Supplies Needed: RTV Silicone 3/32” Allen Key #271 Red Loctite® Thread Locker

Prep and finish valve cover as needed.

Remove polished trim pieces from packaging.

Place one external tooth lock washer on each 8-32 X 1/4 button head cap screw.

Apply #271 Red Loctite® to the threads of each 8-32 button head cap screw.

Place polished trim piece on valve cover and seat into recess. Install 8-32 button head cap screws and washers through inside of valve cover and into trim piece. Do Not Over-Tighten! Repeat for other valve cover.

Allow Loctite® to cure for a minimum of 1 hour before proceeding to the next step.

Finish polished trim installation by applying a liberal Dab of RTV silicone encasing the button head and washer to the valve cover (see caption for example). Allow RTV to fully cure before installing valve covers.
