he Ethernet Quick Check
(TS030A) was designed
specifically for the Ethernet user
or technician. BNC and RJ-45
jacks enable continuity testing of
the two most popular transmission media (10BASE-T and
10BASE2).
The unique slide-lock
mechanism joins master and
remote sections for singlehanded patch cord testing. You
can separate the units for testing
horizontal UTP runs as well as
Thin Ethernet coaxial buses.
The Multi Quick Check (TS031)
provides instant verification of
common UTP network wiring
schemes following EIA/TIA 568A
or B pairing. Ethernet 10BASE-T,
Token Ring, and TP-PMD wiring
can all be tested with this device.

With the BNC Coax Quick
Check (TS032A), you can benchtest coaxial cabling with BNC
connectors. This device tests for
shorts and opens. Exclusive
circuitry locks onto intermittent
shorts (the most common failure
in coaxial cabling). Interseries
adapters can be used for testing
coaxial cabling using connectors
other than BNCs.
The Pro Quick Check (TS038A)
verifies cabling for Ethernet
10BASE-T, Token Ring, and TPPMD.
Sequencing LEDs on the Pro
Quick Check verify continuity of 4pair UTP/FTP cabling that
conforms to EIA/TIA568 A or B
pair designations.
It tests for the presence of
shield in Foil Twisted Pair (FTP) or
Token Ring Shielded Twisted Pair
(STP).
It also has a convenient slidelock mechanism for easy patch
cord and premise cable testing.
