1.2 Mounting Kit Reassembly
NOTE:
All parts should be cleaned to remove all dirt and other foreign material prior to reassembly. All parts should be thoroughly inspected for excessive wear, stress cracking, galling and pitting. Attention should be directed to threads, sealing surfaces and areas that will be subjected to sliding or rotating motion.
1.2.1 Assemble the striker cam (30) and the key (140) on the valve stem of the valve and tighten the set screws (150) on the valve stem.
1.2.2 Assemble the spring pin (50) in the SAB (20).
1.2.3 Assemble the SAB (20) on the valve stem such that the cylindrical surface of the spring pin (50) rests on the top face of the valve stem.
Service Instructions
1.2.4 Support the actuator with lifting straps as indicated in Figure 1.
1.2.5 Ensure that valve mounting bracket (10) is located correctly at the actuator dowel pin. Assemble the valve mounting bracket (10) on to the actuator using fasteners (70 and 80).
1.2.6 Lift the actuator along with valve mounting bracket (10) and place it over the valve such that actuator bore slides concentrically over the SAB (20). Care should be taken that the keyway of the actuator bore and the keyway of the SAB (20) are aligned and the actuator key (40) is in place in the SAB (20) keyway.
1.2.7 Assemble the fasteners (160, 60 and 170) at valve mounting bracket (10) to valve interface.
1.2.8 Assemble all four limit switches using fasteners (90, 100 and 110) on to the valve mounting bracket (10). Adjust the limit switches as per requirement without damaging the cam rollers.
