BILLET DUAL QUAD AIR CLEANERS

1/4-20 x 2-1/2" F.S.C.S.
1) Place one carburetor adapter ring on top of each carburetor.
2) Place one air cleaner adapter plate on top of each carburetor adapter
ring. When spacing between carburetors is less than 8", the plates may overlap
and need trimming. In this case, mark the plates at the center of the overlap
and trim equal lengths off each plate.
3) Position the air cleaner base over the adapter plates so the space at each
end is approximately equal. Fasten the plates to the bottom of the air cleaner
base with the supplied 10-32 x 1/2" button head cap screws. (Silicone sealant
can be used to seal the plates to the air cleaner base if desired.)
4) Position the hold down brackets over the base as shown. Fasten the hold
down brackets to the carburetors using the supplied 1/4-20 x 2" socket head
cap screws. Some carburetors may require 1/4-20 x 3" socket head cap
screws. (Included)
5) Place the supplied K&N air filter into the groove of the base. (Part # E-3740)
6) Place the air cleaner cover on top of the air filter and fasten to the base
using the supplied 1/4-20 x 2-1/2" flat socket cap screws.
