Figure 1 shows the visual fault locator’s display and
keypad.

Figure 2 shows the visual fault locator’s LCD display
and Table 2 describes its functions. Table 3 shows the
battery indicator status.

2. Keypad Functions, LCD Functions, and
Battery Indicator Status

1 Switches tester on/off. Press

and hold for more than two
seconds while turning on to
disable the auto-off feature.

2 Press to select the output

power. Select from three
settings: 0 dBm, +3 dBm,
and +8 dBm.

3 Press to select the output

frequency. Select from CW
(continuous wave) and 2 Hz.

4 Press to switch backlighting

on /off.
