Anwendungen

Das TG-X 80/81 eignet sich speziell zur Abnahme von

Instrumental- und Gesangsgruppen. Im Nahfeld tritt durch
den weiten Übertragungsbereich nach unten eine kräftige
Tiefenanhebung auf. Das TG-X 80/81 kann als Handmikrofon
oder stativgebunden eingesetzt werden.

Inbetriebnahme

• Durch Abschrauben des Schutzkorbes kann gegebenen-

falls der Farbring sowie der Schaumstoffpoppschutz aus­gewechselt werden.

• Zur Vermeidung von Poppgeräuschen halten Sie das

Mikrofon schräg unterhalb vom Mund. Benutzen Sie das
Mikrofon nicht ohne Poppschutz.

• Durch den Nahbesprechungseffekt ändern sich Klang und

Lautstärke mit der Entfernung zum Mund.

• Aufgrund der Hypernierencharakteristik ist das Mikrofon

sehr rückkopplungsarm. Um maximale Rückkopplungs­sicherheit zu erreichen, sollte die Monitorbox in einem
Winkel von ca. 110° zur Mikrofonlängsachse stehen.

• Zum Lieferumfang gehört die Mikrofonklammer MKV 8

für Stative mit 3/8"-Gewinde. Für Stative mit 5/8"-Ge­winde können Sie den Gewindeeinsatz herausschrauben.

• Das TG-X 81 ist mit einem verriegelbarem Ein- und

Ausschalter erhältlich.

Anschluss

Das TG-X 80/81 ist mit einem 3-poligen XLR-Anschluss-

stecker ausgestattet. Sie können es an jeden Mikrofonein­gang anschließen. Zur besseren Signalübertragung sollten
Sie symmetrische Kabel verwenden.

Fachpersonal. Öffnen Sie das Mikrofon auf keinen Fall selbst,

Thank you for selecting the TG-X 80/81 dynamic
microphone. Please take some time to read carefully through
this product information before setting up the equipment.

Applications

The TG-X 80/81 is designed for miking vocals and

instruments. If the microphone is used at greater distances
e.g. miking of choirs it may be necessary to enhance the low
and high frequencies on the mixing console to obtain the
best sound. The TG-X 80/81 can be used handheld or on a
stand with the supplied microphone clamp.

Setting up

• Around the basket is a shock absorbing coloured rubber

ring, which can be exchanged by unscrewing the grille
basket. Once unscrewed, you have access to the foam pop
filter which can be removed for cleaning or replacement.

• In order to avoid “pop” sounds hold the microphone

below the mouth at a slight angle. Do not use the
microphone without its pop filter.

• Due to the close-talking effect, the miking distance

between the microphone and your mouth can make a
difference in sound and volume.

• The TG-X 80/81 features a hypercardioid polar pattern and

a high-gain-before feedback. In order to achieve maximum
gain-before-feedback, the monitor box should be at an
angle of 110° to the longitudinal axis of the microphone.

• Supply of the TG-X 80/81 includes the MKV 8 microphone

clamp for stands with 3/8" thread. For stands with 5/8"
thread unscrew the 3/8"-thread insertion piece.

• The TG-X 81 is available with an on/off switch that can be

locked in position if required.

Connection

The TG-X 80/81 is equipped with a 3-pin XLR-plug. The

microphone can be connected to any microphone input. For
best results we recommend the use of balanced microphone
cables into a balanced microphone input.

Service

Servicing must be carried out by qualified service

personnel only. Dismantling the microphone yourself will
invalidate the guarantee.

Applications

Le TG-X 80/81 a été conçu spécialement pour la prise de

son des voix et d’instruments. Lorsque l’on utilise ce micro
avec de plus grandes distances, par exemple pour la prise
d’un chœur, il peut s’avérer nécessaire d’augmenter les
graves et les aiguës sur la console de mélange. Le TG-X 80/81
s’utilise aussi bien tenu en main que fixé sur un pied de sol.

Mise en marche

• En dévissant la corbeille de protection du micro, on peut

facilement changer l’anneau de couleur ou l’écran anti­pop en mousse synthétique.

• Pour réduire le risque d’effets «Pop» nous vous conseillons

de tenir le microphone légèrement incliné sous la bouche.
N’utilisez jamais ce microphone sans sa protection en mousse.

• Grâce à son effet de proximité le son et l’intensité du son

changent avec la distance à la bouche.

• Le TG-X 80/81 dispose d’une directivité hypercardioïde et

il n’est pas sensible au Larsen. Il est important de veiller à
ce que le moniteurs de retour soient placés à un angle
d’environ 110° par rapport à l’axe longitudinal du micro­phone.

• Le TG-X 80/81 est livré avec la pince de microphone MKV 8

pour des pieds de sol avec filetage 3/8". Le filetage est dé­montable pour permettre l’utilisation d’un pied de sol
avec filetage 5/8".

• Le TG-X 81 est pourvu d’un interrupteur marche/arrêt.

Branchement

Le TG-X 80/81 est muni d’un connecteur XLR à 3

broches permettant la connexion à n’importe quel type d’en­trée de microphone. Pour optimiser la transmission de signal,
nous recommandons d’utiliser des câbles symétriques.

En cas de nécessité veuillez vous adresser à un techni-

cien beyerdynamic autorisé. N’ouvrez jamais le microphone,
vous risquerez sinon de perdre vous droits de garantie.
