GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be connected to a grounded wiring system. If it should malfunction or break down, grounding provides a safe path of least resistance for electrical current, reducing the risk of electrical shock. The cord for this appliance has an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding pin. Plug only into an outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
WARNING:Improper connection
of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electrical shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you aren’t sure if the outlet is properly grounded. DO NOT MODIFY THE PLUG. If it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. This appliance is designed for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit, and has a grounding attachment plug that looks like the plug in the drawing above. Make certain that the appliance is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug. No plug adapter should be used with this appliance.

handle, close door on cord, pull cord around sharp corners or edges, run appliance over cord, or expose cord to heated surfaces
Do not carry the appliance while in use
Do not unplug by pulling on cord
Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands
Do not use without dry filter bag or motor filter in
place except when wet vacuuming or deep cleaning
Do not put any object into appliance openings,
use with blocked opening, or restrict air flow
Do not expose hair, loose clothing, fingers or
body parts to openings or moving parts
Do not pick up hot or burning objects
Do not pick up flammable or combustible materials (lighter fluid, gasoline, kerosene, etc.)
or use in the presence of explosive liquids or vapor
Do not use appliance in an enclosed space filled
with vapors given off by oil base paint, paint thinner, some moth proofing substances, flammable dust, or other explosive or toxic vapors
Do not pick up toxic material (chlorine bleach,
ammonia, drain cleaner, gasoline, etc.)
Do not modify the 3-prong grounded plug
Do not allow to be used as a toy
Do not use for any purpose other than described
in this User’s Guide
Do not store this cleaner in an area which may
reach freezing temperatures. Should storage at freezing occur, do not operate this cleaner until it has been at room temperature for at least 2 hours
Use only on surfaces moistened by cleaning
Always connect to a properly grounded outlet

Aluminum wands. Position wands as shown.
Press button down and align tapered end of wand (each wand has one flared end with hole and one tapered end with button.) While holding button down, slide flared wand end over tapered wand end. Continue sliding until button snaps into hole.
Floor Nozzle with Wand Solution Tube. Attach to wand end using same method described in #1.
Wand Clips. Position two (2) wand clips on as shown, 1 per wand. Uncoil Wand Solution Tube from Floor Nozzle and extend along wands. Do not kink hose. Press tube into groove on each wand clip.
Flex Hose Assembly. Attach wand with assembled Floor Nozzle to Grip/Trigger Unit end of the Flex Hose using the same button-in-hole method used in #1 and #2.
Wand Solution Tube Connection. Position Wand Solution Tube Connector (with lock slot) near Wand Solution Tube Connection (with lock pin) as shown. Slide Connector over Connection, engaging slot over pin. While pressing inward, turn Connector clockwise until lock pin snaps into slot. IMPORTANT: Wand Solution Tube must lock firmly over Connection to prevent leakage.

Flex Hose Assembly to Cleaner Body. Insert Suction Fitting end of
Flex Hose Assembly into Suction Inlet on Cleaner Body. Suction Fitting will snap into place when correctly seated. Push Wand Solution Tube over Solution Supply Connection. IMPORTANT: Wand Solution Tube must lock firmly over Connection to prevent leakage.
Lid Release. Rotate Flex Hose Assembly to right or left as shown. Pull Lid Release Latch and raise Lid completely. If Flex Hose Assembly prevents Lid from opening completely, close lid, rotate again, and repeat.
Assembly for wet cleaning is now complete.
