PRODUKTINFORMATION SHM 22

Sie haben sich für das Kondensator-

Schwanenhalsmikrofon SHM 22 von beyerdynamic
entschieden. Vielen Dank für Ihr Vertrauen. Nehmen
Sie sich bitte einige Minuten Zeit und lesen Sie diese
Bedienungsanleitung vor Inbetriebnahme aufmerk­sam durch.

Anwendung

Das SHM 22 wird in Konferenzräumen,

Schulungsräumen, bei Tele-/Videokonferenzen, für
Protokollaufzeichnungen u.ä. eingesetzt.
Aufgrund der Nierencharakteristik ist das SHM 22
sehr rückkopplungsarm. Der flexible Schwanenhals
erlaubt eine optimale Ausrichtung auf die
Schallquelle.

SHM 22 F / SHM 22 H

Installation

Das SHM 22 F wurde speziell zur Decken-

montage in niedrigen Räumen, das SHM 22 H zur
abgehängten Deckenmontage in hohen Räumen
entwickelt. Das 8 m lange verdrehsichere Kabel am
SHM 22 H kann bei Bedarf gekürzt werden und
ermöglicht so eine Positionierung des Mikrofons in
jeder gewünschten Höhe.

Zum Einbau in normale Decken
verwenden Sie Standard-Schalter­dosen (ø 60 mm).

Zum Einbau in abgehängte
Decken verwenden Sie Standard­Hohlwanddosen
(ø 68 mm).

Anschluß

Verlegen Sie ein Mikrofonkabel (2-adrig

abgeschirmt) vom Verstärker zu der gewünschten
Stelle in der Decke. Verlegen Sie dieses Kabel unbe-

dingt getrennt von netzspannungsführenden
Leitungen. Das Mikrofonkabel sollte mit einer der
beiden beiliegenden Zugentlastungsschellen an der
Platine festgeschraubt werden (Zeichnung). Der
Anschluß an den Schraubklemmen ist wie folgt:
Innenleiter an + bzw. -, Schirm an GND/Shield.

Bei dünnen Innenleitern
des Mikrofonkabels
empfiehlt es sich, diese

mit Aderendhülsen

zu verstärken.

Montage

Entfernen Sie den Abdeckrahmen. Setzen Sie

die Metallträgerplatte mit der Platine vorsichtig in
die Schalterdose ein und schrauben Sie die
Trägerplatte mit den zwei mitgelieferten Schrauben
fest. Danach drücken Sie den Abdeckrahmen in die
Aussparungen der Trägerplatte.

Ausrichtung

Richten Sie den Schwanenhals so aus, daß

das Mikrofon direkt auf die Schallquelle zeigt. Das
SHM 22 H sollten Sie zuerst einige Zeit frei hängen
lassen, damit sich das Kabel streckt.

SHM 22 PF/PM Set

Die Schwanenhalsmikrofone SHM 22

PF/PM Set wurden zur Tischmontage entwickelt.

Anschluß

Das SHM 22 PF Set ist mit einem 3-pol.

Switchcraft TQG-Buchse sowie einem Einbaustecker
mit 1m Verbindungskabel und Vorverstärker CV 15
PV-N(C)-R ausgestattet.
Das SHM 22 PM Set ist mit einem 3-pol. Switchcraft
TQG-Stecker sowie einer Einbaubuchse mit 1m
Verbindungskabel und Vorverstärker CV 15 PV-N(C)­R ausgestattet.
Der Vorverstärker CV 15 PV-N(C)-R verfügt über
einen 3-pol. XLR-Anschluß.

Im Servicefall wenden Sie sich bitte an

autorisiertes Fachpersonal. Öffnen Sie das Mikrofon
auf keinen Fall selbst, Sie könnten sonst alle
Garantieansprüche verlieren.

Thank you for selecting the SHM 22 condenser

gooseneck microphone. Please take some time to
read carefully through this product information
before setting up the equipment.

Applications

The SHM 22 has been designed for sound

contracting applications including tele/video con­ferencing, choir miking and distance learning.
It has a cardioid polar response giving high gain
before feedback and the electret-condenser micro­phone elements give clear audio response even
when operating at extended distances from the
sound source.

SHM 22 F / SHM 22 H

Installation

The SHM 22 F has been

designed for wall and ceiling
mounting and utilises a standard
wall-plate (inner diameter:
60 mm) for easy installation.

The SHM 22 H has been designed
for use in rooms which have high
ceilings and where it is necessary
to hang the microphone in the
area of the sound source. It also
utilises a standard wall-plate and is
fitted with 8 metres of cable which
can be shortened to the desired
length by cutting and re-terminating
at the PCB.

Connection

Lay a cable (2 conductor + shield) from the

amplifier to the desired installation position. Take
care to route this cable separately from mains power
cables or any other cables or equipment which may
induce interference.

The microphone cable should be fixed with one of
the two enclosed strain-relief clamps and then
screwed to the PCB.

Connection to the screw
terminals is as follows:
inner-conductors to +
and - (take care to observe
phase) and the shield/drain
wire to ground (shield).

Mounting

When the installation terminations are

completed, place the microphone assembly into the
mounting box and fasten using the two screws. Take
care not to trap any of the cables between the plate
and the mounting box.

Adjustment

SHM 22 H: When the microphone has been

adjusted to the correct height and has settled into
its final position the gooseneck can then be adjusted
to the optimum position relative to the sound
source.
SHM 22 F: Following final installation adjust the
microphone to face the sound source.

SHM 22 PF/PM Set

The SHM 22 PF/PM Set gooseneck micro-

phones have been designed for conference table
mounting.

Connection

The SHM 22 PF Set features a flexible

gooseneck terminating in a 3-pin Switchcraft TQG
female connector allowing for flush mounting to a
table surface.
The SHM 22 PM Set also features a gooseneck but
terminates in a 3-pin Switchcraft TQG male connector.
While the SHM 22 PM Set also allows for flush
mounting to the table surface, it requires a 3-pin TQG
female receptacle which creates a larger surface
footprint than the PF version.
Both microphones have in-line preamplifiers with
male standard 3-pin XLR outputs.

Service

Servicing must be carried out by qualified

service personnel only. Dismantling the microphone
yourself will render the guarantee null and void.

Applications

Le SHM 22 est principalement destinés à la

prise de son lors de tables rondes, conférences, télé­et vidéo conférences et dans des salles de classes où
une apparence discrète du microphone est indispen­sable.
Les principaux avantages d’un microphone de surface
à gradient de pression résident dans:
Le SHM 22 a une directivité semi-cardioïde, ce qui
améliore considérablement le gain avant accrocha­ge arrière (Larsen) et cela sans aucune coloration du
son.

SHM 22 F / SHM 22 H

Branchement

Le SHM 22 F est conçu pour être fixé sur un

plafond bas. Le SHM 22 H est muni d’un câble per­mettant de le suspendre sous un plafond élevé. Ce
câble spécial de 8 mètres assure une excellente
suspension sans entortillement. Il peut en cas de
nécessité être raccourci et permet ainsi un position­nement optimal de n’importe quelle hauteur.

Pour l’encastrement dans un plafond
traditionnel vous pouvez utiliser un
boîtier d’encastrement à sceller
standard (diamètre intérieur: 60 mm).

Pour l’encastrement dans un
plafond suspendu vous pouvez
utiliser un boîtier d’encastre­ment spécial (diamètre extérieur:
68 mm).

Raccordement

Posez un câble microphone blindé à 2

conducteurs entre l’amplificateur et l’emplacement
choisi au plafond. Il est impératif que ce câble ne
soit pas en contact avec des câbles conducteurs d’é­lectricité. Le câble microphone devrait être fixé aux
extrémités avec un des serre-câbles fournis (voir
illustration). Le branchement sur les bornes á vis se
fait comme suit: conducteur sur + resp. -, blindage
sur GND/shield.

Si vous utilisez un câble
microphone avec des
conducteurs de faible
diamètre, il est
recommandé de les
renforcer avec une douille
à sertir.

Montage

Enlevez le cadre. Placez la platine avec pré-

caution dans le boîtier et fixez la avec les deux vis
fournies. Remettez en place le cadre de protection.

Orientation

Placez le col de cygne de façon à ce que le

microphone soit directement orienté vers le source
sonore. Avec un SHM 22 H il est important de le lais­ser pendre pendant un certain temps pour permett­re au câble de se détendre entièrement.

SHM 22 PF/PM Set

Les microphones sur cols de cygne SHM 22

PF/PM ont été conçus pour le montage sur table.

Raccordement

Le SHM 22 PF Set est équipé d’un jack TQG

switchcraft tripolaire, d’une fiche encastrée avec 1 m
de câble de raccordement et d'un préamplificateur
CV 15 PV-N(C)-R.
Le SMH 22 PM Set est équipé d’un connecteur TQG
switchcraft tripolaire, d’un jack encastré avec 1 m de
câble de raccordement et d’un préamplificateur
CV 15 PV-N(C)-R.
Le préamplificateur CV 15 PV-N(C)-R est doté d’un
raccordement XLR tripolaire.

Service après-vente

En cas de nécessité veuillez vous adresser à un
