Connect compatible devices to a 10BASE-T, ThinNet, or fiber optic Ethernet segment.
Comply with the IEEE FOIRL, Ethernet
802.3, 10BASE-T, or 10BASE-FL standards.
Compact and lightweight for easy placement.
Diagnostic LEDs simplify monitoring and troubleshooting.
All models attach directly to device ports, saving on AUI cabling.
F
or their size, flexibility, and
convenience, our 10BASE-T, BNC, and Fiber Optic Transceivers are the transceivers of choice to connect any device to your 10-Mbps twisted-pair, ThinNet, or fiber segments.
For a basic multimode fiber connection that takes up the least possible space, choose the Mini Fiber Transceiver (LE2051A-STR4). It’s tiny, but it has all the diagnostic LEDs built in.
A Mini FOIRL LD Transceiver with ST (LE2127A-R3) is an economical choice for an older FOIRL network when you don’t need 10BASE-FL compatibility.
For single-mode fiber networks, choose the Micro
Compact 10BASE-T, BNC, or
fiber connections that are
simple to install and maintain.
Key Features
MINIANDMICROTRANSCEIVERS
Single-Mode Fiber Transceiver (LE1342A-R3).
The Mini Multimode Fiber Optic Transceiver (LE1076A-ST) can be used to create a link over all types of duplex multimode fiber optic cable. Run fiber up to
1.2 miles (1.9 km) between two workstations or local repeaters. It also works well in full duplex applications.
All fiber models are available with ST
®
connectors for the fiber interface and DB15 male connectors for the AUI interface.
Switch-selectable SQE and 10BASE-FL or FOIRL compatibility make these transceivers fit any standard 10-Mbps application.
For 10BASE-T connections with minimal cable insertion loss, select the Mini 10BASE-T Transceivers with Attached Cable (LE3010A, LE3011A). These transceivers have an integral 6inch (15.2-cm) transceiver cable on one side, and a 15-foot (4.6-m) twisted-pair cable on the other side. The LE3010A has a slide-lock connector, and the LE3011A features a screw-lock connector. Both transceivers comply with the IEEE 802.3 10BASE-T standard.
The Mini BNC Transceiver (LE2006A-R3) is perfect for use in small spaces. It connects the Ethernet port on your PC directly to ThinNet cable without using a transceiver cable.

Recognize any of these situations?
• You wait more than 30 minutes to get through to a vendor’s tech support.
• The so-called “tech” can’t help you or gives you the wrong answer.
• You don’t have a purchase order number and the tech refuses to help you.
• It’s 9 p. m. and you need help, but your vendor’s tech support line is closed.
According to a survey by Data Communications magazine, 90% of network managers surveyed say that getting the technical support they need is extremely important when choosing a
vendor. But even though network managers pay anywhere from 10 to 20% of their overall purchase price for a basic service and support contract, the technical support and service they receive falls far short of their expectations—and certainly isn’t worth what they paid.
At Black Box, we guarantee the best value and the best support. You can even consult our Technical Support Experts before you buy if you need help selecting just the right component for your application.
Don’t waste time and money—call Black Box today.
