Step 1. Radios are preconfigured out of the box.
Step 2. Mount radios.
Step 3. Align Radios
Step 4. Attach cables.
See the user manual for advanced configuration: IP Address, frequency, SSID,
encryption keys, password, multiple access points in one area, etc.
System Default Settings:
IP Address: 192.168.88.10 (Subscriber Unit)
192.168.88.12 (Access Point)
Username: admin
Password: password
Best Practices:
1. Make sure there is a clear visual path between radios before deployment.
2. Test on a bench before deployment.
3. Networking Cable:

Troubleshooting
Power:
• Check that the PoE cabling matches the illustration.
• Check the network connection on your switch and verify that all RJ-45 cables
are plugged in properly.
• Only use the PoE injector supplied.
• Make sure the 110-VAC power source is providing clean and consistent AC
power to the 18-VDC power supply.
Signal Quality:
• Ensure line of sight (LOS).
• Check the signal strength in the Web interface (-20 dB is excellent strength and
-80 dB is weak).
Web Interface:
• Refer to the user manual for detailed setup information.
• Plug the RJ-45 male side of PoE directly into the computer and verify network
status shows “connected.”
• Verify that the local computer’s network settings are in the same IP subnet
range as the radio (for example, if the radio’s IP address is 192.168.88.10, then
the computer’s IP address should be 192.168.88.200).
