FOLLOW HOOD INSTALLATION GUIDE STEPS 1 TO 3
PRIOR TO WALL EXTENSION INSTALLATION.
CAUTION
Due to the weight of this hood, ensure that the wood strip is
attached to all of the available studs (2 studs minimum for
36" width hood and 3 studs minimum for 48" or 60" width
hood); not into the wall alone.
Measure and mark a
level line on wall above
cooktop location for the
wood mounting strip.
Remove wood mounting strip from back of
hood.
Center wood mounting
strip over location.
Use no. 10 x 2’’ flat
head screws to secure
the mounting strip to
the wall.
Make sure to hit the
wall studs.

Insert house wiring through top, right hole.
Rest the back cavity of the wall extension on wood mounting
strip (provided with the hood). Secure upper portion of the wall
extension to wood mounting strip with (up to) 6 no. 8 x 5/8”
screws (included).
Drill two 3/16” diameter holes into the wall for wall anchors
through two of the existing lower holes of the wall extension.
Then, install both wall anchors, both washers and 2 no. 8 x 5/8”
screws (included).
Using pliers, unfold to 90° both wall extension metal tabs to
align hood during installation.

Remove the hood
electrical compartment
and insert house wiring
through hood wire

Rest the back cavity of

AVANT D’INSTALLER LA RALLONGE DE HOTTE, SUIVRE LES
ÉTAPES
En raison du poids élevé de cette hotte, s’assurer que la
lisière de bois soit bien rattachée à tous les montants
disponibles (un minimum de 2 montants pour une hotte de 36
po de largeur et un minimum de 3 montants pour une hotte
de 48 po ou 60 po de largeur). Ne pas visser la lisière de bois
seulement au mur.

Insérer le câble d’alimentation électrique dans le trou sur le
dessus, à droite.
Appuyer la cavité arrière de la rallonge de hotte sur la lisière
de bois (fournie avec la hotte). Fixer la partie supérieure de la
rallonge de hotte à la lisière de bois avec (jusqu’à) 6 vis
n° 8 x 5/8 po (incluses).
Percer deux trous de 3/16 po de diamètre dans le mur pour les
douilles à expansion à travers deux des trous inférieurs de la
rallonge de hotte. Puis, insérer les 2 douilles à expansion, les
2 rondelles et 2 vis n° 8 x 5/8 po (fournies).

À l’aide d’une pince, déplier les deux languettes de la rallonge
de hotte à 90° afin d’aligner la hotte pendant l’installation.

Retirer le couvercle
de la boîte de jonction de la hotte et insérer le câble
d’alimentation électrique par le serrefils.
Appuyer la cavité
arrière de la hotte
sur les languettes
de métal de la rallonge de hotte. Fixer
la hotte à la rallonge
de hotte à l’aide de
8 vis quadrex n° 1032 x 1/2 po (4 de
chaque côté).

Dado el peso de la campana, compruebe que la regleta de
montaje esté sujeta a todos los montantes disponibles

Inserte el cableado de la casa a través el agujero en la parte su-
perior, a la derecha.
Descanse la cavidad posterior de la extensión sobre la regleta
de montaje (incluida con la campana). Asegure la parte superior de la extensión a la regleta de montaje con (hasta) 6 tornillos no. 8 x 5/8 pulg. (incluidos).
Perfore dos orificios de 3/16 pulg. en la pared para las anclas,
a través de dos de los orificios inferiores existentes en la extensión. Posteriormente instale las dos anclas de pared, las dos
arandelas y 2 tornillos no. 8 x 5/8 pulg.
