The Billion myGuard 6700G with 802.11g wireless access point is an all-in-one
value-added pack of security broadband router which is perfectly designed for
users to enjoy rich security, mobility, economical and high-speed Internet access
sharing. Rich security features such as Firewall packet filtering, Denial of Service
protection, as well as Trend Micro value-added security services to provide extra
protection for end users' home network. The Quality of Service (QoS) feature
enables users to experience smooth net connection without surfing the Net at a
crawl speed. Just plug and play, users can configure and upgrade the firmware
easily via the easy-to-use Web Configurator.

Sharing High-speed Internet Access

The myGuard 6700G router provides SOHO and residential
users with an ideal solution for sharing one high-speed
broadband connection. Supporting PPPoE/DHCP client
protocols, the myGuard 6700G can easily get a dynamic IP
address from your broadband ISP and share the dynamic IP
address with all local stations. You can set up a
Web/FTP/Email server with Dynamic Domain Name System
(DDNS) at home.

Mobility and Extra Security

With integrated 802.11g Wireless Access Point, the router
offers quick and easy access among wired network, wireless
network and broadband connection. Supported Wi-Fi
Protected Access (WPA), the myGuard 6700G increases the
level of data protection and access control for Wireless LAN.
In addition, the router provides SOHO firewall functions,
including rich packet filtering and Denial of Service (DoS)
protection to block hackers' attack. Powered by Trend Micro
Home Network Security (TMSS)*, the myGuard 6700G
supports value-added features such as Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam,
Parental Controls, and others to protect your family from
accessing inappropriate websites and ensure a safe surfing
environment.

The Quality of Service (QoS) control gives you full control
over the outgoing data traffic. Priority can be given by the
router to ensure important data like gaming packets,
customer information, or management information move
through the router at lightning speed, even under heavy load.
You can also control the speed at different type of outgoing
data passed through the router to ensure that users do not
saturate the bandwidth and browsing activities.

Economy and Ease of Use

The myGuard 6700G supports Dial-on-Demand and Idle
Timer in PPPoE dial-up protocol to control the connection
usage in specific areas. Whenever there is traffic from LAN to
WAN, the router will create a PPPoE connection, and drop
the connection when there is an idle moment. This smart
control reduces the communication cost for users. With
friendly Web Configurator, the myGuard 6700G is extremely
easy to configure and manage under Windows
95/98/98SE/NT/2000/Me/XP, Mac OS, Unix and Linux, even
from a remote site. Furthermore, future firmware with new or
improved features can be upgraded via the Web Configurator.
