This instruction manual will familiarise you with the use
and maintenance of your B+B commode seat and make
your life safer.

1. Attention - safety instructions!
(Risk analysis as per DIN EN 13485)
• Max. user weight 120 kg!
• The commode seat should only be used indoors and
with the aid of an assistant.
• Push the seat on even and horizontal surfaces only.
• Always lock both brakes when at a standstill.
• Do not lean out to the side. Danger of tipping!
• Make sure that the seat-back screws are tight.
• The commode seat must not be used by unauthorised
persons (particularly children).
Commode wheelchairs are recommended if the patient
cannot use or access toilette because of the disability.

2. Parking brake
The two rear steering wheels with brakes prevent the
commode seat from moving accidentally.
• Locking: press brake lever 1 down to the limit stop with
the foot (Fig. 2)
• Releasing: press lever 2 to release the brake (Fig. 2).
3. Leg supports
To make it as easy as possible to enter and leave your B+B
commode seat, the leg supports can simply be swung to
the side out of the way. It is not necessary to remove
them.
• Pull the locking pin slightly out (Fig. 3) to open the lock.
• Swing the leg supports outwards.
• If necessary, fold the foot plates up first.
To restore the original status, just swing the leg supports
forward and lock them in place. To remove the leg supports
proceed as follows:
• Pull the locking pin out (Fig. 3) to open the lock.
• Swing the leg support outwards.
• Pull the leg support out upwards.
Danger of accident
Be careful not to stand on the foot plates
and/or the foot supports when getting out of
the commode seat. Danger of accident!

4. Commode seat
Removing commode seat:
• Pull front edge of seat up from the base.
• Lift commode seat upwards.
Positioning commode seat:
• Slide back edge of seat with the open corners to the
back.
• Press front rounded edge of seat down to the stop. Seat
must lock into position.
• Make sure that it is locked.
5. Arm rests
The arm rests can be folded back.
• To fold them back pull out the locking button and fold
the arm rest back (Fig. 4).
• To return it to its original position fold the arm rest
forward to its original position until you hear the
locking pins click into place.
Make sure that the arm rests are locked in position.
