(LD485S-MP) you get synchron­ous data communication over
twisted-pair cable at up to 4 miles
(6.4 km).

The RS-232/RS-485 Multipoint
Line Driver has a 4-screw terminal
block for RS-485 communications
over a 2- or 4-wire line, and an
RS-232 port that connects to a
host computer or terminal.

Switch-selectable speeds range
from 1200 bps to 128 kbps.

The line driver comes as a
standalone unit or a rackmount
card.

You can install the card in the
16-Card Rack (RM005).
