INSTALLATION AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

INSTALLATION

1. RECEIVING INSPECTION:
Upon receipt, check all packages for evidence of shipping damage and for all components including product
dividers.
2. DIVIDERS:
Unit comes with two (2) product dividers that can be positioned in any location, but are typically
used to create three (3) product divisions. Each product divider is spring loaded and may be removed
by pushing forward or rearward to free it from the retainer bushings.
3. LOCATING COOLER:
Provide at least twelve inches of space between cabinet front and any adjacent wall or fixture, at left
end and Rear of cabinet.
OPERATION
:
1. ELECTRICAL SUPPLY AND CONNECTIONS:
The nominal voltage and frequency requirements for the unit are specified on the Data Plate
.
Plug the unit into a power source that meets these requirements. Low line voltage is often the cause of
service compliant. With unit running, verify that the line voltage is within + or – 10% of that
specified on the Data Plate. When performing maintenance on the unit, disconnect the unit from the
electrical power source. DO NOT USE AN EXTENSION CORD. The use of ungrounded extension
cords or overloaded circuit VOIDS COMPRESSOR WARRANTY.
2. INITIAL START-UP:
Energize unit and verify that the condenser and evaporator fans are running. The interior of the cabinet
should begin to feel cool within five (5) minutes.
3. TEMPERATURE CONTROL:
Factory setting of temperature control is at No.4 position (normal) which will maintain the product
at approximately 36 degrees Fahrenheit. For colder temperatures, turn knob clockwise one number at a
time. Excessive tampering with temperature control could lead to service problems. For operation
above 3000 ft. altitude, have internal thermostat adjustment made by a qualified serviceman.
4. CONDENSATE DISPOSAL:
The evaporator blower housing serves as a pan to collect and direct the condensate to the evaporator
pan located behind the front grille. Air flows over the pan hastens condensate evaporation so that
external drain plumbing is not required.
5. PRODUCT FILL LINE:
DO NOT FILL UNIT PAST THE PRODUCT FILL LINE THAT IS PROVIDED ON END WALLS
OF UNIT.
