liga de novo e a
luz cozinhar (12) desliga-se.

Aviso: A panela de arroz irá gerar calor
enquanto cozinha. Verifique se a tampa está
segura.

Atenção! A panela de arroz ficará
quente durante o cozimento, não

tente remover o recipiente interno
até que o processo de cozimento tenha
terminado. O vapor pode ser emitido
durante a utilização.

Tabuleiro a vapor

Pode utilizar o tabuleiro a vapor (5) para o
vapor de alimentos durante o cozimento do

arroz. Se quiser apenas vapor para os

alimentos, adicione alguma água (não mais
do que 1/2 do volume do recipiente) no
recipiente interno (6) e siga os passos
acima sobre a utilização do aparelho. A
panela desliga automaticamente quando a
água dentro está vaporizada.

Aviso: Durante a vaporização irá gerar-se
vapor quente. Verifique se a tampa está
segura.

Atenção! A pega do tabuleiro a

vapor fica quente durante a

vaporização, não tente remover o

tabuleiro de vapor até que o
processo de cozimento tenha terminado.

Limpeza e manutenção

Atenção! Antes de limpar e fazer a

manutenção, desligue o aparelho e

retire a ficha da tomada.

• Não mergulhe a panela de arroz em

líquido.

• Nunca utilize diluente ou benzina, panos

de limpeza química, escova de plástico
ou escova de metal.

• Coloque o recipiente e a tampa em água,

utilize uma esponja para os limpar e
secar.

Nota: Certifique-se de limpar o recipiente
interno completamente após o utilizar sal
para cozinhar, caso contrário pode causar
corrosão.
