LIMITED WARRANTY

Trailer System-Guard® Air Dryer and

Cyclone DuraDrain™ Water Separator

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC (“Bendix”) warrants to the original retail purchaser of the Trailer System-Guard® air dryer or Cyclone DuraDrain™ water separator that the product sold by Bendix will be free from defects in materials or workmanship. Warranty coverage is from the date of manufacture for a period of 36 months for the Trailer System-Guard® air dryer and 12 months for the Cyclone DuraDrain™ water separator.

The limited warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by abuse, misuse, road debris, accidents or improper installation, maintenance or service.

Proper application of the Trailer System-Guard® air dryer requires periodic purging, so failures associated with saturated desiccant is a non-warrantable condition.

Proper application of the Cyclone DuraDrain™ water separator (CDD) requires periodic maintenance of the removable purge nut. Bendix will not warrant the CDD product due to build up of debris on or around the purge valve because this is a preventable condition and not a defect in material or workmanship.

Product:

Product claimed to be defective must be returned freight prepaid via the Original Equipment (OE) dealership or authorized Bendix distributor within thirty (30) days after the date any defect is ﬁ rst discovered.

Unauthorized repairs will void this limited warranty.

Bendix will inspect the product and make the ﬁ nal determination as to whether the product is covered under this limited warranty . When a warranty claim is allowed, Bendix’ responsibility is limited, at Bendix’ sole option, to repair or replace the defective product. The replacement unit will be warranted for the remaining time period of the original warranty.

Labor:

For the ﬁ rst twelve (12) months, Bendix will also allow its current labor rate applied to the standard hours allowed in Removal and Replacement Schedule (BW1322) when the defective product has been installed.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY OPERATION OF LAW OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND IN NO EVENT WILL BENDIX COMMERCIAL VEHICLE SYSTEMS LLC BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT , SPECIAL, PROGRESSIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIA L DAMAGES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, COSTS INCU RR ED FOR SERVICE CALLS, TOWING, OR DOWNTIME.
