Playing video games can make your muscles, joints, skin or eyes hurt. Follow these instructions to avoid problems such as tendinitis, carpal tunnel syndrome, skin irritation or eyestrain:

• Avoid excessive play. Take a 10 to 15 minute break every hour, even if you don’t think you need it. Parents should monitor their children for appropriate play.

• If your hands, wrists, arms or eyes become tired or sore while playing, or if you feel symptoms such as tingling, numbness, burning or stiffness, stop and rest for several hours before playing again.

• If you continue to have any of the above symptoms or other discomfort during or after play, stop playing and see a doctor.

SETUP AND USE

The POWER A LEGO® Play & Build Remote brings creativity to

™

experience! You can build designs on the top of your

your Wii remote using any combination of the included LEGO

pieces or other official LEGO® pieces. The color possibilities are endless - your imagination is the only limitation. With the included custom LEGO® Battery Cover you can even use your own LEGO® pieces to build a custom display stand to showcase your LEGO

Play & Build Remote

(when not in use).

BATTERY INFORMATION

The remote is powered by 2 “AA” (1.5V) batteries (sold separately). It is also compatible with most POWER A Wii

™

controller charging

systems.

BEFORE USE

1. Insert (2) “AA” (1.5V) batteries into the battery compartment.

2. Select a battery cover and place over battery compartment (see Note, below).

3. Thread the wrist strap through the hole at the bottom of the remote. Players must use the wrist strap at all times to prevent losing control of the remote and causing damage to the remote, surrounding objects, or injury to other people.

Note: The LEGO

Play & Build Remote includes (2) battery covers.

Either battery cover can be used during game play.

SETUP AND USE

SYNCING WITH Wii

Note: Be sure batteries are inserted into the LEGO® Play & Build

Remote ™ before attempting to sync.

1. Press the Power button on the Wii™ to turn it on.

2. Remove the battery cover on the back of the remote. Press and release the SYNC button inside the cover. The Player LEDs will blink.

3. Open the SD card slot cover on the front of the Wii™ console. Press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the compartment.

4. When the Player LED stops blinking, connection is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number assigned to the remote.

SLEEP/ACTIVE MODES

After 3-5 minutes of inactivity, the LEGO will enter “Sleep Mode” to conserve battery life. Press any button to reactivate the remote.

USE OF LEGO® PIECES

Note: The included LEGO

top surface of the LEGO® Play & Build Remote. Using these LEGO® pieces on the remote will not affect performance during game play. Use of any other LEGO® pieces on the remote during game play is not recommended.

Using the included LEGO® pieces, completely cover all of the LEGO® surfaces on the front (face) of the remote in your favorite design. To safely remove pieces, use the included LEGO® removal tool.

The LEGO® Battery Cover also features a built-in LEGO® surface. By using your own LEGO® pieces (sold separately), you can create a display stand for your LEGO® Play & Build Remote when not in use.

WARNING - BATTERY LEAKAGE

Leakage of battery fluid can cause personal injury as well as damage to your remote. If battery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash the affected skin and clothes. Keep battery fluid away from your eyes and mouth. Leaking batteries may make popping sounds. To avoid battery leakage:

• Do not mix used and new batteries (replace all batteries at the same time).

• Do not mix different brands of batteries.

• POWER A recommends alkaline batteries. Do not use Lithium ion, nickel cadmium (nicad), or carbon zinc batteries.

• Do not leave batteries in the remote for long periods of non-use.

• Do not recharge alkaline or non-rechargeable batteries.

• Do not put the batteries in backwards. Make sure that the positive (+) and negative (-) ends are facing in the correct directions. Insert the negative end first.

• When removing batteries, remove the positive end first.

• Do not use damaged, deformed or leaking batteries.

CONFIGURATION ET UTILISER

AVANT D’UTILISER CET APPAREIL

1. Insérez (2) piles AA (1,5V) dans le compartiment des piles.

CONFIGURATION ET UTILISER

SYNCHRONISATION DE LA TÉLÉCOMMANDE AVEC LA CONSOLE WII™

1. Appuyez sur le bouton de mise en marche de la console Wii™ pour la mettre sous tension.

2. Retirez le couvercle du compartiment des piles à l’arrière de la télécommande. Appuyez sur le bouton SYNC dans le compartiment, puis relâchez-le. Les DEL « Joueur » se mettent à clignoter.

3. Ouvrez le logement de la carte SD à l’avant de la console Wii™. Appuyez sur le bouton SYNC dans le logement, puis relâchez-le.

4. Lorsque les DEL « Joueur » arrêtent de clignoter, la connexion est complète. La DEL qui est allumée indique le numéro du joueur assigné à la télécommande.

3. Abre la tapa de la ranura para tarjeta SD que se encuentra en la parte delantera de la consola Wii™. Oprime y suelta el botón SYNC en el interior del compartimiento.

4. Cuando deje de parpadear la luz LED de jugador, habrá finalizado la conexión. La luz LED encendida indica el número de jugador asignado al control remoto.

PRIMA DELL’USO

1. Inserire 2 batterie “AA (1,5V)” nel vano portabatterie.

2. Scegliere un copribatteria e posizionarlo sul vano portabatterie (vedere la Nota più sotto).

3. Far passare il cinturino nel foro situato sulla parte inferiore del telecomando. Per evitare di perdere il controllo sul telecomando, causando danni allo stesso e agli oggetti circostanti, o lesioni ad altre persone, i giocatori devono usare sempre il cinturino.

SINCRONIZZAZIONE CON Wii

Nota: prima di procedere alla sincronizzazione verificare che le bat-

terie siano inserite nel LEGO® Play & Build Remote™.

1. Premere il tasto di alimentazione sulla Wii™ per accenderla.

2. Togliere il coperchio del vano batteria sul retro del telecomando. Premere e rilasciare il pulsante SYNC all’interno del coperchio. I LED “Giocatore” lampeggeranno.

3. Aprire il coperchio dello slot della scheda SD sulla parte anteriore della console Wii™. Premere e rilasciare il tasto SYNC all’interno del comparto.

4. La connessione è completata quando i LED “Giocatore” smettono di lampeggiare. Il LED illuminato indica il numero del giocatore assegnato al telecomando.

5. Per ulteriori informazioni su come programmare il telecomando fare riferimento al Manuale d’uso della Wii™.

MODALITÀ SOSPENSIONE/ATTIVA

Dopo 3-5 minuti di inattività, il LEGO in modalità Sospensione per preservare la durata delle batterie. Per riattivarlo è sufficiente premere un tasto qualsiasi.

BATTERIEINFORMATIONEN

Die Fernbedienung wird mit zwei 1,5V AA-Batterien betrieben (separat erhältlich). Sie ist zudem mit den meisten POWER A Wii Controller-Ladesystemen kompatibel.

WARNHINWEIS ZUR BEWEGUNGSBELASTUNG

Längeres Videospielen kann zu schmerzenden Muskeln, Gelenken, Hautflächen oder Augen führen. Beachten Sie diese Anweisungen, um Probleme wie Tendinitis, Karpaltunnelsyndrom, Hautreizungen oder Augenüberanstrengungen zu vermeiden:

• Übermäßig langes Spielen vermeiden.

• Nach jeder Stunde Spielzeit sollte unbedingt eine 10 bis 15 Minuten lange Pause eingelegt werden. Eltern sollten ihre Kinder beaufsichtigen, um ein angemessenes Spielverhalten sicherzustellen.

• Wenn während des Spielens die Hände, Handgelenke, Arme oder Augen müde werden oder schmerzen oder wenn Symptome wie Kribbeln, taubes oder brennendes Gefühl oder Steifheit auftreten, muss vor dem Weiterspielen eine mehrere Stunden lange Pause eingelegt werden.

• Sollten weiterhin irgendwelche der oben genannten Symptome oder ein anderes Unbehagen während oder nach dem Spielen auftreten, sollte ein Arzt aufgesucht werden.

VOR DER VERWENDUNG

1. Zwei (2) 1,5V AA-Batterien in das Batteriefach einlegen.

2. Wählen Sie eine Batteriefachabdeckung aus und bringen Sie sie am Batteriefach an (siehe Hinweis unten).

3. Führen Sie die Handgelenkschlaufe durch das Loch am Boden der Fernbedienung ein. Bitte verwenden Sie immer die Handgelenkschlaufe, damit eine Lockerung Ihres Griffs an der Fernbedienung verhindert wird. Dadurch werden sowohl Schäden an der Fernbedienung und Objekten in der näheren Umgebung als auch Verletzungen an anderen Personen vermieden.

SYNCHRONISIEREN MIT Wii

Hinweis: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass die Batterien in die LEGO®

1. Drücken Sie die Netztaste an der Wii

2. Entfernen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung an der Rückseite der Fernbedienung. Drücken Sie kurz den SYNC-Knopf an der Innenseite der Abdeckung. Die Player-LEDs blinken.

3. Öffnen Sie den Deckel des SD-Kartensteckplatzes an der Vorderseite der Wii auf der Innenseite des Fachs.

4. Wenn die Player-LED aufhört zu blinken, ist die Verbindung hergestellt. Die jeweils leuchtende LED zeigt die Player-Nummer an, die der Fernbedienung zugewiesen wurde.

WARNUNG – AUSLAUFEN DER BATTERIE

Die auslaufende Batterieflüssigkeit kann Verletzungen verursachen und die Fernbedienung beschädigen. Im Fall einer auslaufenden Batterie die betroffenen Hautflächen und Kleidungsstücke gründlich waschen. Die Batterieflüssigkeit nicht in die Augen oder in den Mund gelangen lassen.
