1. Introduction
Dear user,
You have decided on a high-quality B+B wheelchair, and we would like
to thank you for your trust.
This instruction manual contains all necessary information on operating the versions of the BX 11 wheelchair with leg rest (art. no.:
1612013501) or with a footrest (art. no.: 1612003501).
The electric wheelchair was designed to offer you many advantages
and meet your needs. The many varied setting options and the optimum adjustability in terms of seat width, seat height, seat depth and
back length, etc., mean the BX 11 can be adjusted to your individual
body size.
The BX 11 is designed for use both indoors and outdoors by active
users who rely on a wheelchair.
The electric wheelchair is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Before
using your new electric wheelchair for the first time, please read and
follow the instructions in this manual carefully. The instruction manual
is an integral and necessary part of the wheelchair. This is why you
should keep it close by and include it when passing on the wheelchair
to someone else.

Any repairs and adjustments require special technical training and may
therefore only be carried out by authorized B+B dealers.

2. Important safety instructions
2.1. General safety instructions
• To avoid falls and dangerous situations, you should first practice
driving your new wheelchair on level, unobstructed ground. We
recommend having an assistant with you.
• The accompanying person should be physically and mentally capab-
le of operating a wheelchair.
• Never use the wheelchair under the influence of alcohol or other
drugs.
• Please make sure that all parts have been properly installed before
using the wheelchair.
• Never lift the wheelchair by parts that are not fixed firmly (the
armrests or legrests).
• Make sure that the screwing axle/floating axle are tightly in the
axle holder, otherwise there is risk of injuries.
• Please note that displacing the center of gravity by shifting the
body or by adding loads may increase the risk of tipping over the
wheelchair to the side or backwards.
• Please seek the help of an assistant person when going over obsta-
cles, steps, etc. Use the tip assist (see overview of wheelchair) to tip
the wheelchair appropriately.
• Steps and larger obstacles may only be crossed with the help of at
least two assisting persons. For this, use lifting points 1 and 2 (see
overview of the wheelchair). If equipment such as ramps, lifts or step
climbing aids are available, these should be used.
• When driving on an incline or slope, it is necessary to be aware that
a risk of tipping exists even at low angles, depending on the axle
position setting. The use of anti-tippers is highly recommended.
• The seat materials are resistant to flammability according to EN
1021-1 and EN 1021-2. Nevertheless, you should exercise the
necessary caution when smoking and you should not put a cigarette
down on the wheelchair.
• Avoid running against obstacles (steps, kerbs) without braking or
moving down steps.
• Avoid using on uneven, loose surfaces.
• When getting into or out of the wheelchair, apply both parking
brakes.
• All road traffic regulations must be observed when driving on
public roads.
• The passive lighting (reflectors) of your wheelchair must always be
visible to other road users.
• The wheelchair may not be used for transport of more than one
person or any additional load. Make sure to only use it for the
intended purpose.
• You must not use the handbrake to stop the wheelchair.
• When braking at fast speeds or on long downward slopes when
using the push rims, fingers and hand surfaces become hot. Caution! Danger of burning!
• We recommend leather gloves for outdoor use. These increase grip
and protect fingers and hands from dirt and injury at the same
time.
• Please note that the upholstery will heat up if directly exposed to
sunlight and may cause injuries to your skin when touched. You
should therefore cover these parts or protect the wheelchair from
exposure to direct sunlight.
• Also note that the frame and pad parts may cool down significantly
in winter. If possible, do not park the wheelchair outdoors in cold
weather.
• When transferring between wheelchair and bed, always ensure that:
• both parking brakes are applied
• the side part on the side for getting in/out is swung back-
wards.
• the foot plates (for getting in/out) are folded upwards, swing
inwards/outwards or are removed.

2.2. Anti-tip wheels (optional)
The anti-tip wheels prevent the wheelchair from tipping backwards.
Note that driving with anti-tip wheels on terraced terrain, lift platforms
and ramps is only possible to a limited extent. Ensure sufficient clearance above, below and on the sides.
2.3. Use on public roads
The wheelchair is designed for indoor and outdoor use. Please keep in
mind that you are using public roads and therefore have to observe all
road traffic regulations.
Do not endanger other road users through inconsiderate driving, especially on walkways.
2.4. Purpose
The wheelchair is designed solely to increase mobility and to transport
people with impaired mobility in accordance with indications listed.
The maximum user load is 135 kg.
To note:
We are only able to issue a guarantee if the product is used in accordance with the specified conditions and for the specified purpose.
2.5. Indications for use
Inability or severely impaired ability to walk due to
• paralysis
• loss of limb
• defect/deformity of limb
• joint contracture
• joint damage (not in both arms)
• other diseases
2.6. Contraindications
Provision of wheelchairs is not suitable for people::
• who are unable to sit
• with joint damage/joint contracture of both arms
• with perceptual disorders
• with severe equilibrium disorders
• with reduced and inadequate vision
• with serious cognitive restrictions

2.7. Declaration of conformity
B+B, as manufacturer and solely responsible party, hereby declares
that the wheelchair BX 11 complies with the requirements of the EC
Directive 93/42.
2.8. Responsibility
We are only able to provide a warranty if the product is used in
accordance with the specified conditions and for the intended purposes.
If modifications, repairs or maintenance works are made, please make
sure only authorised persons perform these works in accordance to the
instructions of B+B.
2.9. Service life
If used as intended, and the safety, care and maintenance instructions
are observed, the expected service life is up to 5 years. Beyond this
time the wheelchair can be used continuously, provided it is in a safe
condition.
3. Description of product and
contents
3.1. Inspection on delivery
All B+B wheelchairs are subject to a proper final inspection in our
house and receive the CE mark.
The wheelchair is supplied in a special box. After unpacking save
the box if possible. You may need it later for storage or to return the
product.
Assembly, adjustment to your body size and first instructions are taken
care of by your qualified medical supply dealer.
If delivered by rail or a forwarding agent, the product is to be checked
with regard to transportation damage at once in the presence of the
shipper.
Check the contents for completeness and make sure nothing is
damaged. Should you find any irregularities or damage, please contact
our customer service (Tel.: +49 700 6000 7070).

4. Assembly/Adjustments
4.1 Folding and unfolding
Delivery
Your new B+B wheelchair is delivered fully assembled and folded in an
original B+B carton.
To prevent damage during transport, attachable mounting parts are
delivered separately (Fig. 5).
Unfolding
Position your wheelchair next to you. Tip it towards you until the load is
taken off one driving wheel. Now push the seat tubes apart and press
them downward with your palm until they lock in the mounting on the
frame (Fig. 6).
Folding
Place your wheelchair next to you. Fold the foot plates/the footrest
upward (Fig. 7) and undo the Velcro fastener of the back cover under
the seat.
Now pull the seat cover upward until the chair is completely folded,
and press the armrests together (Fig. 8).

When unfolding it, keep your fingers on the seat
tensioning band; otherwise there is a risk of
pinching!
Pay attention to your fingers during the folding
process to prevent a risk of pinching.

4.2. Leg rests
4.2.1. leg rests with footplate
The BX 11 (art. no.: 1612003501) is equipped with a continuous
footplate.
• The footplate can be folded up and to the side, positioned at an
angle and adjusted to length of the user‘s lower leg (Fig. 9).
Folding footrest up and down
• The footrest should be folded up for getting in and out of the
wheelchair. Grasp below the footrest and fold it up and to the side
(Fig. 10).
• Once you are sitting in the wheelchair, the footrest must be folded
back down. Ensure that the footrest locks back into position.
Adjusting the width of the footrest
The width of the footrest only needs to be adjusted to the seat width of
your folding wheelchair after a replacement delivery.
• The adjustment can be found in the installation manual of the
footrest width.

Before moving off, check for firm attachment of
the legrests!

Adjusting the leg support length
The footrest has 8 settings at 1.5 cm increments for adjustment to the
length of the leg rest.
• Remove the two socket screws (4 mm Allen screws) from the leg
support tube (inside and outside), and adjust it to the desired
length (Fig. 11).
• Retighten the screws after the adjustment.
Setting the footrest angle
The footrest can be positioned at an angle (Fig. 12).
• To do so, unscrew the Allen screw (5 mm socket).
• Adjust the angle of the foot plate to the required position by rota-
ting the toothed ring.
• Retighten the Allen screw.

When standing up/sitting down on your
wheelchair, please avoid standing on the footrest,
danger of falling or tipping!
Be sure to make all adjustments equally on both sides.

4.2.2. Leg rests with separated
foot plates
The BX 11 (art. no.: 1612013501) is equipped with removable leg rest.
The footplates can be folded upwards and to the side, positioned at
an angle and adjusted to length of the user‘s lower leg. The leg rest
can be removed, folded pivoted and reattached without tools.
Attaching legrests
• Hold the legrests on the upper part such that this part points
outwards.
• Now push the leg rest with the guide profile into the hole in the
frame (Fig. 14).
• Tilt the leg rests forward until they lock in place with a clearly audi-
ble sound, and fold the foot plate down.
Swinging away and removing the leg rests
To make it as easy as possible to get into and out of your folding
wheelchair, you can simply swing the leg rests away, either
• Fold the foot plates up.
• Pull the stop up and fold the leg rest out (Fig. 15).
• In the outer position, the leg rest can be pulled upwards (Fig. 16).
To return to the original position, simply engage the leg rests and pivot
them forward until they lock into place.

Setting the legrest length
The leg rest have 5 settings at 2 cm increments to adjust the length of
the lower leg.
• Remove the two Allen socket screws (4 mm) from the leg rest tube
(inside and outside), and adjust it to the desired length (Fig. 17).
• Retighten the screws after the adjustment.
Angle-adjustable foot plates
The angle of the foot plates can be adjusted (Fig. 18).
• Unscrew the Allen bolt.
• Adjust the foot plate to the required position by rotating the
toothed ring.
• Retighten the allen bolt.

4.3. Side parts
4.3.1. Skirt guard
The BX 11 is equipped with aluminium skirt guards (Fig. 19) as standard. These are secured to the frame on the front and back. The height
of the skirt guard must be readjusted if the seat position or tyre size is
changed.
The adjustment of the skirt guard can be found in the installation manual.

When standing up from/sitting down in the
wheelchair, you must not stand on the footrest
under any circumstances!
Be sure to adjust equally on both sides.

4.3.2. Height-adjustable side parts
with armrests (optional)
The height-adjustable side parts are equipped with height and depthadjustable armrests. The side parts can be pivoted away towards the
back and removed completely.
Height of the armrests
• Activate the lever with one hand, and move the armrest to the
desired height with the other hand (Fig. 20).
• First release the lever and move the armrest until it locks in the next
possible position.
Depth of the armrests
• Push the button on the outside of the armrest and move the arm-
rest backwards or forwards (Fig. 21).
• First release the button and move the armrest until it locks in the
next possible position.
Pivoting the side parts away
• Activate the lever and pivot both side parts backwards and away at
the same time (Fig. 22).
• To lock the side part, push it forwards and allow it to click into
place with light pressure on the armrest.
Removing the side parts
• Pivot the side part upwards somewhat as described above and
grasp the armrest (Fig. 23).
• Pull the catch on the rear mounting out with the other hand. Then
pull the side part up and out with the other hand.
• To attach it, first push the side part into the rear stop until the
catch locks in audibly, then lock it as described above by latching it
into place.

4.4. Backrest angle
4.4.1. Backrest
The backrest of the BX 11 is not adjustable. The angle between the
backrest and seat is 90°.
4.4.2. Backrest (optional)
The angle of the optional backrest of the BX 11 is adjustable (Fig. 24).
The adjustment can be found in the installation manual.
4.5. Height of the push handles
4.5.1. Push handles (standard)
The push handles of the BX 11 can be put in a position that is
comfortable for the accompanying person (Fig. 25). The backrest
height can be adjusted as well.
The adjustment and adaptation of the backrest height can be found in
the installation manual.
4.5.2. Push handles (optional)
The optional push handles of the BX 11 can be adapted to the
individual size of the accompanying person independently of the other
adjustments (Fig. 26).
• Release the stop (arrow).
• Adjust the handles to a height comfortable for the accompanying
person.
• Retighten the stop.

4.6. Adjustable seat and back
4.6.1. Seat slack
The seat surface should always be tensioned to sufficient tautness.
However, ensure that there is sufficient slack in the area of the pelvis.
• First completely remove the pad layer of the seat cover (Fig. 27).
• Now retighten the tensioning straps that have become loose over
time (Fig. 29).
• Place the pad layer of the seat cover back over the tensioning
straps.
4.6.2. Backrest
A well-adjusted backrest makes it easier to sit continuously in a relaxed
position and is effective at reducing the risk of pressure sores. Ensure
that there is sufficient slack in the area of the pelvis.
First completely remove the pad layer of the back cover (Fig. 29).
Undo the Velcro straps of the tensioning straps (Fig. 30).
The straps are adjusted one by one, starting from the bottom.
Place the pad layer of the backrest over the tensioning straps.

4.7. Brakes
The BX 11 is.equipped with parking brakes for user operation as
standard. The option of equipping it with drum brakes for operation by
an accompanying person is available.
4.7.1. Setting the parking brake
The parking brake should only be used for parking. It is not suitable
for braking while driving! Use the push rims on the drive wheels for
that purpose. To decelerate, you grasp the highest point of the push
rims with your hands and let them be carried along by the wheel (Fig.
30). The push rims initially slide between your hands. Depending on
the force you exert when holding the push rims, you can change the
braking force from controlled deceleration to a sudden stop.
After the wheelchair has been decelerated in this way, activate both
tyre brakes by pushing the brake lever forwards. The wheelchair is now
securely braked (Fig. 31).
Pull the lever back towards you to release the brake (Fig. 32).

4.7.2 Adjusting the brakes
If you notice that the available braking effect is no longer sufficient or
is uneven, proceed as follows:
• With pneumatic tyres, always ensure that both drive wheels have
the same tyre pressure to achieve good directional stability!
• Check the tyre tread. Check also that the friction is even. If it is not,
or if the tread is no longer even visible, the tyre must be replaced.
If you have the necessary technical knowledge, you can change the
tyre yourself. If you do not feel confident about doing this yourself,
your qualified mobility dealer will be able to help you.
• Now check the adjustment of the brake. This must be set so that
the gap between the surface of the wheel and the braking bolt
is 15 mm with the brake off (Fig. 33). The braking bolt must be
aligned horizontally, that is parallel to the ground surface.
• To adjust the gap, loosen the two Allen screws on the brake moun-
ting (Fig. 34).
• You can then push the braking system along the mounting into the
correct position.
• Then tighten both Allen screws again.
• Make sure that the brake fully locks into place when the lever is
operated and does not snap back.
• After completing the adjustment process, tighten the screws again
and test the brakes!

The parking brake only affects one drive wheel!
4.8. Centre of gravity, seat angle
and seat height
4.8.1. Adjusting the drive wheel
The position of the drive wheel is a criterion for easy, comfortable,
pleasant driving.
• The drive wheels can be moved in the vertical direction to adjust
the seat height and the seat angle (Fig. 35).
• The drive wheels can be shifted horizontally for optimal adjustment
of the position of the centre of gravity (Fig. 36).
If the full floating axle is attached in the lowest position, it is possible
to position the seat surface so that it is horizontal or sloping forwards.
However, the forwards-sloping seat angle also depends on the position
of the front wheel.
Mounting the full floating axle in the highest position achieves a steep
seat slope (towards the back). In this position, the seat inclination
and centre of gravity shift backwards, and the wheelchair can tip over
backwards more easily. Use the anti-tip wheels!

Adjustment of the brakes should be carried out
by trained specialist staff. However, if you have
enough experience, you can also carry out this
work yourself. Nevertheless be aware that incorrectly adjusted brakes may have life-threatening
consequences.
Changing the seat angle causes a risk of tipping.

4.8.2. Height of the front wheel
After adjustment of the rear wheel position, the correct position of the
steering wheels must be checked and readjusted if necessary.
• Unscrew the axle (Allen key, SW 4) and take it out completely (Fig.
37).
• Place the steering wheel in the right position for the required seat
height.
• Reinsert the axle into the steering fork and tighten it up again.
• The steering axle should be as as close to perpendicular to the
floor as possible. This ensures directional stability and safe driving
behaviour.
4.8.3. Angle of the steering axle
By changing the height of the driving wheel or front wheel, the angle
of the steering wheel axle can also be altered. However, this should
always done at the correct angle (90°) to the ground. First, loosen the
locking mechanism of the castor connector by loosening both screws on
the outside (see Fig. 38). The setscrews within the castor connector are
used for fine adjustment and to secure them in the specified position.
Move the front wheel to the required position and then tighten the
fixing screws again.

4.8.4. Wheelbase
Extending the wheelbase increases the stability and equilibrium
of the wheelchair. On the other hand, if the wheelbase is reduced,
this improves manoeuvrability. A reduction of the wheelbase is only
advisable for experienced drivers.

When the wheelbase is changed, it is absolutely essential to adjust the parking brake afterwards!
4.9. Wheels and tyres
4.9.1. Full floating axle
The BX 11 comes standard with full floating axles.
The full floating axles make it easy to attach and detach the wheels.
• Press the locking button of the full floating axle with your thumb
and pull the wheel off (Fig. 39).
• When reattaching the wheel, simply push the wheel back onto the
mount. At the same time, press in the locking button as well.
Check if wheels are securely seated each time they got reattached!
4.9.2. Drive wheels
The BX 11 is equipped with 24“ x 1“ drive wheels with pneumatic
tyres as standard. Schwalbe Marathon plus puncture resistant tyres are
optionally available. If they become worn or defective, the authorised
specialist retailer should be asked to carry out the repair.
To ensure the optimum operating safety of the brakes and wheelchair,
pneumatic tyres must be inflated to the tyre pressure indicated on the
tyre.
4.9.3. Steered wheels
6“ (150 x 30 mm) PU tyres (puncture resistant, no valve) are mounted
on the BX 11 as standard. If they become worn or defective, the
authorised specialist retailer should be asked to carry out the repair.
If the BX 11 is equipped with pneumatic swivelling wheels, the tyres
must be inflated to the pressure indicated on the tyre to ensure
optimum operating safety of the wheelchair.

4.10. Tip protection and anti-tip
wheels (optional)
The combination of tip protection and the anti-tip wheels can be used
for greater stability on inclines and as an aid for the accompanying
person for overcoming obstacles such as the edges of kerbstones.
The assembly can be found in the installation manual.
4.10.1. Tipping aid
Hold the wheelchair firmly by the push handles with both hands. You
then press one of the tipping aids with one foot (Fig. 41), while at the
same time pushing the push handles downwards.
4.10.2. Anti-tip wheels
The anti-tip wheels prevent the wheelchair from tipping backwards.
There must be approx. 3–5 cm of clearance between the wheel and the
ground. Pull the washer backwards and move the anti-tip wheel along
the guide to adjust it. The anti-tip wheels are especially recommended
for inexperienced wheelchair users or leg amputees.
If you do not need the anti-tip wheels, they can be pushed to the
highest position or pulled completely off.
Always use the anti-tip wheels in pairs.

4.11. Camber angle
It is possible to set the camber angle in the range from 1 - 4 °. Please
mention it with your order. The greater the stability by turning the
wheelchair, or rotating on the spot.
Information about subsequent changes and, if necessary, the adjustment of the toe-in can be found in the installation manual.
5. Use
5.1. Entering and leaving from the
side
• Move the wheelchair as close as possible to the present or future
seat so they are side by side.
• If you wish to move from another wheelchair or room chair, lock it
by setting the parking brakes.
• Secure the BX 11 against rolling away accidentally by activating
the parking brake.
• Pivot the armrest backwards and away, or remove the side part with
the armrest.
• Fold the foot plates/footrest to the side or remove the leg rests.
• Now slide sideways onto the other seat.
• Make sure that you are sitting as far back in the seat as possible.
• Finally, return the leg rest to their original position and reinsert the
side parts if necessary.
Never stand on the footrest!

5.2. Entering and leaving from the
front
• First fold the foot plates up or remove the leg rests.
• Move the BX 11 and the current or intended seat together front to
front if possible and decelerate the BX 11.
• If you wish to move from another wheelchair or room chair, lock it
by setting the parking brakes.
• Now slide onto the seat by turning your body around.
• Then move the arm rest and leg rests to the original position.
5.3. Negotiating stairs and high
steps
• The helpers must only take hold of securely mounted parts of the
frame. The lifting points are depicted in Figures 42 and 44, depending on how the model is equipped.
• When going up stairs, the helper behind the wheelchair pulls
the wheelchair over the step, holding it by the securely mounted
handles.
• The helper who is below takes hold of the front frame tubes and
stabilises the position. At the same time, he pushes the rear wheels
of the wheelchair against the steps.
Never stand on the footrest!

For obstacles and stairs with more than three steps,
two accompanying people must help.

• When going down stairs, the helper who is below brakes by pushing
the wheelchair right against the steps. The helper above holds the
wheelchair at the push handles, secures it and holds it in the right
position. The wheelchair should roll down step by step.
5.4. Driving the wheelchair
Sit in your B+B wheelchair. Make sure you are sitting as far back as
possible. The push rims on the drive wheels are used to move the
wheelchair.
Your hands should be positioned with the thumbs and curled index
fingers on the push rims. From this position, push the wheelchair with
both arms equally.
To drive to the right, hold the right push rim in place and only push
the left one. To drive to the left, perform the same pushing motion the
other way around.
To turn in place, push with both hands in opposite directions at the
same time.
To decelerate, reduce the speed of the push rim with your hands (see
also section 4.7, „Brakes“).
Practice moving the wheelchair carefully at first until you are familiar
with it and the way it behaves. Wheelchairs have only a limited ability
to resist tipping and sliding. Particular care is necessary when braking
and moving onto, or turning on inclines. Leaning a long way out of the
wheelchair increases the danger of tipping.
To overcome obstacles more easily, the wheelchair must be tipped by
the accompanying person.
Frame and push handles are the only places where
you can get hold of the wheelchair to transport it.
Never lift up the wheelchair at the armrests!

7. Transport
7.1. Transporting the wheelchair
To transport the wheelchair as convenient as possible, all detachable
parts (footrests, wheels, accessories) must be removed and the wheelchair
folded.
7.2. Seat in disabled vehicle
You can determine whether or not your wheelchair is approved for use
as a seat in a vehicle for transporting disabled people by referring to
the symbols on the CE sticker on the product (Fig. A, B, C).
All products approved by B+B for use as seats in vehicles are tested
in accordance with ISO 7176-19. The tests in accordance with ISO
7176-19 were performed using restraint systems from AMF-Bruns. The
correct mounting of the restraint system is a prerequisite for the safe
transportation of the products in a vehicle for transporting disabled
people and the basis for the approval.
The restraint systems from AMF-Bruns provide the ideal points for the
provision of restraint force for the purpose of securing the products in
the vehicle for transporting disabled people (known by the German
term „Kraftknoten“, which is defined in the standard DIN 75078-2).
For the purpose of providing restraint in the vehicle for transporting
disabled people, the products must only be secured at these specific
points („Kraftknoten“ points). If possible, use a permanently installed
car seat and its belt system. Stow the wheelchair in the luggage space.
The person responsible for the transportation should be familiar with
the current regulations for transportation as well as with the method of
operating the vehicle for transporting disabled people and the restraint
system. Anchored 4-point restraint systems must be used to secure the
wheelchair in the vehicle. If you have any queries about securing your

8. Maintenance tips for users
8.1. Cleaning and disinfection
• The frame and the paneling of the wheelchair can be cleaned with
a moist cloth. You can use a mild detergent for more stubborn dirt
• The wheels can be cleaned with a wet synthetic fiber brush (do not
use a wire brush!)
• Push handles, arm pads, and seat and back pads can be washed
off. Use mild detergent.
• Use a disinfectant listed by VAH for disinfection.

8.2. Check before use
8.2.1. Brake Inspection
• Make sure your brakes are operating properly before each use.
• It should not be possible to push the wheelchair away while the
brakes are activated.
• The wheelchair should be easy to drive without grinding noises and
with good direction stability when the brakes are released.
• If you notice unusual behaviour when braking, inform your quali-
fied mobility dealer immediately and do not use the wheelchair.

8.2.2. Checking the tyres
Check whether the tyres are intact and inflated to the correct pressure
(750 kPa) every time before driving.
9. Maintenance tips for retailers
We recommend having the wheelchair inspected by your qualified mobility dealer at least once a year. If faults or defects at the wheelchair
are found, it must be returned to the dealer for repair immediately.
The dealer can receive the required information and documentation
for repair and service on request. A training program is also available
for dealers.

The wheelchair must be inspected in accordance to
the service plan and must be in good condition.
10. Transfering the wheelchair
The wheelchair is suitable for continued use by others. When the
wheelchair is transferred to a new owner, please include all the technical documentation with it for the new user.
11. Storage/shipping
If the wheelchair is to be stored or shipped, all attachable and unsecured parts, apart from the drive wheels, must be removed and packed
individually in appropriate cartons. The individually packed parts can
then be packaged together in a larger carton. We recommend to keep
the original carton and store it for those purposes so that it is available
if required. Your wheelchair will have an optimum protection against
environmental influences during storage and transport.
12. Disposal
If the wheelchair is no longer used and you wish to dispose it, please
contact your dealer.
If you wish to dispose the wheelchair yourself,
please contact a local recycling company for the
disposal regulations of your local jurisdiction.

13. Warranty
The warranty covers all defects of the wheelchair that are demonstrably
due to material or manufacturing defects.Any claim must be accompanied by the completely filled-out warranty certificate.
Our products comes with a statutory guarantee of 2 years. For replacement devices and repairs, a warranty period of 1 year applies.
Please also observe the B+B care, warranty, hygiene and maintenance
instructions. Your qualified mobility dealer will be happy to provide
these to you.
Warning! Non-observance of the instruction
manual, improper maintenance and in particular
any technical changes and supplements (added
fittings) without the approval of B+B will generally
