Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich für ein Qualitätsprodukt von Bitron Home, einer Handelsmarke der Urmet Gruppe,
entschieden haben. Bitron Home Produkte wurden speziell für die Verwendung mit der QIVICON Plattform
entwickelt und für diese freigegeben. Mit QIVICON steuern und kontrollieren Sie Ihr Smart Home auf ganz
einfache Art mit einer Applikation auf Ihrem PC, Tablet oder Smartphone und verschaffen sich immer und überall
Zugriff auf alle angeschlossenen Geräte.
FUNKTION
Dieses Smart Plug ermöglicht es Ihnen, elektrische Verbraucher (Lampen, Elektrogeräte, ...) ein- und
auszuschalten, die mit dem Smart Plug verbunden sind. Die Maximallast beträgt 16A (3.680W bei 230V).
Ist die Steckdose des Smart Plugs eingeschaltet, leuchtet die Funktionstaste (Abb. 3) rot. Sie können die
Steckdose durch Drücken der Funktionstaste oder über Applikationen für die QIVICON Plattform ein- und
ausschalten.
Der Smart Plug arbeitet als Funkverstärker für das ZigBee® Funknetz. Das bedeutet, dass beliebige für die
QIVICON Plattform freigegebene ZigBee® Geräte über ein oder mehrere Smart Plugs mit der QIVICON
Home Base kommunizieren können. Auf diese Weise können Sie die Funkreichweite einzelner ZigBee®
Geräte in Ihrem zu Hause nahezu beliebig erweitern. Diese Funktion ist automatisch aktiviert und vom
Schaltzustand des Smart Plug unabhängig. Eine Konfiguration ist nicht erforderlich.
INBETRIEBNAHME
Dieser Schritt setzt voraus, dass Sie über eine mit einem QIVICON ZigBee® Funkstick ausgestattete
QIVICON Home Base verfügen und diese bereits eingerichtet haben. Nähere Informationen hierzu finden
Sie im Internet unter http://www.qivicon.de/support.
1. Stecken Sie den Smart Plug in eine Steckdose, um ihn mit Strom zu versorgen (Abb. 1).
2. Melden Sie sich bei Mein QIVICON (www.qivicon.de/login) an. Wählen Sie unter Gerät
hinzufügen zunächst den Hersteller Bitron Home und dann das Gerät „Smart Plug mit
Schaltfunktion“ aus (Abb . 2).
3. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen des Verbindungsassistenten.
Zur Verwendung des Gerätes an einer anderen Home Base, z.B. im Falle eines Austauschs der Hom e
Base, wiederholen Sie die Schritte 2 und 3.

QIVICON enables you to manage and control you smart phone in a really easy way: applications for PC,
tablet and smartphone let you manage all connected devise, at any time and from anywhere.
OPERATION
This smart plugs allows you to switch on and off electrical devices connected to the plug. The maximum
load is 16A (3,860W at 230V).
If the smart plug is on, the function key lights up red. You can switch the plug on and off by pressing the
function key (Fig. 3) or through the QIVICON platform.
This smart plug operates as a ZigBee® radio signal repeater. This means that any QIVICON approved
ZigBee® devices can communicate with the QIVICON home base through one or more smart plugs. This
allows you to increase the radio coverage of single ZigBee® devices at your home in an almost unlimited
way. This function is automatically enabled and there is no need for configuration.
SET-UP
In order to set-up this device you need to have a QIVICON home base which is equipped with a QIVICON
ZigBee® radio stick. The home based needs to be set up and you need a valid user account. For further
information, please refer to http://www.qivicon.de/support.
1. Remove plastic cover which protects the battery during transport on the back of the device (Fig. 1).
2. Log on at Mein QIVICON (www.qivicon.de/login). Go to Gerät hinzufügen and select the
manufacturer Bitron Home. Then choose your device (Fig. 2).
3. Follow the connection wizard’s instructions.
If you wish to associate the device to a different home base, e.g. in case you need to replace the home
base, repeat steps 2 and 3.
