VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN - Algemeen

• Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing goed door en bewaar deze zorgvuldig.

• Gebruik dit apparaat alleen zoals beschreven in deze gebruiksaanwijzing.

• Dit apparaat mag niet gebruikt worden door kinderen en personen die door een lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke beperking, of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis het apparaat niet veilig kunnen gebruiken, tenzij ze instructies hebben gehad over het gebruik van het apparaat door een persoon die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid.

• Kinderen moeten in de gaten gehouden worden om er zeker van te zijn dat ze niet met het apparaat spelen.

• Laat reparaties uitvoeren door een gekwalificeerde monteur. Probeer nooit zelf het apparaat te repareren.

VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN - Elektriciteit en warmte

Bepaalde delen van het apparaat kunnen heet worden.

Raak deze niet aan om te voorkomen dat u zich verbrandt.

• Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met de aangegeven netspanning op het typeplaatje van het apparaat.

• Controleer of het stopcontact waarop u het apparaat aansluit, geaard is.

• Het apparaat mag niet gebruikt worden wanneer het apparaat of het aansluitsnoer zichtbaar beschadigd zijn. Bied in zo’n geval het apparaat ter controle of reparatie aan een gekwalificeerde monteur aan.

• Omdat voor de vervanging van het aansluitsnoer speciaal gereedschap nodig is, mag bij beschadiging van het aansluitsnoer, deze uitsluitend door een gekwalificeerde monteur vervangen worden.

• Ondeskundig uitgevoerde reparaties kunnen gevaarlijke gevolgen hebben.

• Als u de stekker uit het stopcontact neemt, trek dan aan de stekker zelf, niet aan het aansluitsnoer.

• Let erop dat het aansluitsnoer en de stekker niet in aanraking komen met hittebronnen. Laat het aansluitsnoer dan ook nooit over de kachel zelf hangen.

• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat nooit is afgedekt.

• Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buitenlucht of in een badkamer.

• Gebruik het apparaat nooit om artikelen op te drogen

• Neem de stekker uit het stopcontact na ieder gebruik en tijdens reiniging van het apparaat.

• Schakel het apparaat uit als u storingen ondervindt tijdens het gebruik, de stekker uit het stopcontact

haalt, of klaar bent met gebruik.

• Zet het apparaat op een hittebestendig vlak oppervlak. Let er op dat het apparaat niet kan omvallen.

• Het toestel mag niet in werking worden gesteld door middel van een externe tijdschakelaar, of door een

afzonderlijk systeem met afstandsbediening.

WERKING - Algemeen

Het apparaat is alleen bedoeld voor huishoudelijke doeleinden, niet voor professioneel gebruik.

WERKING - Voor het eerste gebruik

Haal de keramische kachel uit de verpakking en verwijder alle verpakkingsonderdelen.

WERKING - Montage steunvoetjes

Voordat u de convectorkachel mag gebruiken, moeten de twee steunvoetjes gemonteerd worden door middel van de bijgeleverde schroefjes, figuur 2.

WERKING - Plaatsing

Plaats de convectorkachel in de te verwarmen ruimte, op een stabiele ondergrond. De werking van de kachel is gebaseerd op het verwarmen van langsstromende lucht. Daarom is de beste plek om de convectorkachel te plaatsen ongeveer 20 à 25 cm voor het raam. Circulatie van lucht treedt op door afkoeling van de lucht door het raam en verwarming door de convectorkachel, zie figuur 3.

Zorg ervoor dat lucht gemakkelijk door de kachel kan stromen. Daarom moeten de onderkant en bovenkant van de convectorkachel altijd vrij blijven. Hang nooit artikelen op de convectorkachel om te drogen. Door de ontwikkelde warmte kunnen deze zeer gemakkelijk vlam vatten.

WERKING - Gebruik

1. Draai de thermostaatknop helemaal naar “O” .

3. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.

4. Kies met de gewenste functieknop de gewenste instelling Functieknop a = 1250Watt

Functieknop b = 750Watt

Functieknop a+b = 2000Watt

5. Draai de thermostaatknop in de richting van “MAX”. Het apparaat schakelt in als u een klik hoort, het indicatielampje aan/uit gaat dan branden. Door de thermostaatknop verder door te draaien, verhoogt u de ingestelde temperatuur.

6. Zet de turboventilator aan, met de functieknop c, als u de warmte snel in de ruimte wilt verspreiden. U kunt ook alleen de turboventilator aan zetten om alleen koude lucht te verspreiden

7. Zet na gebruik het apparaat weer uit door de functieknop uit zetten en neem de stekker uit het stopcontact. Zet de thermostaatknop weer op “O”

Om de ideale thermostaatinstelling te vinden, draait u de thermostaatknop helemaal rechtsom. Wanneer de ruimte op de gewenste temperatuur is, draait u de knop weer langzaam linksom, totdat u een klik hoort. Het apparaat slaat nu af. De temperatuurcontrole zorgt ervoor dat de ingestelde temperatuur gehandhaafd blijft.

• Zorg dat u de luchtinlaat en -uitlaat nooit afdekt.

• De thermostaat schakelt het verwarmingselement en de turboventilator uit zodra de gewenste temperatuur is bereikt.

• De convectorkachel is voorzien van een oververhittingsbeveiliging. Bij een te hoge bedrijfstemperatuur schakelt de convectorkachel automatisch uit. Als de temperatuur voldoende gedaald is, schakelt de oververhittingsbeveiliging uit en kan de convectorkachel weer gebruikt worden.

REINIGING EN ONDERHOUD

• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact en laat de convectorkachel goed afkoelen.

• Reinig de convectorkachel met een vochtige doek. Indien nodig kunt u de convectorkachel reinigen met een sopje. Zorg ervoor dat er geen vloeistof in de convectorkachel komt.

• Droog het apparaat na het reinigen grondig.

• Dompel het apparaat nooit onder in water.

Gebruik geen agressieve of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen of scherpe voorwerpen (zoals messen of harde borstels) bij het reinigen.

MILIEU

• Werp verpakkingsmateriaal zoals plastic en dozen in de daarvoor bestemde containers.

• Dit product aan het eind van de gebruiksduur niet inleveren als normaal huishoudelijkafval, maar bij

een inzamelpunt voor hergebruik van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur. Let op het symbool op het product, de gebruiksaanwijzing of de verpakking.

• De materialen kunnen hergebruikt worden zoals aangegeven. Door uw hulp bij hergebruik, de

verwerking van de materialen of ander vormen van de benutting van oude apparatuur levert u een belangrijke bijdrage aan de bescherming van ons milieu.

• Informeer bij de gemeente naar het juiste inzamelpunt bij u in de buurt.

GARANTIEBEPALINGEN

De importeur geeft onder de volgende voorwaarden 60 maanden na aankoopdatum garantie op deze apparatuur tegen defecten die zijn ontstaan door fabricage- en/of materiaalfouten.

1. In de genoemde garantieperiode zullen geen kosten worden berekend voor arbeidsloon en materiaal.

De onder garantie uitgevoerde reparatie verlengt de garantietermijn niet.

2. Defecte onderdelen of bij remplace (omruiling) de defecte apparaten zelf, worden automatisch

eigendom van de importeur.

3. Elke aanspraak op garantie dient vergezeld te gaan van het aankoopbewijs van de firma.

4. Aanspraken op garantie moeten worden gedaan bij de dealer waar het apparaat is gekocht of bij de

importeur.

5. De garantie is uitsluitend geldig voor de eerste koper en niet overdraagbaar.

6. De garantie is niet geldig voor schade die is ontstaan door: a. ongevallen, verkeerd gebruik, slijtage en/of verwaarlozing; b. foutieve installatie en/of gebruik op een manier die in strijd is met de geldende wettelijke, technische

of veiligheidsnormen; c. aansluiting op een andere netspanning dan die op het typeplaatje staat vermeld; d. een ongeautoriseerde wijziging; e. een reparatie die is uitgevoerd door derden; f. een onzorgvuldige transportwijze zonder geschikte verpakking respectievelijk bescherming.

7. Op deze garantiebepalingen zal geen aanspraak gemaakt kunnen worden bij: a. verliezen die zich tijdens het transport voordoen; b. het verwijderen of wijzigen van het serienummer van het apparaat.

8. Uitgezonderd van garantie zijn snoeren, lampen en glazen onderdelen.

9. De garantie geeft geen enkel recht op vergoeding van eventuele schade, buiten de vervanging

respectievelijk reparatie van de defecte onderdelen. De importeur kan nooit aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor eventuele vervolgschade of enigerlei andere consequenties die door of in relatie met de door hem geleverde apparatuur zijn ontstaan.

10. Om aanspraak te maken op garantie kunt u zich wenden tot uw winkelier. Bestron biedt ook de

mogelijkheid om het apparaat rechtstreeks ter reparatie aan te bieden aan de Bestron Service Dienst. Stuur echter nooit zomaar iets op. Het pakket kan dan namelijk geweigerd worden en eventuele kosten zijn voor uw rekening. Neem contact op met de Service Dienst en zij zullen u vertellen hoe u het apparaat moet inpakken en verzenden.

11. Het apparaat is niet voor professioneel gebruik geschikt.

• Lesen Sie sich diese Bedienungsanleitung aufmerksam durch und

bewahren Sie sie sorgfältig auf.

• Verwenden Sie das Gerät nur wie in dieser Bedienungsanleitung

beschrieben.

• Kinder oder Personen, denen es an Wissen oder Erfahrung im Umgang

mit dem Gerät mangelt, oder die in ihren körperlichen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten eingeschränkt sind, dürfen das Gerät nicht ohne Aufsicht oder Anleitung durch eine für ihre Sicherheit verantwortliche Person benutzen.

• Kinder müssen beaufsichtigt werden, damit sie nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.

• Lassen Sie Reparaturen von einem qualifizierten Mechaniker ausführen.

Versuchen Sie nie, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren.

SICHERHEITSBESTIMMUNGEN - Elektrizität und Wärme

Bestimmte Teile des Geräts können heiß werden.

Um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden, sollten Sie diese nicht berühren.

• Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Typenschild des

Gerätes angegebenen Stromstärke übereinstimmt.

• Kontrollieren Sie, dass die Steckdose, an die das Gerät angeschlossen

wird, geerdet ist.

• Wenn das Gerät oder das Anschlusskabel sichtbar beschägt sind, dürfen

diese nicht mehr benutzt werden. Lassen Sie das Gerät in einem solchen Fall von einem qualifizierten Mechaniker überprüfen oder reparieren.

• Da für den Austausch des Anschlusskabels spezielles Werkzeug benutzt

wird, darf dieses bei Beschädigung nur von einem qualifizierten Monteur ausgetauscht werden.

• Reparaturen, die nicht von einem qualifizierten Mechaniker ausgeführt

wurden, können gefährliche Folgen haben.

• Ziehen Sie beim Entfernen des Steckers aus der Steckdose am Stecker

und nicht am Kabel.

• Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Gerät nie abgedeckt ist. Sorgen Sie dafür,

dass das Anschlusskabel und der Stecker nicht mit Hitzequellen in Berührung kommen. Dass Kabel darf darum auch nie auf dem Ofen liegen.

SICHERHEITSBESTIMMUNGEN - Verwendung

• Bestimmte Teile des Geräts können heiß werden. Berühren Sie die

warmen Teile des Geräts nicht, um Verbrennungen zu vermeiden.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass das Anschlusskabel nirgends hängen bleibt, damit

das Gerät nicht herunterfallen kann.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe anderer Wärmequellen. Achten

Sie darauf, dass die warmen Teile des Geräts nicht in Kontakt mit leicht entflammbaren Stoffen wie Handtücher kommen.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nie im Freien oder im Badezimmer.

• Trocknen Sie keine Gegenstände auf dem Ofen.

• Ziehen Sie nach jedem Gebrauch und während der Reinigung des Geräts

den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus, wenn beim Gebrauch und beim Herausziehen

des Steckers aus der Steckdose Störungen auftreten oder wenn Sie das

• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine hitzebeständige flache Oberfläche. Achten

VOR DER ERSTEN VERWENDUNG

Nehmen Sie den Keramikheizer aus der Verpackung und entfernen Sie das Verpackungsmaterial.

Bei der ersten Verwendung des Konvektorofens kann Geruch entstehen. Dies hat mit einer ersten

Erwärmung der verwendeten Komponenten zu tun. Der Geruch verschwindet nach 1 bis 2 Minuten.

BENUTZUNG - Montage der Stützfüße

Bevor Sie den Konvektorofen benutzen können, müssen die zwei Stützfüße montiert werden mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben. Siehe Abbildung 2.

BENUTZUNG - Aufstellung

Stellen Sie den Konvektorofen in dem zu heizenden Raum auf einem stabilen Untergrund auf. Die Funktion des Ofens basiert auf der Erwärmung längsströmender Luft. Daher ist es am besten, den Konvektorofen ungefähr 20 bis 25 cm vor dem Fenster aufzustellen. Durch Abkühlung der Luft durch das Fenster und Erwärmung durch den Konvektorofen tritt eine Luftzirkulation ein. Siehe Abbildung 3.

Sorgen Sie dafür, dass die Luft bequem durch den Ofen strömen kann. Aus diesem Grund müssen die Unter- und die Oberseite des Konvektorofens immer frei bleiben. Hängen Sie keinesfalls Dinge zum Trocknen auf den Konvektorofen. Aufgrund der sich entwickelnden Wärme können diese sehr leicht Feuer fangen.

BENUTZUNG

1. Drehen Sie den Thermostatschalter auf “O”.

2. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Funktionswahlschalter auf “0” eingestellt ist.

3. Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose.

4. Wählen Sie die gewünschte Einstellung mit dem Funktionswahlschalter aus Funktionswahlschalter a = 1250Watt Funktionswahlschalter b = 750Watt Funktionswahlschalter a+b = 2000Watt

5. Drehen Sie den Thermostatschalter in Richtung “MAX”. Wenn Sie ein Klicken hören, ist das Gerät eingeschaltet. Die Betriebsanzeige fängt dann an zu leuchten. Durch weiteres Verdrehen des Thermostatschalters nach rechts können Sie die eingestellte Temperatur erhöhen.

6. Schalten Sie den Turboventilator ein mit dem Funktionswahlschalter c, wenn Sie die Wärme schnell im Raum verteilen möchten. Sie können den Turboventilator auch nur für kalte Luft einsetzen.

7. Schalten Sie das Gerät nach der Benutzung aus, in dem Sie den Funktionswahlschalter aus setzen, und ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose. Drehen Sie den Thermostatschalter wieder auf “O”

Zur Ermittlung der idealen Thermostateinstellung drehen Sie den Thermostatschalter bis zum Anschlag nach rechts. Drehen Sie dann, wenn der Raum die gewünschte Temperatur hat, den Schalter langsam wieder zurück nach links, bis ein Klicken zu hören ist. Das Gerät schaltet sich dann aus. Die Temperaturüberwachung bewirkt, dass die eingestellte Temperatur beibehalten wird.

• Achten Sie darauf, dass der Lufteinlass und -auslass nie abgedeckt sind.

• Der Thermostat schaltet das Heizelement und den Turboventilator aus, sobald die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht ist.

• Der Konvektorofen ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgerüstet. Bei einer hohen Betriebstemperatur schaltet sich der Konvektorofen automatisch aus. Sobald die Temperatur ausreichend gesunken ist, wird der Überhitzungsschutz ausgeschaltet und kann der Konvektorofen wieder verwendet werden.

REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG

• Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie den Konvektorofen gut abkühlen.

• Reinigen Sie den Konvektorofen mit einem feuchten Tuch. Falls erforderlich können Sie den Konvektorofen mit Seifenwasser reinigen. Achten Sie darauf, dass keine Flüssigkeit in den Konvektorofen gelangt.

• Trocknen Sie das Gerät nach der Reinigung gründlich ab.

• Tauchen Sie das Gerät nie unter Wasser.

Verwenden Sie zur Reinigung keine aggressiven Reinigungs- oder Scheuermittel oder scharfen Gegenstände (wie Messer oder harte Bürsten).

UMWELT

• Werfen Sie Verpackungsmaterial wie Kunststoff und Kartons in die dafür vorgesehenen Container.

• Geben Sie dieses Produkt am Ende der Nutzungsdauer nicht als normalen Haushaltsabfall ab,

sondern bei einem Sammelpunkt für die Wiederverwendung elektrischer und elektronischer Geräte. Achten Sie auf das Symbol auf dem Produkt, der Gebrauchsanweisung oder der Verpackung.

• Die Materialien können wie angegeben wiederverwendet werden. Durch Ihre Hilfe bei der

Wiederverwendung, der Verarbeitung der Materialien oder anderen Formen der Benutzung alter Geräte liefern Sie einen wichtigen Beitrag zum Schutz unserer Umwelt.

• Erkundigen Sie sich bei den Stadtverwaltungen nach dem richtigen Sammelpunkt in Ihrer Nähe.

GARANTIEBESTIMMUNGEN

Der Importeur gewährt für dieses Gerät unter den folgenden Bedingungen 60 Monate Garantie ab Kaufdatum auf Schäden, die aufgrund von Herstellungs- und/ oder Materialfehlern entstanden sind.

1. Innerhalb der genannten Garantiefrist werden keine Kosten für Arbeitslohn und Material berechnet. Die

Garantiefrist wird durch die unter Garantie ausgeführte Reparatur nicht verlängert.

2. Schadhafte Teile oder, im Falle eines Umtauschs, die schadhaften Geräte selbst werden automatisch

3. Bei jedem Garantieanspruch muss ein Kaufbeleg der Firma vorgelegt werden.

4. Garantieansprüche müssen entweder beim Händler, bei dem das Gerät gekauft wurde, geltend

gemacht werden oder beim Importeur.

5. Die Garantie gilt nur für den ersten Käufer und ist nicht übertragbar.

6. Die Garantie gilt nicht für Schäden, die entstanden sind durch: a. Unfälle, verkehrte Benutzung, Abnutzung und/oder Verwahrlosung b. falsche Montage und/oder Benutzung, die gegen die einschlägigen gesetzlichen und technischen

Normen oder gegen Sicherheitsnormen verstößt c. Anschluss an eine andere Netzspannung als die auf dem Typenschild angegebene d. eine ungenehmigte Veränderung e. eine Reparatur, die durch Dritte ausgeführt wurde f. nachlässigen Transport ohne geeignete Verpackung bzw. ohne geeigneten Schutz

7. Auf diese Garantiebestimmungen kann kein Anspruch erhoben werden im Falle von: a. Verlusten, die während des Transports auftreten b. Entfernung oder Änderung der Geräteseriennummer

8. Ausgenommen von der Garantie sind Kabel, Lampen und Glasteile.

9. Außer einem Ersatz bzw. einer Reparatur der schadhaften Teile räumt die Garantie kein Recht

auf Erstattung eines eventuellen Schadens ein. Der Importeur kann in keinem Fall für eventuelle Folgeschäden oder irgendwelche anderen Folgen haftbar gemacht werden, die durch das von ihm gelieferte oder in Verbindung mit dem von ihm gelieferten Gerät entstanden sind.

10. Um Garantieleistungen in Anspruch zu nehmen, wenden Sie sicht direkt an Ihren Händler. Bestron

bietet auch die Möglichkeit direkt mit dem Werkskundendienst abzuwickeln. Voraussetzung hierfür ist, dass Sie sich zunächst telefonisch, per Fax oder Mail an den Werkskundendienst wenden. Bitte schicken Sie keine Geräte unaufgefordert. Insbesondere dürfen Pakete niemals unfrei eingesendet werden. Sprechen Sie daher zuerst mit uns. Wir sagen Ihnen wie Sie Ihr Gerät an uns einsenden sollen.

AVANT LA PREMIÈRE UTILISATION

Sortez le radiateur céramique et enlevez tout l’emballage.

Lors de la première utilisation, le radiateur à convection peut dégager une odeur particulière. Ceci est

lié au premier chauffage des composants utilisés. L’odeur se dissipe en 1 à 2 minutes.

UTILISATION - Montage des pieds d’appui

Avant d’utiliser le radiateur à convection, vous devez obligatoirement monter les deux pieds d’appui avec les vis fournies, voir la figure 2.

UTILISATION - Emplacement

Placez le radiateur à convection dans la pièce à chauffer, sur une surface stable. Le principe de fonctionnement du radiateur est de réchauffer l’air qui passe. La place idéale du radiateur à convection

sera à 20 à 25 cm devant une fenêtre. La circulation de l’air se fait automatiquement, parce que la fenêtre le refroidit et que le radiateur le réchauffe, voir la figure 3.

Veillez à ce l’air circule librement à travers le radiateur. Le dessus et le dessous du radiateur à convection doivent toujours rester libres. Ne suspendez jamais aucun objet directement sur le radiateur à convection pour le faire sécher. La chaleur développé peut le mettre en feu trop facilement.

UTILISATION

1. Mettez le bouton de réglage de la température à fond sur “O” .

2. Le sélecteur de fonction doit être sur “0”.

3. Branchez la fiche.

4. Sélectionnez la touche de fonction souhaitée est le réglage désiré Bouton de fonction a =1250 Watt Bouton de fonction b = 750 Watt Bouton de fonction a+b = 2000 Watt

5. Tournez le bouton de réglage de la température vers la marque “HI”. L’appareil se met à fonctionner au moment où vous entendez le déclic, et le témoin lumineux marche/arrêt s’allume. Vous continuez de tourner le bouton de réglage de la température pour régler une température plus élevée.

6. Allumez le turboventilateur pour diffuser probablement la chaleur dans la pièce. Vous pouvez également allumer le ventilateur turbo pour distribuer de l’air froid

7. Éteignez l’appareil (sélecteur de fonction sur “0” ) et débranchez la fiche dès que vous avez fini de l’utiliser. Remettez le bouton de réglage de la température sur “O”.

Pour déterminer la position idéale du bouton de réglage de la température, vous tournez d’abord le bouton à fond vers la droite. Dès que la pièce a atteint la température désirée, vous tournez le bouton en sens inverse, vers la gauche, jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez le déclic. L’appareil cesse son activité. Le mécanisme de contrôle de la température maintient maintenant la température réglée.

• Veillez à ne jamais recouvrir l’entrée ni la sortie d’air.

• Le thermostat arrête l’élément chauffant et le turboventilateur dès que la température réglée est atteinte.

• Le radiateur à convection est équipé d’un coupe-circuit thermique. Si la température de fonctionnement est trop élevée, le radiateur à convection s’éteint automatiquement. Une fois que la température est redescendue à un niveau sûr, le coupe-circuit thermique se désactive et le radiateur à convection est à nouveau utilisable

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN

• Débranchez la fiche et laissez bien refroidir le radiateur à convection.

• Nettoyez le radiateur à convection avec un chiffon humide. Si nécessaire, vous pouvez nettoyer le radiateur à convection avec un peu d’eau chaude additionnée d’un peu de détergent pour la vaisselle. Ne laissez pas l’humidité pénétrer à l’intérieur du radiateur à convection.

• Après le nettoyage, séchez bien l’appareil.

• N’immergez jamais l’appareil.

N’utilisez pas de détergents agressifs ou décapants ni d’objets tranchants (tels que couteaux ou brosses dures) pour le nettoyage.

ENVIRONNEMENT

• Jetez le matériel d’emballage, tel que le plastique et les boîtes, dans les conteneurs prévus à cet effet.

• Lorsque l’appareil est usé, ne le mettez pas aux ordures ménagères, mais portez-le dans un centre de collecte agréé pour les appareils électriques et électroniques. Attention au symbole figurant sur le produit, le mode d’emploi ou l’emballage.

BEFORE FIRST USE

Remove the ceramic heater from the packaging and remove all the packaging materials.

The convector heater may emit a slight smell on use for the first time. This is due to the appliance

being heated for the first time. The smell will disappear after 1 to 2 minutes.

USE - Assembly of the foot support

The two support feet must be fitted by using the screws, before you use the convector heater. Please see figure 2.

USE - Location

Place the convector heater on a stable surface in the room to be heated. The heater heats the air flowing past the appliance. For this reason, the best place for the convector heater is 20 to 25 cm in front of a window. An air flow is generated by the cooling of air passing the window and the heating of air passing the convector heater; see figure 3.

Make sure that air can pass through the heater easily. For this reason

the top and bottom of the convector heater must always remain unobstructed. Never hang clothing, etc., over the convector heater to dry. The heat produced by the heater could readily result in a fire.

USE

1. Rotate the thermostat dial to “O”.

2. Make sure the function dial is set to “0”.

3. Insert the plug into the plug socket.

4. Use the function dial to select the desired setting.

5. Rotate the thermostat dial towards the “MAX” setting. The appliance will turn itself on, a click will be

heard and the On/Off indicator light will be lit. The temperature is increased by turning the thermostat dial further.

6. Switch on the turbo fan if you wish to distribute the heat through the room quickly.

You can also use the turbo fan to distribute cold air. By only switching on the turbo button.

7. Switch the appliance off after use by turning the function dial to the “0” position and remove the plug

from the wall socket. Set the thermostat dial to the “O” setting again.

To find the ideal thermostat setting, rotate the thermostat dial clockwise as far as possible. Once the room has reached the desired temperature, slowly rotate the dial anticlockwise until a click is heard. The appliance will then turn itself off. The temperature control will ensure that the room remains at the set temperature.

• Never cover the air inlet or the air outlet.

• The thermostat switches off the heating element and the turbo fan once the desired temperature has been reached.

• The convector heater is fitted with an overheating safeguard. The convector heater will be switched off automatically if the appliance’s internal temperature becomes too high. The overheating safeguard will be disabled once the appliance has cooled down sufficiently and the convector heater can then be used again.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Remove the plug from the plug socket and allow the convector heater to cool down.

• Clean the convector heater with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a little washing-up liquid to clean the convector heater. Make sure no moisture enters the convector heater.

• Dry the appliance thoroughly after cleaning.

• Never immerse the appliance in water.

Never use corrosive or scouring cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) to clean the appliance.

THE ENVIRONMENT

• Dispose of packaging material, such as plastic and boxes, in the appropriate waste containers.

• When this product reaches the end of its useful life do not dispose of it by putting it in a dustbin;

hand it in at a collection point for the reuse of electrical and electronic equipment. Please refer to the symbols on the product, the user’s instructions or the packaging.

• The materials can be re-used as indicated. Your help in the re-use, recycling or other means of

making use of old electrical equipment will make an important contribution to the protection of the environment.

In occasione del primo utilizzo, il riscaldatore a convezione potrebbe emettere un leggero odore. Ciò si

Per questa ragione è opportune collocarlo a 20-25 cm da una finestra. Un flusso d’aria viene generato tramite il raffreddamento dell’aria che passa dalla finestra all’interno dell’elettrodomestico, dove viene riscaldata; vedi figura3.

Assicurarsi che l’aria passi agevolmente attraverso il riscaldatore. Per questa ragione la parte alta e la base del riscaldatore devono rimanere libere. Non appendere mai indumenti o altro ad asciugare sull’elettrodomestico, in quando il calore prodotto dal riscaldatore potrebbe in breve tempo provocare un incendio.

USO

1. Ruotare la manopola del termostato su “LO”.

2. Assicurarsi che il pulsante sia posizionato su “0”.

3. Inserire la spina nella presa.

4. Utilizzare il selettore di funzione per selezionare l’impostazione desiderata. Pulsante a = 1250Watt. Pulsante b = 750Watt. Pulsante a+b = 2000Watt

5. Ruotare la manopola del termostato verso la posizione “MAX”. L’apparecchio si accende, un clic di essere ascoltati e di accensione / spegnimento spia si accende. La temperatura aumenta ruotando la manopola del termostato oltre.

6. Accendere il ventilatore del turbo, se si desidera distribuire il calore attraverso la stanza in fretta. È inoltre possibile utilizzare il ventilatore del turbo per distribuire aria fredda. Da solo di accendere il tasto turbo.

7. Dopo l’uso spegnere l’elettrodomestico, portando la manopola in posizione “0” e togliere la spina. Portare nuovamente la manopola del termostato su “LO”.

Per individuare l’impostazione corretta del termostato, ruotare il termostato quanto più possibile in senso orario. Una volta raggiunta la temperatura ideale nel locale da riscaldare, ruotare il termostato in senso antiorario sino a udire un clic. Il ventilatore si spegnerà e il sistema di controllo della temperatura farà in modo che la temperatura del locale si mantenga sempre al livello impostato.

• Non coprire mai le bocchette di immissione o emissione dell’aria.

• Il termostato spegnerà la resistenza e la ventola al raggiungimento della temperatura desiderata.

• Il riscaldatore è dotato di un dispositivo di sicurezza contro il surriscaldamento. Si spegnerà automaticamente quando la temperatura interna dell’elettrodomestico raggiunge un livello eccessivo. Il dispositivo di sicurezza sarà disattivato non appena l’elettrodomestico si sarà sufficientemente raffreddato; a quel punto il riscaldatore potrà essere messo nuovamente in funzione.

PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE

• Togliere la spina dalla presa a muro e lasciare raffreddare completamente l’elettrodomestico.

• Pulire il riscaldatore con un panno umido. Se necessario, utilizzare del detersivo per stoviglie per pulire il riscaldatore. Evitare che l’acqua entri nel riscaldatore.

• Dopo la pulizia, asciugarlo accuratamente.

• Non immergere mai l’elettrodomestico in acqua.

Per la pulizia dell’elettrodomestico non utilizzare detergenti corrosivi o abrasivi né oggetti appuntiti (coltelli o spazzole).

TUTELA DELL’AMBIENTE

• Gettare il materiale di imballaggio, come plastica e cartone, negli appositi contenitori.

• Una volta raggiunta la durata massima del prodotto, non smaltirlo alla stregua dei rifiuti generali,

ma portarlo presso un punto di raccolta per il riciclo di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche. Prestare attenzione al simbolo sul prodotto, alle istruzioni per l’uso o all’imballaggio.

• I materiali possono essere riutilizzati come indicato. Grazie al riciclaggio, la trasformazione di

materiali o altri metodi di utilizzo di vecchie apparecchiature contribuiscono in modo essenziale alla salvaguardia dell’ambiente.

• Rivolgersi al proprio comune per informazioni sul punto di raccolta più vicino.

Di seguito sono riportate le condizioni alle quali l’importatore fornisce la garanzia per il presente apparecchio per un periodo di 60 mesi a decorrere dalla data d’acquisto, a copertura dei difetti di materiale e/o di fabbricazione.

1. Durante la validità di tale periodo di garanzia non verrà addebitato alcun costo di manodopera o di

materiale. Le riparazioni effettuate nel corso di validità della garanzia non prolungano la durata della stessa.

2. Le parti difettose o, in caso di sostituzione (cambio), l’apparecchio difettoso stesso divengono

automaticamente proprietà dell’importatore.

3. Qualsiasi ricorso alla garanzia dovrà essere accompagnato dalla prova d’acquisto dell’azienda

rivenditrice.

4. I ricorsi alla garanzia devono essere eseguiti presso il rivenditore ove l’apparecchio è stato acquistato

o presso l’importatore.

5. La garanzia è valida esclusivamente per il primo acquirente e non è trasferibile.

6. La garanzia non si applica ai danni derivanti da: a. incidenti, uso improprio, usura e/o negligenza; b. erronea installazione e/o utilizzo in contrasto con le disposizioni normative, tecniche o di sicurezza

vigenti;

c. collegamento del prodotto a una tensione di rete diversa da quella indicata nella targhetta di

identificazione; d. modifiche non autorizzate; e. riparazioni eseguite da terzi; f. trasporto eseguito in modo improprio privo dell’imballaggio o delle protezioni idonee.

7. Le presenti condizioni di garanzia non si applicano inoltre in caso di: a. perdite che si verificano durante il trasporto; b. rimozione o modifica del numero di serie dell’apparecchio.

8. Sono esclusi dalla garanzia i cavi, le spie luminose, le lampade e i componenti in vetro.

9. La garanzia non riconosce alcun diritto al risarcimento di eventuali danni al di là della mera

sostituzione o riparazione delle parti difettose. In nessun caso l’importatore potrà essere ritenuto responsabile per eventuali danni consequenziali o per conseguenze di altro tipo verificatesi a causa delle apparecchiature da questi fornite o a esse correlate.

10. Per reclamare la garanzia, potete rivolgervi al vostro negoziante. Bestron offre anche la possibilità

di far riparare l’apparecchio direttamente dal Centro assistenza Bestron. Tuttavia, non spedite mai l’apparecchio senza aver fatto le dovute considerazioni. Il pacco può infatti essere respinto e le eventuali spese sono a vostro carico. Contattate il Centro assistenza e vi diranno come imballare e spedire l’apparecchio.

11. L’apparecchio non è concepito per l’uso professionale.

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO

Saque la calefacción de cerámica de la caja y retire todo el material de embalaje.

La primera vez el convector puede despedir olor. Esto tiene que ver con el calentamiento, por primera

vez, de los componentes usados. El olor desaparece transcurridos 1 a 2 minutos.

USO - Montaje de pies de soporte

Los dos pies de apoyo deberá estar equipado con los tornillos, antes de utilizar el aire caliente por convección. Véase figura 2.

USO - Colocación

Coloque el convector en el lugar que desea calentar, sobre una superficie estable. El funcionamiento de la calefacción se basa en el calentamiento de aire circulante. Por ello, el mejor lugar para colocar el convector es frente a una ventana, a unos 20-25 cm de la misma. La circulación del aire se origina por el enfriamiento del aire por la ventana y el calentamiento del convector, véase figura 3.

Asegúrese de que el aire puede circular fácilmente por la calefacción. Por ello la parte inferior y superior del convector siempre deben permanecer libres. Nunca cuelgue artículos en el convector para secar. Por el calor desarrollado pueden prender fuego fácilmente.

USO

1. Gire la perilla del termostato completamente a la posión “LO” .

2. Asegúrede de que la perilla de selección de funciones está en la pósión “0”.

3. Introduzca el enchufe en la toma de alimentación.

4. Utilice el dial de función para seleccionar el ajuste deseado. Botón a = 1250Watt Botón b = 750Watt Botón a+b = 2000Watt

5. Gire el mando del termostato hacia la “MAX”. El aparato se enciende, un “clic” ser oído y el de encendido / apagado la luz indicadora se encenderá. Se aumenta la temperatura girando el mando del termostato más.

6. Encender el ventilador turbo si desea distribuir el calor a través de la sala rápidamente. También puede utilizar el ventilador turbo para distribuir el aire frío. Por sólo poner en marcha el botón de turbo.

7. Después de usar el aparato, devuelva la perilla de función a la posición “0” para apagarlo y retire el enchufe de la toma de alimentación. Vuelva a colocar la perilla del termostato en la posición “LO”

Para encontrar la posición ideal, gire el regulador del termostato completamente hacia la derecha. Una vez el lugar haya alcanzado la temperatura, devuelva el regulador hacia la izquierda hasta que escuche un clic. El aparato se apaga. El sistema de control de la temperatura se encarga de mantener constante la temperatura fijada.

• Asegúrese de no cubrir nunca los orificios de entrada y salida del aire.

• El termostato apaga el calefactor y el turboventilador en cuanto se ha alcanzado la temperatura deseada.

• El convector está equipado con un sistema de seguridad para evitar el recalentamiento. Cuando la temperatura de funcionamiento es demasiado alta, el convector se apaga automáticamente. Cuando la temperatura ha descendido lo suficiente, el sistema de seguridad para evitar el recalentamiento se apaga y puede volver a usarse el convector.

LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO

• Retire el enchufe de la fuente de alimentación y deje enfriar bien el convector.

• Limpie el convector con un paño húmedo. De ser necesario también puede limpiar el convector con agua jabonosa. Asegúrese de que la humedad no entra al interior del aparato.

• Después de la limpieza, séquelo bien.

• No sumerja nunca este aparato en agua.

No use limpiadores fuertes ni abrasivos, ni objetos con filo (como cuchillos o cepillos con cerdas duras) para limpiar el aparato.

MEDIO AMBIENTE

• Tire el material de embalaje, como plástico y cajas, en los contenedores destinados para ello.

• No tire este producto al final de su vida útil con los residuos domésticos normales, en su lugar

llévelo a un centro de recolección para reutilización de aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos. Tenga en cuenta el símbolo que aparece en el aparato, el manual de instrucciones o el embalaje.

• Los materiales pueden reutilizarse como se ha indicado. Su ayuda para reutilización,

procesamiento de materiales u otras formas de utilización de aparatos viejos es una contribución importante a la conservación de nuestro medio ambiente.

• Infórmese con las autoridades sobre los puntos de recolección en su localidad.

DISPOSICIONES DE GARANTÍA

Bajo las siguientes condiciones, y durante un período de 60 meses contado a partir de la fecha de compra, el importador otorgará garantía de este aparato por defectos ocasionados por deficiencias en la fabricación o en los materiales.

1. Durante el período de garantía mencionado no se cobrarán los costes de la mano de obra ni el

material. Una reparación que tenga lugar durante el período de garantía no prolonga dicho período.

2. En caso de reemplazo, las piezas defectuosas o los aparatos defectuosos mismos pasarán

automáticamente a propiedad del importador.

3. Toda reclamación por garantía deberá ir acompañada de la factura de compra de la empresa.

4. Toda reclamación por garantía deberá hacerse al distribuidor donde ha sido comprado el aparato o al

importador.

5. La garantía es válida únicamente para el comprador y no es susceptible de transferencia.

6. La garantía no cubre los daños ocasionados por: a. accidentes, mala utilización, desgaste y/o descuido; b. mala instalación y/o uso en contradicción con las normas técnicas o de seguridad legales

vigentes; c. conexión a una red eléctrica cuyo voltaje no corresponde al voltaje indicado en la placa; d. una modificación no autorizada; e. una reparación ejecutada por terceros; f. negligencia en el transporte del aparato sin el embalaje o protección adecuados.

7. No podrá apelarse a estas disposiciones de garantía en los siguientes casos: a. pérdida ocurrida durante el transporte; b. remoción o modificación del número de serie del aparato.

8. La garantía no cubre los cables, las bombillas, ni las partes de cristal.

9. La garantía no concede derecho a reclamar indemnización alguna por daños, diferente a la sustitución

o reparación, respectivamente, de las partes defectuosas. El importador no podrá ser responsabilizado por daños consecuenciales o por cualquier otra clase de efectos causados por el aparato suministrado por él o que guarden relación con el mismo.

10. Para hacer valer la garantía. Puede acudir a la tienda donde compró el producto. Bestron también

ofrece la posibilidad de entregar el aparato directamente al servicio técnico Bestron para su reparación. Pero no podrá enviarlo de cualquier manera. El paquete podría ser rechazado y los costes asociados correrían de su cuenta. Póngase en contacto con el servicio técnico, donde le indicarán cómo debe embalar y enviar el aparato.

11. Este aparato no es apto para uso profesional.
