You’ve found the perfect solution for overcrowded DDS data
centers. The MicroRACK system uses midplane architecture,
incorporating internal connectors that run down the center of the
chassis. Tuck away up to 16 cards in the MicroRACK system and
compare the space and money you’re saving.
The front-facing buses accommodate a variety of function cards
to house interface converters, NTUs, line drivers, and more. The
corresponding rear-facing buses receive a variety of interface cards
with a wide selection of data connectors: RJ-11, RJ-45, D-Style, fiber,
and M-type.
The cards are protocol independent and pass all appropriate
data, clocking, and control signals. You can swap function cards
and interface cards when your system changes. You can even hotswap cards on the fly without shutting down.
