Intended use

Your Black & Decker citrus juicer has been
designed for juicing citrus fruits. This product is
intended for household use only.

Read this entire manual carefully
before using the appliance.

Electrical safety

Before use, check that the mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage on the rating plate.

This appliance is double insulated in
accordance with EN 60335-2-14;
therefore no earth wire is required.

 To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not

immerse the cord, plug or motor unit in water or
other liquid.

 Check that the supply voltage shown on the

rating plate of the appliance matches that of
your electrical system. Any connection error
will invalidate the guarantee.

Assembly

 This appliance is supplied fully assembled &

only requires parts to be cleaned before use.
See “Cleaning” for details.

1. Fit the jug (5) onto the motor base (6), turn it
anti-clockwise to lock it onto the motor base.

2. Clip the required reamer (2 or 3) into the
adjustable pulp strainer (4).

3. Place the reamer / adjustable pulp strainer
assembly over the spindle of the motor base
ensure that the handle on the pulp strainer
slots in to the handle of the jug.

Note: With the adjustable pulp strainer in place
you can adjust the grade of the strainer by
moving the pulp strainer handle left and right.
This allows you to alter the amount of pulp you
will get in your juice.

Use

 Prepare the fruit by rolling it gently between the

hands for a moment or two then cut it in half.

 Connect the appliance to a suitable electrical

supply.

 Press the cut face onto the reamer. Pressing

on the reamer will start the motor in the base.
The reamer will rotate, cutting into the fruit and
the juice will flow into the jug.

Note: Ensure fingers & hands do not touch the
reamer during operation. Never allow loose
clothing, jewelery, hair, etc. to come in contact
with moving parts.
 The juicer will automatically stop once you stop

applying downward pressure on the reamer (2)
with the fruit.

 Once juicing is completed, the lid (1) can be

placed over the unit.

 The jug (4) can be removed & used to serve

the juice.

The appliance should be disconnected

from the mains supply before removing
the jug.

After 3 minutes of use, the Juicer should be
allowed to cool completely before further use.

Useful advice

 Choose fresh, ripe fruit as they will yield more

juice.

 Drink the juice immediately after you have

extracted it. If it is exposed to air for some time,
the juice will lose its taste and nutritional value.

Maintenance & cleaning

 The appliance is easier to clean if you do so

immediately after use.

 Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, scourers,

acetone, alcohol etc. to clean the appliance.

 All detachable plastic parts are dishwasher-

safe.

 Place the detachable plastic parts on the top

tray of the dishwasher. Make sure they are
placed well away from the heating element.

 Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.
 Never immerse the motor unit in water nor

rinse it under the tap.

Mains plug replacement

If a new mains plug needs to be fitted:

 Safely dispose of the old plug
 Connect the brown lead to the live terminal of

the new plug

 Connect the blue lead to the neutral terminal

 If the product is class I (earthed), connect the

green/yellow lead to the earth terminal.

spremiagrumi desiderato (2 o 3) sul filtro polpa
regolabile (4).

c. Appoggiare il cono

spremiagrumi / filtro polpa regolabile
sull’alberino della base motore e accertarsi che
il manico del filtro polpa si infili su quello della
caraffa.

Nota: Dopo averlo montato, è possibile regolare
il livello di filtraggio del filtro polpa spostandone il
manico verso sinistra o verso destra. In questo
modo è possibile scegliere la quantità di polpa
presente nel succo.



Utilizzo

 Preparare il frutto facendolo rotolare

gentilmente tra le mani per pochi istanti
e quindi tagliarlo a metà.

 Collegare l’elettrodomestico a una presa di

corrente idonea.

 Premere la parte tagliata del frutto sul cono

spremiagrumi. Premendo il cono spremiagrumi
si avvia il motore nella base. Il cono
spremiagrumi ruoterà, penetrando nel frutto
e facendo colare il succo nella caraffa.

Nota: Assicurarsi che dita e mani non tocchino
il cono spremiagrumi durante il funzionamento.
Non lasciare che vestiti larghi, gioielli, capelli,
ecc. vengano a contatto delle parti in movimento.
 Lo spremiagrumi si spegne automaticamente

quando si smette di premere il cono (2) con il
frutto.

 Dopo aver terminato la spremitura, è possibile

mettere il coperchio (1) sull’elettrodomestico.

 La caraffa (4) può essere rimossa e usata per

servire il succo.

L’elettrodomestico deve essere

scollegato dall’alimentazione elettrica

prima di rimuovere la caraffa.

Dopo 3 minuti d’uso, lasciare raffreddare
completamente lo spremiagrumi prima di
continuare.

Consigli utili

 Scegliere frutta fresca e matura, che produrrà

più succo.

 Bere il succo subito dopo averlo spremuto.

Se rimane esposto all’aria per un po’ di tempo,
perde il sapore e il valore nutritivo.

Pulizia e manutenzione

 È più facile pulire l’elettrodomestico

immediatamente dopo l’uso.

 Non usare prodotti di pulizia abrasivi,

pagliette, acetone, alcool, ecc., per pulire
l’elettrodomestico.

 Tutte le parti in plastica rimovibili possono

essere lavate nella lavastoviglie.

Συναρμολόγηση

a. Τοποθετήστε την κανάτα (5) επάνω στη βάση

του μοτέρ (6), στρέψτε την αριστερόστροφα
για να ασφαλίσει επάνω στη βάση του μοτέρ.

b. Ασφαλίστε τον απαιτούμενο κώνο (2 ή 3) στο

ρυθμίσιμο σουρωτήρι (4).
