This 15-amp, rackmounted power distribution unit uses 1U of rack space and features a current meter, and 6 front and 8 rear outlets.

Overview
The metered PDU LCD display shows the current power draw in amps. The metered PDU only has one function button, MUTE, located next to the display. The metered PDU’s alarm sounds when the current draw reaches 90% of capacity (13.5 amps). The alarm can be turned off by pressing the MUTE button. When the current draw excedes 90% the maximum current rating, the alarm cannot be muted, and the PDU alarms until the current draw is reduced.

Safety Instructions
1. The PDU is designed for indoor use only in a controlled environment away from excess moisture, temperature extremes, conductive contaminants, dust, or direct sunlight.
2. Do not connect the PDU to an ungrounded outlet or extension cords or adapters that eliminate the connection to ground.
3. The power requirement for each piece of equipment connected to the PDU must not exceed the individual outlet’s load rating.
4. The total power requirements for equipment connected to the PDU must not exceed the maximum load rating.
5. Do not drill into or attempt to open any part of the PDU. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
6. Do not attempt to modify the PDU, including input plugs and power cables.
7. To reduce the risk of fire, connect only to a branch circuit with overcurrent protection in accordance with the National Electric Code, ANSI/NFPA 70(3KVA).
