LIVELLO DI UMIDITA’ RELATIVA

Gli esseri umani hanno bisogno di un certo livello di umidità per sentirsi bene. L’uso di un umidica­tore aiuta a mantenere il giusto livello di umidità in casa, idealmente compreso fra il 40 e il 60%. Un
grado di umidità inferiore al 30% può creare un ambiente secco e sgradevole.
La quantità di vapore acqueo presente nell’aria è solitamente inferiore a quella necessaria per satu­rarla. Per umidità relativa si intende appunto la quantità di vapore acqueo presente nell’aria rispetto
alla quantità che essa potrebbe inglobare alla temperatura corrente.

AVVERTENZE

Prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio, leggete attentamente il presente manuale e conservatelo per
eventuali riferimenti futuri.

Pericolo

Non immergete la base dell’umidicatore in acqua ed evitate che l’acqua penetri al suo interno.

Non aprite mai la base per evitare il rischio di scariche elettriche.

Avvertenza

Prima di collegare l’apparecchio, controllate che la tensione indicata sulla placchetta corrisponda a
quella della rete locale.
L’apparecchio funziona con tensioni comprese fra 220 e 240 V.
Nel caso in cui il cavo di alimentazione fosse danneggiato dovrà essere sostituito dai rivenditori

specializzati oppure da personale debitamente qualicato, per evitare situazioni pericolose.
Tenete il cavo lontano da superci incandescenti.
L’apparecchio non è destinato a persone (inclusi bambini) con capacità mentali, siche o sensoriali

ridotte, fatti salvi i casi in cui tali persone abbiano ricevuto assistenza o formazione per l’uso dell’ap­parecchio da una persona responsabile della loro sicurezza.
Adottate le dovute precauzioni per evitare che i bambini giochino con l’apparecchio.
Non toccate il generatore di vapore quando l’apparecchio è collegato alla presa di corrente.

Attenzione

Nel caso in cui l’apparecchio produca odori o rumori anomali, spegnetelo e scollegatelo immediata­mente dalla presa di corrente.

Prima di spostare, pulire o riempire l’umidicatore, scollegatelo dalla presa di corrente.

Quando il serbatoio dell’acqua è vuoto, non accendete l’apparecchio.
Non pulite il generatore di vapore utilizzando oggetti metallici o duri.
Non indirizzate il getto di vapore verso mobili o apparecchi elettrici.
Tenete l’umidicatore alla normale temperatura ambiente e non usatelo in caso di temperature mol­to basse (inferiori ai 0 °C).

Accertatevi che l’umidicatore e il cavo siano sempre fuori dalla portata dei bambini (almeno a 1

metro di distanza).

Non utilizzate l’umidicatore in luoghi umidi o in prossimità dell’acqua.
Non utilizzate l’umidicatore in luoghi in cui l’umidità supera il 50%.

Non esponete l’apparecchio a temperature estreme o ai raggi diretti del sole.

Non utilizzate l’umidicatore all’esterno.

Questo apparecchio è destinato esclusivamente a uso domestico.

ISTRUZIONI PER L’USO

RIEMPIMENTO DEL SERBATOIO DELL’ACQUA E AGGIUNTA DI ESSENZE

Rimuovere il serbatoio dell’acqua dall’apparecchio e capovolgerlo. Togliere il tappo del
serbatoio svitandolo in
senso antiorario.
Riempire il serbatoio esclusivamente con acqua di rubinetto, MA CON TEMPERATURA
COMPRESA TRA 10 E 50°C; NON VERSARE L’ACQUA DIRETTAMENTE DAL RUBI­NETTO! Fig. 2

Immettere nel serbatoio esclusivamente acqua. Non aggiungere in nessun caso
additivi, come farmaci per inalazioni o oli essenziali.

Rimontate il coperchio sul serbatoio dell’acqua e ruotatelo in senso orario no a chiuderlo

completamente.
Reinserite il serbatoio dell’acqua nella base riportandolo con cautela nella sua posizione
originale.

GLI OLI ESSENZIALI POSSONO ESSERE AGGIUNTI, MA SOLO NELL’APPOSITA
VASCHETTA:

togliere la vaschetta dal serbatoio dell’acqua aiutandosi con le due alette laterali, togliere il
coperchietto e mettere qualche goccia di olio. Poi richiudere il coperchietto e riposizionare
la vaschetta nella posizione originale. Fig. 3

Inserite la spina nella presa di corrente a muro.
Non utilizzate cavi di prolunga.
Ruotate la manopola di accensione in senso orario portandola nella posizione di accen­sione.
La spia di accensione si illumina.
Per spegnere l’umidicatore, ruotate la manopola di accensione in senso antiorario por­tandola nella posizione di spegnimento.
La spia di accensione si spegne.
Scollegate la spina dalla presa a muro.
Se non intendete utilizzare l’apparecchio per due o più giorni, svuotate il serbatoio dell’ac­qua e la base e puliteli con un panno e una spugna morbida. Lasciate il serbatoio dell’ac­qua aperto per farlo asciugare completamente.
Eviterete così che si formino alghe e batteri.
Nota: prima di riempire il serbatoio dell’acqua, scollegate sempre l’apparecchio dalla pre­sa di corrente.

Tasto RESET: quando nisce l’acqua e quando si attiva l’interruttore di sicurezza antica­duta per far ripartire l’umidicatore è necessario premere il tasto RESET, per poter reset-

tare le impostazioni del termostato.

INTERRUZIONE AUTOMATICA DEL VAPORE

L’interruttore di sicurezza spegne automaticamente il generatore di vapore per arrestare
l’emissione di vapore, quando il livello dell’acqua è troppo basso.
Quando l’umidicatore viene capovolto, il sensore di capovolgimento spegne automatica­mente il generatore di vapore per arrestare l’emissione di vapore.

PULIZIA

Non utilizzate mai agenti per pulizia o abrasivi.
non immergete la base, il cavo di alimentazione o la spina in acqua o in altri liquidi.
Non pulite il generatore di vapore mediante oggetti metallici o duri.

Scollegate l’umidicatore dalla presa di corrente e portate la manopola di accensione su

“Off”.
Pulite il serbatoio dell’acqua e il coperchio in acqua calda e detergente liquido o in lava­stoviglie.
Pulite la parte interna del serbatoio riempiendolo d’acqua ed agitandolo ripetutamente,
tenendo il coperchio saldamente chiuso.

Nota: Vericate che nel serbatoio dell’acqua o nel coperchio del serbatoio non vi siano

residui di detersivo liquido.
Pulite la base con un panno umido.

Consiglio: La pulitura regolare dell’apparecchio eviterà la formazione di calcare.

Disincrostazione

Suggerimenti per evitare la formazione di calcare:
Usate acqua fredda precedentemente bollita, ltrata o distillata e accertatevi che la tem­peratura dell’acqua non superi i 40 ºC.
Pulite il coperchio, il serbatoio dell’acqua, il generatore di vapore e la vaschetta dell’acqua
una volta alla settimana.

Riempite il serbatoio con acqua pulita tutte le volte che usate l’umidicatore.
Pulite tutte le parti dell’umidicatore, svuotate il serbatoio e la vaschetta dell’acqua e

asciugate tutte le parti con un panno morbido e asciutto quando non intendete usare l’u-

midicatore per periodi prolungati.

Eliminazione del calcare

Scollegate l’umidicatore dalla presa di corrente e portate la manopola di accensione su

“Off”.
Riempite la vaschetta dell’acqua con 100 ml di aceto (4% di acido acetico per 200 ml di
acqua).
Lasciate la soluzione all’interno della vaschetta per almeno 4 ore (meglio se per una not­te).
Svuotate la vaschetta ed eliminate il calcare con un panno morbido.
Versate un po’ di aceto (acido acetico al 4%) sul generatore di vapore, quindi rimuovetelo
con un panno umido.
Risciacquate tutte le parti con acqua pulita.

Il prodotto deve essere smaltito presso i centri di raccolta dedicati o deve essere restituito al rivenditore nel caso
si voglia sostituire il prodotto con un altro equivalente nuovo.
Il costruttore si farà carico delle spese necessarie allo smaltimento del prodotto secondo quanto prescritto dalla

Sono quindi escluse tutte le parti che hanno subito rotture accidentali o che sono soggette
ad usura (tra le quali lampade, batterie, resistenze) e difetti derivanti da un utilizzo non
domestico dell’apparecchio, negligenza nell’uso o nella manutenzione, danni da trasporto
e tutti quei danni non imputabili direttamente al produttore.

Se entro il periodo di garanzia emerge un difetto che non può essere riparato, l’apparec­chio viene cambiato gratuitamente.

RELATIVE HUMIDITY LEVEL

People need a certain level of humidity to feel comfortable. Using a humidier helps you to keep

indoor humidity at a comfortable level. A humidity level between 40 and 60% is recommended. A
humidity level below 30% can be dry and uncomfortable.
The amount of water vapour in the air is usually less than is required to saturate the air. Relative
humidity is the amount of water vapour in the air compared to the amount of water vapour the air
can hold at the current temperature.

WARNINGS

Read this user manual carefully before you use the appliance and save it for future reference.
Danger

Do not immerse the base of the humidier in water and do not let water run into the base.
Never open the base to prevent electric shock.

Warning

Check if the voltage indicated on the type plate corresponds to the local mains voltage before you

connect the appliance.
The appliance is suitable for mains voltages ranging from 220 to 240V.
Keep the mains cord away from hot surfaces.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervi­sion or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not touch the steam generator when the appliance is plugged in.

Caution

Switch off the appliance and disconnect it from the mains immediately if it produces a strange smell
or an abnormal noise.

Switch off the humidier and unplug it before you move, clean or ll it.
Do not switch on the humidier when there is no water in the water tank.

Do not use any metal or hard objects to clean the steam generator.
Do not direct the mist output at furniture or electrical appliances.

Keep the humidier at normal room temperature and do not use it at very low temperatures (below

0°C).

Make sure the humidier and the mains cord are always out of reach of the baby (at least one metre

away).

Do not use the humidier in damp places or close to water.
Do not use the humidier in places where the humidity level exceeds 50%.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

FILLING THE WATER TANK AND ADDITION OF ESSENTIAL OILS

Remove the water tank from the unit and turn it over. Remove the tank cap by turning
counterclockwise.
Fill the tank with tap water only, BUT TEMPERATURES BETWEEN 10 AND 50 ° C; NOT
PAID DIRECTLY FROM THE TAP WATER! Fig. 2

Only put water in the water tank. Never put any additives, e.g. inhalants or essential
oils, in the water tank.

Put the tank cap back on the water tank and turn the tank cap clockwise until it is tightly
locked.
Put the water tank back onto the base and carefully align it in its original position on the

base.

ESSENTIAL OILS MAY BE ADDED BUT ONLY THROUGH THE APPROPRIATE TANK:
Remove the oils tank from the water tank with help of the two side wings, remove the lid
and put a few drops of oils. Then close the lid and put the tank back into position. Fig. 3
Put the mains plug in the wall socket.
Do not use an extension cord.
Turn the on/off knob clockwise until you hear a click to switch on the humidier.

The power-on light goes on.

Turn the on/off knob anticlockwise until you hear a click to switch off the humidier.

The power-on light goes out.

Remove the mains plug from the wall socket.

Empty the water tank and base and wipe them clean with a cloth and soft sponge if you
are not going to use the humidier for two or more days. Leave the water tank open to dry

completely.
This prevents algae and bacteria growth.

Note: Always unplug the appliance before you rell the water tank.

RESET: When the water ends and when safety switch is activated, to restart the humidier

is necessary to press the RESET button to reset the thermostat settings.

AUTOMATIC MIST STOP

The safety switch automatically switches off the steam generator to stop the mist output
when the water level is too low.
The tip-over switch automatically switches off the steam generator to stop the mist output

when the humidier is tilted.

CLEANING

Do not use cleaning or scouring agents.
Do not immerse the base, mains cord or mains plug in water or any other liquid.
Do not use any metal or hard objects to clean the steam generator. Disconnect the humi-

dier from the mains and set the on/off knob to ‘off’.
Clean the water tank and the tank cover in hot water with some washing-up liquid or in

the dishwasher.

Clean the inside of the water tank by lling it with water, rmly tightening the tank cap and
shaking the water tank repeatedly.

Note: Make sure that you do not leave any washing-up liquid in the water tank or tank

cover.
Clean the base with a damp cloth.

Tip: Regular cleaning reduces scale build-up.

Descaling

Tips to avoid scale

Use cold boiled, ltered or distilled water. Make sure that the water temperature does not
exceed 40ºC.
Clean the tank cover, the water tank, the steam generator and the water basin every week.
Fill the water tank with fresh water every time you use the humidier.
Clean all parts of the humidier, empty the water tank and the water basin and dry all parts
with a soft, dry cloth when you are not going to use your humidier for a long time.

Descaling the humidier

Disconnect the humidier from the mains and set the on/off knob to ‘off’.
Fill the water basin with 100ml of vinegar (4% acetic acid) per 200ml of water).

Leave the water and vinegar in the water basin for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).
Empty the water basin and remove the scale with a soft cloth.
Put some white vinegar (4% acetic acid) on the steam generator and then wipe away the
vinegar with a moist cloth.
Rinse all parts with clean water.

Humidité relative

Un certain taux d’humidité relative est nécessaire pour bien respirer. Un humidicateur permet de
maintenir l’hygrométrie intérieure à un niveau confortable. On recommande ainsi un taux d’humidité

compris entre 40
et 60 %. En dessous de 30 %, l’air est sec et inconfortable.

La quantité de vapeur d’eau en suspension dans l’air est généralement inférieure au point de satu­ration. L’humidité relative est la quantité de vapeur d’eau présente dans l’air par rapport à la quantité
qu’il peut contenir à une température donnée.

IMPORTANT

Lisez attentivement ce mode d’emploi avant d’utiliser l’appareil et conservez-le pour un usage

ultérieur.

Danger

Ne plongez pas l’humidicateur dans l’eau et évitez que de l’eau ne pénètre dans le socle.
Pour éviter tout risque d’électrocution, n’ouvrez jamais le socle.

Assurez-vous que l’humidicateur et le cordon d’alimentation restent hors de portée de bébé (à au

moins un mètre).

Cet appareil a été contrôlé en usine. La garantie est valable 24 mois à partir de la date d’achat pour
tout défaut de matériel ou de fabrication. En cas de réclamation, le ticket de caisse et la garantie

En cas de besoin et pour toute assistance technique, veuillez contacter votre revendeur ou vous
adresser à notre siège. Cela vous permettra de conserver votre appareil dans de meilleures con­ditions et de NE PAS invalider la garantie. Toute manipulation de l’appareil par une personne non

autorisée ou non qualiée annulera automatiquement la garantie.

Conditions de garantie

Pendant la durée de garantie, si des pannes provenant d’un défaut de materiel et/ou de fabrication
apparaissent, nous assurons gratuitement la réparation aux conditions énoncées ci-dessous :

- l’appareil a été correctement utilisé et ce uniquement à l’usage pour lequel il a été fabriqué ;

- l’appareil a été réparé par des experts, c’est-à-dire par des personnes mandatées par le fournis­seur ;

- la présentation du ticket de caisse est obligatoire;

- les pièces présentant les signes évidents d’usure ne sont pas pris en compte dans la garantie.

En conséquence, sont exclus de la garantie toutes les pièces qui auraient subi des dommages
accidentels ou présentant des signes d’usure normale (parmi lesquelles, ampoules, batteries, piles,
résistances), toutes les pièces comportant des défauts dus à la non utilisation domestique, la négli-

gence dans la manipulation et l’entretien, les dommages lors du transport et tous les dommages
non imputables directement au producteur.

Si un défaut survient lors de la période de garantie et ne peut être réparé, l’appareil sera remplacé

gratuitement.

Relative Luftfeuchtigkeit

Der Mensch braucht eine gewisse Luftfeuchtigkeit, um sich wohl zu fühlen. Mithilfe eines Luft­befeuchters können Sie diese im Haus auf einem komfortablen Niveau halten. Die empfohlene
Luftfeuchtigkeit liegt zwischen 40 und 60 %. Ein Wert unter 30 % kann zu trocken sein und Unbe-

hagen verursachen.
In der Regel enthält die Luft weniger Wasserdampf als zur Sättigung der Luft erforderlich ist. Die

relative Luftfeuchtigkeit ist das Verhältnis der tatsächlich in der Luft bendlichen Menge Wasser­dampf zu der Wasserdampfmenge, die bei der jeweils aktuellen Temperatur von der Luft absorbiert
werden kann.

Lesen Sie diese Bedienungsanleitung vor dem Gebrauch des Geräts aufmerksam durch, und be­wahren Sie sie für eine spätere Verwendung auf.

Gefahr

Tauchen Sie die Basis des Luftbefeuchters nicht in Wasser und achten Sie darauf, dass kein Wasser

in sie gelangt.

Öffnen Sie niemals die Gerätebasis, um das Risiko eines Stromschlags zu vermeiden.

Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des Geräts, ob die auf dem Typenschild angegebene Be­triebsspannung mit der örtlichen Netzspannung übereinstimmt.

Achtung

Schalten Sie den Luftbefeuchter aus, und ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, bevor Sie das Gerät bewe­gen, reinigen oder auffüllen.
Schalten Sie den Luftbefeuchter nicht ein, wenn der Wassertank leer ist.
Verwenden Sie zum Reinigen der Dampfeinheit keine Gegenstände aus Metall oder einem anderen

harten Material.

Richten Sie den austretenden Sprühnebel nicht auf Möbel oder Elektrogeräte.

Bewahren Sie den Luftbefeuchter bei normaler Raumtemperatur auf und verwenden Sie ihn nicht
bei Temperaturen unter 0°C.

Verwenden Sie den Luftbefeuchter nicht in feuchten Räumen oder in der Nähe von Wasser.

Verwenden Sie den Luftbefeuchter nicht an Orten mit einer Luftfeuchtigkeit von über 50%.
Setzen Sie den Luftbefeuchter weder extremer Hitze oder Kältenoch direktem Sonnenlicht aus.
Verwenden Sie den Luftbefeuchter nicht im Freien.
Der Luftbefeuchter ist nur für den Gebrauch im Haushalt bestimmt.
Kippen, bewegen oder entleeren Sie den Luftbefeuchter keinesfalls, während er läuft.
Ziehen Sie nach Gebrauch des Luftbefeuchters den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
Decken Sie den Luftbefeuchter nicht mit einem Handtuch oder einer Decke ab.

Grado de humedad relativa

Las personas necesitan cierto grado de humedad para sentirse cómodas.

El uso de un humidicador le ayuda a mantener un grado de humedad confortable en interiores. Se

recomienda un grado de humedad entre el 40 y el 60%. Un grado de humedad por debajo del 30%
puede resultar seco e incómodo.
La cantidad de vapor de agua en el aire suele ser menor que la necesaria para saturarlo. La hume­dad relativa es la cantidad de vapor de agua en el aire comparada con la cantidad de vapor de agua
que el aire puede retener a la temperatura actual.

IMPORTANTE

Antes de usar el aparato, lea atentamente este manual de usuario y consérvelo por si necesitara

consultarlo en el futuro.

Peligro

No sumerja la base del humidicador en agua ni deje que entre agua en la misma.
No abra nunca la base para evitar el riesgo de descargas eléctricas.

Advertencia

Antes de enchufar el aparato, compruebe si el voltaje indicado en la placa de modelo se correspon­de con el voltaje de red local.
El aparato es adecuado para voltajes de red de 220 a 240 V.

Mantenga el cable de alimentación alejado de supercies calientes.

No utilice el humidicador en lugares húmedos o cerca del agua.
No utilice el humidicador en lugares donde el nivel de humedad supere el 50%.
No exponga el humidicador a temperaturas extremadamente bajas o altas, ni a la luz solar directa.
No utilice el humidicador al aire libre.

distribuidor a la hora de comprar un nuevo aparato del mismo tipo y destinado a las mi­smas funciones. El distribudor se cargarà el costo de eliminación de los equipos siguendo
las normas actuales.
Este procedimiento de recogida separada de los equipos eléctricos y electrónicos se rea­liza con el propósito de una política del medioambiente comunitaria con objetivos de sal­vaguardia, defensa y mejoramiento de la calidad del medioambiente y para evitar efectos
potenciales en la salud de los seres humanos debido a la presencia de dentro de estos
equipos o a un uso inapropiado de los mismos o de algunas de sus partes.

Condiciones de garantía

Durante la garantía, si algunas averías aparecen a causa de un defecto de material y/o fabricación,

garantizamos gratuitamente la reparación a las condiciones siguientes :

- el aparato ha sido utilizado correctamente y esto solamente al uso para el cual ha sido fabricado ;

- expertos repararon el aparato, es decir, personas designadas por el proveedor ;

- es obligatorio de presentar el recibo scal;

- las partes que presentan señales evidentes de desgaste no se tienen en cuenta en la garantía.

En consecuencia, todas las partes que habrían sufrido daños accidentales o que presentaban

señales de uso normal se excluyen de la garantía (entre las cuales, bombillas, baterías, pilas, resi­stencias), todas las partes implicando defectos debidos a la no utilización doméstica, la negligencia

en la manipulación y el mantenimiento, los daños en el transporte y todos los daños no imputables
directamente al fabricante.

Si un defecto aparece durante la garantía y no puede estar reparado, el aparato se sustituirá gra­tuitamente.

Después del nal de la garantía, concedemos siempre una gran importancia a la reparación.
Para la asistencia técnica y/o reparaciones fuera de la garantía, es necesario contactar directamen-
