Here’s how it works: The Hookswitch (cradle-lifter) attaches to your phone between the base and the handset. It allows you to use the hookswitch button on the remote to answer calls and hang up without having to go back to your telephone. Attach the remote transmitter to your belt, put on the headset, and you’re ready to roam!
The remote features a volume control, mute button, and an on­line indicator. It runs on a NiMH battery, good for 12 hours of continuous use. If you need coverage 24 hours a day, purchase a second battery. Recharge time for each battery is three hours.
