Return with remanufactured exchange cores. Air dryer cores incorrectly tagged will not be eligible for credit.

As a result of this obsolescence, the cores for the AD-4 air dryer, cartridge, and end cover will only be accepted for credit, through April 30, 2012 (must be shipped by April 15th, 2012). Credit will be given to those customers who have current outstanding AD-4 core obligations for the following core items:

For customers with AD-4 core return eligibility, (cores that are owed to Bendix) only those cores that are eligible will be accepted. Customers who do not currently have AD-4 core return eligibility can not return AD-4 cores for credit under the standard core program.

After April 30, AD-4 air dryer cores will only be accepted under the Bendix

Air Dryer Upgrade Program. Per the speciﬁ cations of this program (reference BW2434), all cores returned must have the orange changeover tag (BW1829) attached to receive core credit. Note that this program only covers air dryer assemblies and does not include the cartridge or end cover.

SHIPPING OF CORES

As a reminder, Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC (Bendix) pays the freight for core shipments of 500 pounds or more, contingent upon the customer using our preferred freight carrier. Customers were previously contacted by Ryder – the core shipping logistics company contracted by Bendix for the core return program – regarding the preferred carrier for their region. Note that Ryder handles the logistics and does not ship the core returns. If the preferred freight carrier is unknown, refer to the information below.

Log into www.bendix.biz. The Cores Section (where you access your core report) contains two ﬁ les. The ﬁ rst ﬁ le is the North America Core Return Map and the second ﬁ le is the Canadian Core Return Map. These maps list the carriers by state or province. For additional assistance contact Kelly at 260-355-4307 (if Kelly is not available, call Ryder at 877-681-1949).
