Bluetooth Car Kit
Quick Guide
Caution and notes before using
Operating this device while vehicle is in motion can lead to a serious accident. Make
selection only while stopped.
The car ignition is turned on.
Your phone is within 10 meters of the hands-free unit and that there are no
obstructions, such as walls, or other electronic devices between the hands-free unit and the phone.

Internal Microphone Picks up your voice. Indicator LED Provides visual indication about pair status. End Button Ends/Rejects the call. Mic-In jack Connects an external microphone. Power Button Power on/off the car kit. Volume Button Adjusts the speaker up and down. Talk Button Answers the coming call and controls speaker functions. Pairing Button Pairs the car kit with a cell phone and mutes the local microphones during
a phone call.
Speaker Plays the sound you receive on the call. Cigarette Jack Connector Connects to the car cigarette jack.
Taking the car kit into use for the first time
Before using the car kit, the cell phone must have the information of the car kit. To create the information, pairing procedure is used. Once the car kit and phone are paired, an incoming call will be transferred to the car kit or using car kit to activate voice dial or last number redial functions. Please follow the instructions below for initial pairing.
1. Plug the car kit into the car cigarette jack and switch on the car kit.
2. Press and hold the “Pairing” button of the car kit for approximately 3 seconds until the
indicator LED of “Connected” is blinking. that the car kit is in pairing mode and waiting to be paired with another Bluetooth device.
3. Set the cell phone to search for Bluetooth devices. The phone searches for surrounding bluetooth devices within about 10 meters and shows them as a list.
4. Select the car kit named “BT CarKit” form the list and enter ”1234” for the pin code. Once pairing successes both cell phone and car kit save each other’s record and the car kit exits pairing mode.
5. Now the car kit is ready to use. Caution: If a second user tries to pair the phone, the first pairing information will
automatically be erased and replaced by the new (second) information since the car kit only stores the newest record.

Answering and ending/rejecting a call
When receiving a call, press the “Talk” button to answer the incoming call or press the “End ” button to end/reject the call.
Muting and unmuting a call
The mute function is to mute the local microphones so the other party cannot hear any sound. To mute the microphone during an active call, press the “Pairing” button to start muting. During muting, the mute LED is blinking.
Adjusting the volume of the car kit speaker
Turn the “Volume” button clockwise to increase or counterclockwise to decrease the volume of speaker. Please note that there is no function for adjusting the volume of the microphone.
Transferring the incoming call between car kit and phone
During an active call, the “Talk” button can be pressed to transfer the call back to the cell phone. It depends on the function of the cell phone; it may not be able to transfer the call back to car kit again.
